About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- brendonm330 contributionsExcellent MTB ShuttlesThe MTB Shuttle crew were excellent , always professional, engaging and friendly. The shuttle is pretty short, but sure beats the alternate, opening up the fun of the gravity trails.Written January 5, 2024
- Sal S0 contributionsHelpful and interestingVery helpful attendant got us set up hiring e-bikes for a 2 hour ride. Excellent fun! We went from the top of the golf course hill, across the bridge, along the boardwalk, past the the boat ramp where we saw a snoozing seal, out to tip of the marina rockwall and back. Saw so much more than in a car or walking! Bikes were not hard to operate and were adjusted for height, helmets provided. In-shop display of the original lighthouse pieces were more interesting than the tour of the island itself. Great job, Narooma Vistiors Centre!Written March 6, 2023
- Relax237813078310 contributionsNarooma-an ideal choice running away from the cityPeaceful Seaside town. Have a great time going hiking, having great seafood, shopping at the local market, staying at a cozy and delicate house with friends, and taking a wall along the beach at night. Local people are really friendly and kind.Written September 28, 2022

- lisstravelsalot0 contributionsDon’t bother for info - yet. But see the lighthouse display. We went in the doors and the place stunk due to being locked up. Old brochures lying around etc. They let us walk into the lighthouse area though to view the massive lighthouse lights and historic display they have. They may let you do the same until they open properly again.Written February 10, 2022
- Catherine B0 contributionsIt’s a must do!We hired e-bikes for 3 hours and rode along the boardwalk from Narooma to Dalmeny. The bikes were amazing and the views even better! The owner was very friendly and helpful. She gave us a detailed run down of how to use an e-bike so we felt confident from the start. It’s a must do!Written February 1, 2022
- rachbuxton990 contributionsBrilliant country cycle with a swim, great coffee, lunch and lots of laughterAbsolutely fabulous packed out togs and cycle out through beautiful quiet rolling countryside for a swim at mystery bay then on to tilba central for coffee scones and lunch picked up some lovely local produce then looped back to Narooma .. 50km in total .. all of reasonable fitness but definitely ebikes are the way to go .. in our late 50s had an absolute blast .. sally was so helpful .. definitely recommendWritten November 23, 2021
- Hayley B0 contributionsFantastic spacious appartmentThis 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment is CC wonderful. Absolutely stunning views, very clean and the host Sally us wonderful to deal with. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants, kid’s playgrounds, the marina and more. We have been here a couple of times and can’t wait to go back.Written October 25, 2021
- geoffg7740 contributionsE-Bikes and rolling hills. We had a cracking day on the e-bikes. Sal was super organised, friendly and helpful. We cycled out of Narooma rolling through the hinterland towards the Tilba winery. The e-bikes made going up the hills easy and we were able to cruise and chat. We navigated to the Tilba winery and enjoyed a couple of local brewskis. We then rolled into Tilba and had a great lunch at the Dromedary. And yes, a couple more brewskis. After a quick look around Richard loaded the bikes a d drove us back to Narooma. The e-bikes, Sal and Richard were the real stars of the day offering plenty of flexibility and support. Put this on you ‘must do list’ when you come to Narooma.Written May 1, 2021
- 993anitat0 contributionsVery Helpful StaffWent into the Information Centre to get a map of the local area and ding out about interesting places to visit. The lady was wonderful telling us about Australia Rock and the Seals on the break wall. When we said we were towing a van she advised us where to park as turning at the end with a van is impossible if there are cars.Written April 28, 2021
- crystalaH9526FG0 contributionsIn love with E-Bikes!We absolutely loved this tour and even our teenager, who is difficult to please, had a ball. Thor was a great guide and was making sure to go above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying it. We loved that Thor asked us at the end if there was anything he could improve on, he genuinely cares about his customers. Thank you!Written April 13, 2021
- Michelle B0 contributionsAmazing day exploring Narooma by EbikeWe had an incredible day, our first time on ebikes. With Mum, Dad Poppy and 4 children aged 2-15 it can be a challenge to find a day out that suits everyone. Sally mapped out a great itinerary for us and explained in detail how the bikes worked and how best to navigate hills etc. we rode from Narooma to Dalmeny then back via the Oyster farmers daughter. We finished the day with a fabulous late lunch at the QuarterdeckWritten February 26, 2021
- 580shanep0 contributionsE bike trip4 of us tried e bikes for the first time and loved it. The staff were very helpful and set us up with the right bike for the right person. Instructions on how to use the equipment correctly and safely were given and off we went. We rode from Narooma to Dalmeny, a 20km round trip, on a beautiful sunny day with the most glorious coastal scenery to look at on the way. We stopped at Wiggies Bakery, in Dalmeny, for some great coffee and cake, before riding back. 2 hours went by very quickly. It was a lot of fun, something we could all do together, easy to learn, and you could do as little or as much physically as you wanted. We enjoyed it so much we would do it all again and highly recommend it to everyone.Written February 9, 2021
- JEKE370 contributionsAwesome e bike experienceHired some e-bikes for the first time and rode the beachside track from Narooma to Dalmeny. Around 20kms round trip. Absolutely magical and felt like we were the only ones on it. Really easy ride with electric assistance and anyone who can ride will have the bike tech worked out within 10 minutes. Scenery is awesome, coffee shop about 15 mins in, and look out for seals by the boat ramp. Enjoy !!!!Written January 1, 2021
- SymonS450 contributionsFun e-bike experienceJust like a lot of the other reviewers, we hadn't ridden an e-bike before and hadn't ridden a bike for a while. It was so easy and made the trip to Dalmeny along the coast so enjoyable and fun. We had a smoothie at Wildflower Organics and then headed back, stopping to read all the interesting signs along the shared walk/cycle way. Really recommend this!Written December 12, 2020

