Portland Food Tour in Slabtown and Alphabet Neighborhoods

Dine around Portland in the evening with this food and drink tour in the Northwest Portland Slabtown and Alphabet District neighborhoods. This walking tour will take you to five different restaurants where you'll get to try wine, pasta, Asian fusion food, and dessert. The tour ends at a craft brewery where you'll get to round off your culinary experience with a pint on the house.

What to Expect

Our Neighborhood Food and Drink Tour will show you why Portland is one of the top food destinations in the US and why our residents have a reputation for being particularly knowledgable about food and drink!

We'll kick off our tour at a local wine tasting room, where you'll taste three different wines and learn about wine production in Oregon!  Next, we'll head to a cozy neighborhood spot famous for its homemade pasta and then an Asian fusion spot (very on-trend in Portland right now) which includes a unique cocktail infused with lemongrass and kaffir lime.

Then, it's time for dessert! We'll sample some authentic French crepes in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it location that encapsulates Portland’s famous kooky style.

Of course, no visit to Portland is complete without a visit to a craft brewery and we'll round out our experience with a pint at one of the city's hippest brewpubs. Stick around for another pint (or two!) after the tour, if you'd like.

The tour isn't just about the food and drink, however. As you wander between stops, your guide (a born-and-bred Portlander) will share some fun facts about the history of the city. For example, see if you can guess how the streets you’re walking on are connected to connected to Portland’s past that will surprise you!
