If you want to explore and learn to Surf, or advance your surfing if you are already hooked then try it with this lot. Great instructors and friendly efficient staff. On holiday with my wife and daughter(22). We both wanted to Surf, and to get the most out of it, to do so with a local Instructor. She has surfed a bit, me a couple of lessons. Called a few places but either couldn’t get a reply or answer. Both of us were feeling a bit disappointed. Then I called Let’s Go Surfing @ Byron Bay. Ava came to the rescue. (Note to owners -She’s a great asset to the company as is Dan) Requested a private lesson and we met Dan . Surfing sorted and both my daughter and I had a great lesson. Dan is patient, knowledgeable and happy to share that knowledge at a level that’s easy to understand, which helped us get the most out of the lesson. As we were enjoying Byron so much we extended our stay there and booked another lesson. Ava to the rescue and with a bit of a jiggle arranged for us to have Dan again. It’s a busy place and can feel intimidating with so many experienced surfers around. Dan kept us in the best place for our level of experience and made the whole thing feel very welcoming. Would love to stay here longer 😄

Had the best time with Let's Go Surfing! Mitch and Ava were great instructors that made sure everyone was safe, and had lots of fun! I strongly recommend anyone going to Byron and looking to get a taste of surfing, that you do it here! If I was staying longer in Byron, I would have booked private lessons with either Mitch or Ava as they were so incredible. Thank you for a fabulous day!!

I had the most fantastic tour on my honeymoon. We were guided around the beautiful Brunswick River which is like a dream. The SUP boards are so much easier that I though to use. We were explained all the safety things we needed to know so I felt safe. Can't stop smiling! Thanks guys!

Had an amazing time paddleboarding yesterday, waters were calm so could go at our own pace. Our instructor Dan gave loads of great info about the area and its history, alongside giving lots of tips of what else to check out while we're in Byron. Also I had dislocated my shoulder a month earlier, which I made them fully aware of, and they were extremely accommodating; even gave tips on how to ease the strain on my bad shoulder. Recommend this SUP to anyone visiting Byron Bay!

Dylan ran a great SUP lesson and was super patient and encouraging. We were very lucky to spot a pod of dolphins and several fish. I can’t recommend Let’s Go Surfing Byron Bay enough - they’re awesome!

Today we did a stand up paddle board tour on Brunswick river, our instructor was an absolute legend. He had us up on our feet in no time then we headed up the river. Such a beautiful river and surround area to explore. Our instructor was also super knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the history of Brunswick heads. We also lucked out and got to see lots of wildlife. Highly recommended this experience!! Can’t thank Lets Go SUP enough for looking after us and making it so much fun!!

What an amazing tour ! Brunswick heads was beautiful and the guide was fantastic super knowlegable and passionate about the area. A must do in Byron Bay !

Our family absolutely loved the surfing lessons here at Byron bay. We had such a friendly instructor called Guy, who taught us all the tricks and tips especially for us beginners. It was such a friendly and fun community and enjoyed every bit. We went through all the safety tips then set out into the water. It was super safe and definitely recommend.

I ended up being the only person for the lesson so I had a private session. The lesson was good and we even saw a turtle! I would definitely go again.

My fiancé and I had a private surfing lesson and we enjoyed it so much! Ava, our instructor was so friendly and made us feel completely comfortable, she was very patient and we were able to stand up and catch waves independently by the end of the lesson! I couldn’t recommend enough! It was so easy to book and super efficient so we didn’t waste time faffing around! Th shop is 50 yards from the beach which makes it so nice, hassle free and relaxed. Already hired boards from Let’s Go Surfing to go out again on our own tomorrow morning.

Katie was excellent, a really outstanding coach and guide. She went out of her way to help my septuagenarian mother navigate a surfboard. An all round good egg!

Such a good way to see the estuary and try out paddle boarding for the first time. We went as a group on a private tour and loved every bit of it. Our guides Ricky and Krystal were super friendly and very accommodating for our experience level. The home-made hommus and bread was the perfect way to end the tour. Definitely recommend this as part of Byron getaway.

After one of the other local surf schools forgot we had booked with them for the morning, these guys made space for us at the last minute in the afternoon. We had a lesson run by Tara. She was super friendly and offered helpful tips. There were only 4 of us in the class (2 beginners) and everyone was standing up by the end. Couldn’t recommend these guys more 👍👍👍