A great way to take see the coastline from Narooma to Dalmeny. It's a comfortable and safe 2-hour round trip with plenty of time to stop, take photos and appreciate the beautiful scenery using the amazing coastal trail. Best of all you don't have to be a seasoned bike rider to enjoy this activity. The bikes are easy to use and comfortable, with a small basket to hold a drink, phone, camera and snacks. Hire for 3 hours and enjoy a picnic along the way. Sally and her team were friendly, helpful and informative and the booking process was effortless. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend hiring an e bike and going exploring around Narooma. We had a blast. The e-bike ride from Narooma, across the bridge, along the board walk and all the way along the coast path to Dalmeny was breathtaking. It's a gorgeous ride, very chilled and easy with beautiful vistas of endless beaches and coastal views.
We booked our e bikes with Sally from Southbound Escapes and she was so helpful and efficient. She was waiting for us on Sunday morning at the visitors centre with our bikes and helmets and gave us heaps of advice and tips for the day. A lovely helpful person and so friendly, like so many people are in this area. We had such a fun time.
There is a place at Dalmeny called Wild organics where we had a delicious brekkie bowl before cycling back. Great morning.

We absolutely loved our experience!!
Communication was easy and direct and the booking process was so simple.
We arrived to 2 freshly sanitised bikes (with the baby seat already attached) and clean helmets.
Our little girl loved every minute of being on the bike and laughed for basically the whole 2 hours!
Thank you southbound escapes for making the last day of our trip perfect!

I hired an ebike for 2 hrs and rode the bike track from Narooma to Dalmeny. It is simply breathtaking scenery, so many rugged untouched beaches. I have done several rides and this is up there in the top. This was my first time on an ebike and I am a convert. Made the ride thoroughly enjoyable. Amazing advice and assistance from Sally who runs the Information Centre where you hire the bikes.

We had a great time riding these bikes along the bike path to Dalmeny. The scenery was spectacular and the bikes made the hills a breeze. Didn't even feel them! Some great coffee shops along the way too. Make sure you give this a try!

What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon! Friendly, helpful service and the e-bikes are so easy to use. The staff can show you how to use it if you’re worried. I towed my daughter in a kids trailer from Narooma to Dalmeny and back with no issues. We had loads of fun taking in the gorgeous scenery and a drop at a playground or two along the way.

A brilliant 2 hour ride along the magnificent coastal cycle track. Extremely scenic and the bikes are so easy to use. It was very easy travelling and a great way to see so much. Highly recommended adventure for all ages and you don’t have to be super fit or a master bike rider! Loved it.

Hi,
I am heading to Narooma betwen the 12-14 and would like to hire 4 bikes on the 13 Feb. How early do I need to book? Is this a guided tour or can be just head off ourselves? What is the time I would have to have the bike back? I don't know whether to go for a morning ride or an afternoon ride?

You go on your own. No guide but they show you where to go. Go when it’s cooler. Early morning. Or late afternoon.
