Thanks! WHERE WILL I BE PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF? • OPTION #1) HOTEL PICKUP - Most guests are picked up at their hotel, which they can choose from the dropdown list while checking out online during the booking process - full hotel list can also be found on Infinite Oregon Tours' F.A.Q.'s (Frequently Asked Questions) section on our website. In addition to our default pickup location (see option #2 below), we offer pick-ups at approximately 40+ hotels within the downtown area and on the East side of the Willamette river near the Convention Center. The default pickup location listed below (option 2) is ALWAYS available to ALL guests for ALL tours. • OPTION #2) DEFAULT PICKUP LOCATION: SOUTH WATERFRONT PARK ADDRESS: 2001 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. Our central (default) location for pick-ups and drop-offs is in South Waterfront Park at the intersection of SW River Dr. and SW Montgomery St, with the exact pick-up location being on the north side of the traffic round-about circle along the pedestrian walkway adjacent to Riverplace Marina. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T SELECT A HOTEL? - If you do NOT communicate or select your specific hotel when you make your reservation we will assume we will be picking you up at our default pickup location. ADDRESS: 2001 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. It is the guest’s responsibility to notify us (during the booking checkout process) if they are staying at one of our pickup hotels. Please email us at or wait for your confirmation text from your guide the night before your tour if you have any further questions (guides can answer pickup questions) and will text you usually before 8:00pm the night before your tour. Thanks! TOUR VEHICLE (VAN): Your tour vehicle will most likely be a white high-roof Ford Transit 13-passenger van or a mini-van or SUV in some cases (which we'll communicate to you the night before via text from your guide). Your guide will be wearing a big smile and will probably have a clipboard in his or her hand. PARKING: If you are driving your own vehicle to the default pickup location, there is a public parking garage called THE DOUGLAS GARAGE available just a block or so away at: 1835 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. There are several other parking garages within about a 5-10 minute walk if needed. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND/OR BRING ON THE TOUR? Due to the unpredictable and ever-changing weather in this area, we strongly suggest that you check the upcoming forecast for the locations you will be visiting the morning of the tour. By doing so, you will be able to better prepare, bringing extra layers, rain gear and appropriate footwear as needed. For tours involving short walks/hikes, we recommend comfortable walking shoes and layered outerwear that can be easily applied or removed during the outing. It’s worthy of note that the Oregon Coast is often 15-30 degrees cooler than temperatures in Portland (even in the summer). Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge in fall, winter or early spring can also require warm winter jackets or rain jackets (gloves & warm hats are always a good idea too!). Bottom line is it’s always a good idea to bring a jacket in Oregon regardless of season. CAN I BRING A BAG? A small day pack (very small backpack), camera bag, purse or tote bag are fine in the van as long as they can fit by your feet, but we cannot accommodate large suitcases as there is no luggage space or trunk in the tour van. Please call us before the tour if you have any questions. . Depending on the group size for PRIVATE TOURS we CAN accommodate large suitcases (which will be placed in some of the passenger seating areas). COFFEE & RESTROOM (toilet) at default pickup location: There is a small coffee and pastry shop called "Our Spot PDX" (1816 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201) on the west side of SW River Dr. (on the side closest to the river) as well as a public restroom next to the coffee shop for your convenience. If you arrive very early with enough time for breakfast or want to explore the riverfront, there is also a charming cafe called "The Little River Cafe" (315 S Montgomery St #310) approximately a 2-minute walk north along the pedestrian walkway along the Willamette River. Please still be ready at the default pickup stop 30 minutes BEFORE official tour departure time. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Portland is lucky to enjoy a wonderful public transportation system called TriMet that utilizes 3 forms of transport: public buses, street cars and a high speed light rail system called MAX. You can go directly to their TRIP PLANNER WEBSITE at https://trimet.org/home/planner or download their app to your smartphone and it’s very easy to navigate around the city. Our general default tour pick-up location South Waterfront Park is a 3-minute walk from the nearest public bus stop, a 6-minute walk from the nearest streetcar stop and a 10-minute walk from the nearest MAX (lighttrail) station. Many guests choose to utilize Lyft or Uber to arrive at the general pickup location as it's the easiest and fastest and time can be of the essence in the morning before your tour departs. For further questions, please consult our FAQ's link on our website or send us an email at: , or call our office for further questions - . Thanks and happy touring! CANCELLATION POLICY: If a guest cancels 24 hours BEFORE the tour departure time they will receive a full 100% refund. If a guest cancels a tour LESS THAN 24 hours from the tour departure time the guest will not receive a refund, but we will do our best to accommodate the guest on a future tour of equal or lesser value, depending upon availability. If we (Infinite Oregon Tours) need to cancel a tour due to inclement weather, road closures, high winds, unforeseen safety circumstances or otherwise, the guest will receive a full 100% refund. Please email us at or call us at if you have any questions. Thank you!

