      A magical sunset cruise
The cruise was just magical, the commentary was informative but not intrusive and the food and drinks that were served were of a very high standard - it was generally excellent value for money. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we've booked the cruise for our granddaughter's 18th birthday party in November.

      Lovely river tour
We just had a great late afternoon cruising down the river on this tour and learnt a lot. The tapas were good and we loved the local gin and ginger beer mix! Highly recommend this tour.

      Relaxing beautiful and cared for
Is how our party of 11 felt during and after our sensational sunset cruise. Much gratitude to Simon and Rob for creating an easy and fun atmosphere for all ages to enjoy, relax, learn, and have some communion with the river and with each other. Planning another cruise with them soon!

A great kayak on the river
This was an amazing morning on the water for our family of four. Rob our guide was very knowledgeable about the native birds, fish and flora. We paddled our kayaks up a lovely little river tributary and then floated and paddled back with the tide. A lovely morning.

Great morning cruise up the Brunswick River
This was a last minute decision, recommended by the host at our accommodation. Couldn’t have been better! The staff was brilliant, friendly and informative. Just our kind of trip. Lots of beautiful local wildlife and interesting local stories, we enjoyed this and the company of both the staff and the other passengers. The trip passed quickly and we had drinks and lovely cake en route! Highly recommend!

      Private Cruise
From the very first phone enquiry with Lorraine we very impressed with the service and personal attention that was given. On the day both the skipper and first mate were friendly and knowledgeable. They catered to all our needs and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had a wonderful few hours. The boat was well equipped, comfortable and it was a smooth cruise up the river enjoying the beautiful scenery and the peace and tranquility. With 2 small children on board it was refreshing to see how accomodating the crew were to ensure their safety and keep them interested and occupied. Thank you all so much. It was truly a memorable event for all our family.

Myself and the family done the cruise yesterday and it absolutely amazing from the astonishing views to the kindness and happiness being spread by the staff members. The river views were very mind opening and we were introduced to a lovely amount of different types and of birds a long the journey. We were served with plenty of snacks and extremely delicious refreshments. I 100% recommend.

      An absolute must!
My partner and I had such a fantastic time on the sunset river cruise. So interesting to learn about the rainforest, wildlife and area. We saw two eagles and lots of other birds on the cruise. A very beautiful area that’s so peaceful. I enjoyed my glass of wine whilst cruising down the river. Simon the owner was very kind and so were all the staff. They went above and beyond. I must say that I loved Simon’s passion for nature, it really showed. It was great to get away from the crowds. A magical experience that I highly recommend.

      Unspoilt beauty outside, pampered inside!
I booked the morning cruise, but due to inadequate numbers, transferred over to the Sunset Cruise. It was just lovely. From the moment I stepped on board, Simon and Rob made me feel like I was a very special guest. They were warm, friendly, knowledgeable, down-to-earth and took extra care that all guests felt looked after, as we had separated out to the upstairs deck, downstairs deck and outside. They steered the boat as smoothly as silk. Not for them cheap plonk and party pies. We received the drink of our choice, with carefully crafted cocktails, and canapes of fresh local produce, and plenty of it! They obviously love the area and took special care identifying fauna and flora of interest. The fact that the sun glowed bright red in the sky and reflected in the water because of the bush fires was a special visual extra. Pity our smart phones couldn't do the images justice! Lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Strongly recommend.

      Lovely!
We went on the sunset cruise. What a lovely, relaxing glide through beautiful nature. Simon and Lorraine helped us spot some illusive wildlife and filled us in on local knowledge. The supper was an array of local treats: dips, veg, local salami, cheeses, bread, crisps. Yum! I'm 'wheat-free' and had expected to be excluded but there were plenty of options. Fabulous activity option.

Awesome 2 hours - lots of birdlife
Great way for friends to gather and spend some quality time together. We discovered so much about our natural environment and the importance of marine ecosystems. I would highly recommend a visit and 2hour tour. The morning tea top notch, information informative, boat clean and an easy ride. Five stars - a well worth trip and will do it again.

      Really good
What a wonderful way to finish a weekend camping in Bruswick Heads. A really informative tour led by people who knew the local history as well as being able to share their environmental knowledge. Nice hot tea and coffee with sweet treats also....

      Private Birthday Cruise
I celebrated my 60th Birthday with friends and family on a private sunset cruise on board of the "Jasmine". If there is anyone out there contemplating at the moment - do it!! I could not come up with an idea of how to improve on the experience really. We brought our own cakes, everything else was provided for. I had nothing but positive feed back. Even the kids (10 - 14 years old ) liked it and the little one (18months old ) was provided with a life jacket (cute). Gavin and Rob were very happy to work in with any of my ideas in regard to the timing of the birthday cake/speech, the group photo or the amount of commentary I thought was appropriate. Lorraine was lovely to deal with, generous and reliable during the time of organising the event. It was easy and I am 100% satisfied with the memory we have created.

      A must do
Wow, can I just say that again, wow. This trip was exactly what we were looking for. We were spoilt because we were a groups of five and didn’t have to share. The crew, Simon and Rob, were awesome. Simon was very informative and could spot the wildlife and had the patience answer all of our questions. The snacks and the drinks were all high quality, what is there not to like about this gig. Seriously, the best spent $70 in Brunswick.

My daughter gave me a Morning Cruise voucher for my 80th Birthday, so my wife and I booked on this In January . Being Travel Agents we have toured the World, and found this to be very well done , with local expertise on the river and its flora and fauna. The knowledgeable guys made it extremely interesting and we were able to see many of the birds, fish etc that we would certainly never have been able to see independently. Extremely good coffee and cakes were also served. Well worth the couple of hours or so on this lovely river.

What a delightful way to spend the morning! The commentary was very informative, and the morning tea was great. So many birds were spotted, as we cruised up the beautiful Brunswick River. Would thoroughly recommend this tour, and I'm about to re-book to take my young grand-daughters during the upcoming school holidays.

The morning River Cruise with the boat was one of my highlights in the Byron Shire.
Lorraine was great to help manage my booking, and Simon and the onboard staff had a wealth of knowledge on the river. We enjoyed the information and jokes, and a wonderful morning tea with delicious cakes.
    The scenery was beautiful!
Highlights were spotting the local Kingfishers and a juvenile white-bellied sea eagle.
Would go on the cruise again in a heartbeat, a must for when in the shire!

Our family loved the morning cruise. We had 4 children aged from 4-12. Rob and Simon were great hosts- very informative with recommendations for local businesses and products, including gin and coffee! We would highly recommend this cruise for all ages. It was lovely to offer the kids a different experience on their holiday.
The morning tea was delicious with superb local coffee too.
The large boat is very comfortable with lots of areas for viewing the tranquility of the river
    Thank you Rob and Simon

The cruise was a great learning adventure giving us great insight into the development so Byron Bay. It was great to learn ab out the volcanic eruptions that lead to fertile soil, the rain-forests along the river banks and how the back fires were burnt to clear space and enrich the soil for farming. The bird species native to the region and Australia was also great to learn about.

Last but definitely not least, it was great to experience the beauty of mother nature. The beaches and their warm crystal clear waters and clean sand was amazing and why most people go to Byron Bay. However, it was great to take the time for the river cruise which gives the background for how Byron Bay developed into what it is today and the choices of maintaining such an Eco-friendly place for not only the locals but all visitors.

Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. They personalised the trip to the passengers. The boat is comfortable and allowed good viewing even though it was raining. We saw quite a lot of bird life. I'd go again even if it was just for the best chocolate brownie I've ever eaten! Thank you for a most enjoyable morning.
