This was a decent experience, but a bit overpriced. We loved the views while eating dinner, and on the bow of the boat once we finished dinner. At our dinner table we had a card that pointed out landmarks along the way, which was a nice touch. We struggled to reconcile the quality of the dinner, service, and entertainment with the overall price for the excursion. The piano player stopped halfway through the trip. Our food was good, but not great… Think banquet food, like at a wedding reception (we strongly recommend the beef over the fish). Our staff was mostly attentive, but a bit junior in experience. We added 4 drinks and 1 appetizer to our bill while on the boat, but could not justify their suggested 20% tip of over $60 for the evening’s cruise. One last bit of info about something we didn’t know beforehand, and could have taken advantage of: you can bring your own wine bottle(s) onboard and pay a $25 uncorking fee to have it with your dinner.

Everything is pretty blasé. To be fair, I didn't expect to be wowed, just wanted a sit down dinner, which I did receive. A boat ride seemed like a nice addition.
The trouble when you're paying over a $100 per plate, is I get picky. The bread that was supposed to be fresh baked was very hard. Appetizers and dessert are extra, not pricey but I would appreciate to not get the nickel and dime treatment. There is a person taking photographs and selling them after dinner. I'm unsure the cost, we passed.
The liquor list is just as the meal, very basic. Credit where credit is due, the chef did an admirable job getting the dishes out quickly and (I'm guessing) made in a fairly basic boat galley.
We had a decent time, I wouldn't recommend, nor would I go back.

The ride was smooth and the views were fantastic! Dinner was excellent as well. There was a piano player providing live entertainment, which created the perfect atmosphere. There was plenty of room between guest tables and was not overbooked. Overall, a really great experience.

What a delightful evening! The atmosphere is lovely, the live music was nice and the narrative on what you were passing was interesting. You do have to go upstairs to hear the narrative. In hindsight, I wish I had taken my coffee and dessert up there and enjoyed them while listening. The food was tasty. Nice variety. What is amazing? No, but quite enjoyable. Bread and dessert were especially nice. Best part, Morry my waiter! He was a gem, very good service and delightful to chat with. He will do well in life.
Is it a bit odd to do solo? A little, very much parties and couples, but I would do it again. It was very relaxing.

We were able to get same day reservations. The staff and captain were so kind and accommodating. The cruise was a beautiful way to see the lights and sights of downtown Portland during its most beautiful time of day, the evening. Food was great. Try the seafood! Entire event was quiet and romantic!

My adult child and I really enjoyed our evening. The scenery is beautiful and the ambiance in the boat was very nice. Super, super sweet and attentive staff! We ordered the fish which was very fresh tasting and it was cooked correctly…yummy! The couscous had much to be desired. Not much taste and was put on a bed of raw spinach and it was way too much raw spinach and it just didn’t work. We upgraded our dessert and it was really tasty. Thanks for a great, special evening out. I would do it again. Everyone I saw wore masks when not eating. We were well spaced from other dinners and had a large entire table to ourselves.

Server was sweet but inexperienced, bartender was rude and unprofessional. I loved this cruise a few years ago but the value today is just not there for this high price point (cruise, + drinks, + upgrades, + tips).
Management followed up, but the damage is done. We could have used the $400 spent on the cruise for a nice date night elsewhere. Seems like a nice setting for company outings or group events but in my view couples could save their money and get much more elsewhere.

The staff were very friendly and kind which is the positive. In the flip side, we paid $125/ticket and we’re then nickeled and dimed for everything from straws to soda to dessert. Total out the door including the suggested “tip on the entire ticket” was $370. Food was not good. Salad served without dressing, beef tenderloin served cold with cold slab of butter over top, bread was some type with butter already inside of it; desserts were ok. Overall much too expensive for what it was but again nice staff.

My wife and I drove in from El Paso Texas in our West Coast RV 2024 tour. We have stayed in beautiful places along the western coast from Big Sur all the way through half Moon Bay and Turtle Rock Beach. The city of Portland is a gorgeous place and this dinner cruise was absolutely The! On our arrival. We loved the views and the amazing Summer Snow. The food was delicious and in abundance. The drinks were made exactly the way we expected and the bottle of Cabernet was 1st class. Mori, the Cruise Director, was coincidentally our waiter. He was the best part of all. His attention to detail, willing to accommodate, and even his sense of humor was awesome. And he looke like my brother in law.
Anyway, I highly recommend this as part of anyone stop who is visiting Portland.

Nice cruise, beautiful views, live pleasant music.
Was a bit hot in the beginning. I booked for extra 45 dollars table near the window.
Why 4 and not 5 - food was good, but not delicious, our waitress was pleasant, but was forgetting about us and our food and drinks pretty often, so sometimes we were waiving for a long time to attract her attention.
And when she brought bill - there were suggested percents from ALL sum - to pay 18% or 20% or 22% from price for the ship, gas, oil, location near the window, picture, that the guy makes before entrance. Surprised. Smth like 55 USD tip for rather modest dinner with 1 glass of wine ( I was with kids). So I calculated in head how much can all our food and drinks cost and I think gave rather big tip for this. But waitress didn't look happy. I think tips should include only food and drinks.

My daughter will be turning 13 and I’m wonder how much a cake would be ? If I reserve and if you make them. We would be traveling from Washington

My dad is extremely allergic to seafood - like, will go into anaphylaxis. I need to be sure he can safely eat on this cruise. Do you keep the seafood separate from other foods during storage and preparation?

Do you order from a menu or is it one option for dinner?

What’s the dress attire?

Business casual. Not too fancy, not too laid back. If you dress up some jeans you’ll be fine.

The parking lot allow motorhome (30")? just to park during the dinner cruise...
Written November 14, 2019
Unfortunately, it is all street and lot parking. You might be hard-pressed to find a place to park a motorhome. Our website has a parking suggestion map if you are interested.
