    Best tour ever!!!
My husband and I booked a private tour to see the falls and two wineries and it was worth every penny. Sam was our guide, he was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable from the start. We changed things up by going to an extra fall and only one winery, but the outdoors is so worth it. Sam also took us to some local shops and a cute donut shop that had the best Applesauce donuts, it was the first time I tried that flavor, and they were delicious. I’m so happy we booked this tour. It was all day and we got to see so much. Lunch is included. We had a delicious lunch at the winery, the scenery was beautiful and the wines were good. Oregon is beautiful! If you are thinking of booking a tour, do it, you will not regret!

    The Perfect Experience!!
This was THE perfect tour!! I am so thankful I found this tour through Terran Travels while searching in TripAdvisor! My friend and I booked this tour to do during a weekend in Portland for our 50th birthdays. To start with, they were great with the communication. The night beforehand, I received a text from the owner, telling me what time I should meet the shuttle the next morning. Then, the next morning, we discovered there was going to be a marathon right outside our hotel, closing the street we were supposed to meet the shuttle on so when I texted the owner, we were able to figure out a street a block away to meet at. Our driver Dean showed up there and picked us up. Our tour only had 4 other people on it, so it was a nice, small size. Dean was fabulous. He knew all about the history of the area and also told us a little about his history as well-- he's a fascinating person! His delivery of the tons of information he gave us as we drove was perfect- delivered in an interesting, engaging way. We first went to go see Multnomah Falls, which I'd never seen before. Just gorgeous! We had a little time to hit the tourist store, which was great. Then we went to the first winery, Marchesi Vineyards. Very nice outdoor spot with a fire pit. The second winery was Grateful Vineyards, where we discovered a fall festival going on. I could tell Dean had not been aware of this but he handled the hiccup well and still got us a table and told us lunch was paid for. We had a delicious pear pizza, drizzled with balsamic vinegar. After the Grateful Vineyards, we drove to this cool spot near Mount Hood, where you can get out and see the moraine rocks that had been left behind by shifting glaciers years ago. The last stop was the Timberline Lodge, a cool ski area/hotel with lots of neat history. If you're researching winery tours in the Portland area, I highly recommend this group! It's much more reasonably priced than the other options out there and well worth more!

Fantastic time visiting waterfalls and Mt Hood
My wife and I had an amazing time. Marcus was an incredible tour guide, very helpful and informative. We stopped at different places with amazing views, had lunch at a beautiful vineyard with delicious wine and a fantastic pizza. The visit at Mt Hood was very pleasing. The van was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this tour.

    Great day
We had an amazing day with Sam! It ended up being basically a personal tour and he took our requests and we got some extra hiking and waterfalls in.

    Portland city tour
We didn’t think this tour was very good. I think I had higher expectations. I thought we would spend time at the mansion and we were there about 5 minutes. The rose garden was pretty but we didn’t have much time. Our tour guide made some driving errors and took us down a one way road the wrong way. Luckily not much traffic on that road. A family had a baby with them and they were allowed with no car seat on the van. It was a rather disappointing tour.

    Amazing views!
This tour was so fun! I thought it was well planned out and that we had a good amount of time at each stop. Especially the beach. Our guide was Halle and she was very knowledgeable and kind. As a female solo traveler, I felt super safe with our guide and at every location we visited. We got super lucky with the weather and we're treated go some stunning views. I'd definitely recommend this place and I would absolutely try another one of their tours.

    Best tour ever!
If you ever in Portland and you want to have a nice overview of the city and mountains, combined with wine and cider tasting- you can’t find a better place. A tour will take you through the best points of interest, connecting with nature and waterfalls. You get to have the best experience on wine tasting, local Oregon wineries are considered to be the best in the world. Out tour guide Dean was the most knowledgeable person, being able to accommodate everyone’s needs and giving us a very detailed tour on the way. Couldn’t ask for a better service! Next time I’m in Portland I’ll be booking through the same agency!

Amazing tour through vineyards and mt hood
Our guide, Dean, was a born and raised local who knew so much and had such cool stories. It was a hot and sunny day and he never failed to turn on the air conditioning for us before getting in the van. They views were amazing and the food they provided was so great! The two vinyards they took us to were one of the highlights of my whole trip

Really enjoyed my day of wine tasting!
Brittany was a great driver / host for our wine tour. So personable and informative! It was a great day tasting wines from three wineries, which also included lunch. Very informative - learned lots from the winemakers. Didn't realize there was so much to learn about the Willamette Valley! Curiousity is peaked, research being done and pinot noirs are being consumed.

    Wine tour
Driver took us around to 3 different wineries. Tasting fees were not included. Not much information provided on the ride. Fees are essentially for driving services.

Unique wine tasting south of Portland
Cher, our driver, did a phenomenal job! She is very knowledgeable and we had a unique experience at each winery! Marcus, the owner, is very kind and helped us reschedule with our flight delays! We are beyond grateful and had so much fun with this company.

Good Tour but Very Cramped Quarters
We enjoyed the tour, and our guide was excellent. The other passengers made the trip fun. The bus was packed, which the guide said was unusual. I think there were 14 adults, so it was a very cramped experience. The seats are very small - much tighter than an economy seat on a plane - and there isn't any room to place even the smallest bag at your feet. If I take a tour like this again, I'll buy an extra seat for comfort and make sure the tour operator knows I've booked seats together. A bus like this is likely comfortable for 8-10 passengers on an all-day tour.

    Beautiful vistages.
The wineries were amazing and my tour guide very informative and friendly. We also saw lavender, tasted different vinegars and olive oil. We shopped for unique assortments of popcorn and had a fabulous cheeseboard for lunch. Great trip all round.

I enjoyed the tour. We only have 3 travelers in the tour. So it was a small group. Our guide was Halle. She was very knowlegdeable and fun to talk to. The path followed was good; we hit all the main spots (Mt Hood, some Sno area (forgot the name), the Draper Girls farm, Hood River, the Columbia Gorge view, Multnomak falls). The views were awesome and we were lucky that the weather was wonderful that day.

Could have stayed in the parking lot of the Timberline Lodge (maybe just circle around the parking lot a few times until the travelers look around), and gotten more time to view Mt. Hood up close.
The glass on the windows of the van wasn't cleaned properly.
Also, I think the tour description mentioned snacks, but we weren't offered any.

Halle showed us a spectacular time on this tour. It is well worth every penny!
We were the only people on the tour in the morning, however extremely knowledgeable, audio tour of the area, got to make stops and take great photos, and had a wonderful time. I cannot recommend this company enough!

We were doing "our own" road trip of OR & WA and decided to book this tour. It was worth the time and price! What we especially liked was that it was a mini bus, i.e., just us and one other couple, very personal and informative. Besides the STANDARD places to see, our guide (who was a Portland local,) shared EXTRA "what you may want to see" places, e.g. secret waterfall path and history e.g., story of Fremont neighborhood. If you are in Portland and want to "leave the driving to us," we thoroughly recommend this tour. P.S. One special note ... While the season was over, my request to visit a Lavender Farm was added. What a treat!

Marcus was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable and provided great information about the nature, plants, vegetation and history.
Since we were the only 2 people on the tour that day, he customized the adventure to our liking.
It was one of the best tours we took. We had a great day and definitely recommend taking a tour with Terran travels.

Priyanka, thank you for the great review! Marcus was very grateful that he was able to do a lot of hiking with you and Yagya, as this tour doesn't normally involve so much hiking. We hope your seminar went well!