- El_Gabe_Real0 contributionsSeriously. It was a great time!> Pickup and Drop Off instructions were clear. > Drive to-n-fro was pleasant thanks to fun commentary by the driver > Plenty of time to sight see and walk > In-town dining experience was great! > Bonus perk: Made friends with other tourists! The nice atmosphere of the tour definitely made that happen! > Only regret: Got so immersed that I forgot to get a souvenir.Written October 26, 2024

Our trip was great! the group was fun and engaging and we made new friends! The vehicle was roomy and comfortable, and TJ had a headset that worked well in the van for everyone to hear. The locations we went to were beautiful and TJ shared fun facts, camping stories of the area knowledge. He even showed us some of the wild vegetation that is edible. The half day trip was more like a full day trip but we all had a balst!

Listening to TJ’s wealth of knowledge of the history, geology, and local folklore of the area. This was by far the best part of our stay in Portland. We saw beautiful waterfalls up close and personal with easy access. I would recommend Infinite Oregon Tours for anyone who wants a great day excursion!

We spent 4 very enjoyable hours touring the Columbia River Gorge waterfalls with JT. We were very lucky with the weather and the waterfalls were magnificent. JT is a delightful guide who is very passionate about Oregon and its many natural beauties and has the experience of somebody born and raised locally. He is very knowledgeable and well prepared, and very easy to talk to. We will definitely contact him again if we'll return to Oregon! We highly recommend him.

I had the pleasure of going on the half day waterfalls tour. It was great! TJ knows his stuff and shares his extensive knowledge of local history and geology in an entertaining way. His passion for the area is apparent. We were a small group of 6 and TJ made sure we all got what we wanted. THIS TRIP WAS A BARGAIN, and TJ is an excellent guide.

Very good half day tour. Saw a lot without too much walking.
The guide, Ryan was very professional, and informative. At the end of the tour upon return to Portland he also gave us some restaurant recommendations.
I made the tour reservation at the last minute (the night before), and when I called the tour operator at 9PMish to confirm, the owner answered, and offered to pick me up at my hotel, and gave me the driver's cell number.
Excellent service, good tour.

Anyone with a map and a car could find the natural beauty of the waterfalls of Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge. However, the true reason you should book this tour is to truly understand why these waterfalls are so spectacular. Enter Ryan, our effortlessly knowledgeable and friendly drive and guide from Infinite Oregon Tours. He weaved the million year story of how these wonders came to be as easily and enjoyably as a conversation with your smartest buddy….who also happens to be a geologist and ecologist.
Logistically, booking this tour freed us from dealing with traffic and parking, which at several stops was clearly limited. Ryan communicated before the tour with tips on what to bring, the van was clean and comfortable, there were snacks and water, and everyone on the tour clearly enjoyed the experience.
This half day tour gave enough of a taste of the beauty of the Oregon scenic beauty to leave you wanting more. We’ll be back!

This tour was amazing with beautiful waterfalls and Oregon trivia! My working team of collogues had a 3-day meeting in Portland. We booked a private tour, just the driver and 9 of us. I grew up in Oregon and moved away at 45yo, none of my colleges were from Oregon. Our guide shared some great tips about Portland and a load of Oregon trivia. I was surprised, I learned many things about Oregon I didn't already know. Definitely worth the experience even if you are from Oregon.

Tour guide was good, very informative about Portland as well as Columbia Gorge. Van picked me up on time at my hotel and luckily I was offered the front passenger seat, so very comfortable for me, and I was able to have great views from front and side windows. We saw the most interesting and biggest waterfalls and had short walks to get up close. We were lucky that whenever it rained more than just a little, we seemed to always be in the van en route to a waterfall, so when outside to walk to best views, it was hardly raining (or not raining at all).

My husband and I had an unforgettable experience. From the moment that our tour guide picked us up til the end. Adam went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. He had a great stories to tell us about Oregon, that even local residents didn’t know about, he took us to the best places with nice views to take pictures. The waterfalls were all amazing, the weather was great. At the end we had to vote for our favorite we chose Latourell Falls. Gorgeous place to visit I Highly recommend!!
