          Portland falls tour
We had just 3 days to tour Portland and we booked this half day tour. No regrets booking it and was worth it. We were able to see the various falls and our guide Jay was well versed. Would highly recommend this tour!

It was an amazing experience. Had we not taken this trip, we might have missed some falls along the way. Our guide was so knowledgeable of Oregon. 💯 recommend.

          Meanwhile on Mount Hood...
What a great day with Phil our guide! Just the right amount of tour commentary and then business continuity when our transport went suspect, to get the replacement available ASAP. Multnomah Falls was great, but the highlight of the day was Mount Hood with so much snow. Great views and pics taken! Take this tour and as long as the weather is not too wet - you'll enjoy it....

          Okay Experience
Not a good value for money. Phill, the tour guide was great. The bus was comfortable but we spent majority of our time just driving around. Very little time spent at the actual spots. Spots are great but couldn’t spend more that 20-30 mins anywhere … pretty steep I must say

          Gorge-ous Day at the falls!
We had a wonderful trip to Columbia River Gorge Falls! Phil was an excellent tour guide and full of great information. We are thrilled that we chose to take this trip while in town for a conference and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area! Thanks again for an excellent experience!

          Great Half Day Trip!
Angela was a fantastic guide who kept us engaged the whole trip! We saw an incredibly clear double rainbow at the Vista House, and all of the waterfalls were gorgeous. Would absolutely recommend this tour.

          Fun Day Out
We had a great time on the tour. It was a wonderful way to get out of Portland, see some sights, and learn about the area in a relatively short amount of time. Our guide Phil was very knowledgeable and was mindful of the group’s interests and pace. If you’re in the area, take the tour.

          Excellent Tour
Our tour guide, John, started our day out perfectly with an on time arrival, and it just got better from there. Stops at the waterfalls were amazing. Stories and local knowledge made the trip go by so quickly. Excellent recommendations for lunch, too. This was a great tour!

Book this tour! You'll be glad you did!
In one day, I felt that I saw so much of what beautiful Oregon has to offer! Our tour guide (John) was so knowledgeable about the area and its history, and was very friendly and accommodating. We saw numerous waterfalls (including Multnomah Falls, which exceeded my expectations), stopped at many scenic overlooks, visited the Timberline Lodge, stopped in Hood River, and enjoyed a scenic drive and incredible views throughout. I would highly recommend it!

          Great introduction to Portland
We really enjoyed this morning tour, and it gave us a great overview of Portland. Angela our tour guide was very welcoming and friendly. She provided interesting commentary as we drove around the city and was able to stop for photos and a closer look. The view from the Pittock mansion is not to be missed.

Our guide was more of a nice taxi driver than professional tour guide. He knew very little about Portland. We were very disappointed. Based on other reviews written here, we thought we were in for an interesting, informative experience. His microphone did not work. The van stopped on a steep hill and stalled. He basically drove us places, dropped us off, and told us what time to be back at the van. This tour was way too expensive for what it provided to us.

It was a perfect tour to get a taste of both the city and nature. Our tour guide shared plenty of interesting information about Portland and was very friendly. We toured the city from 9am to around 1PM or so. Then we took an hour of lunch break, tried some great food from the food trucks in downtown Portland. After lunch drove out of the city was saw 3 waterfalls, Multnomah Falls being the best of all of them. We were back in downtown Portland around 5PM.

Marcus was very informative and nice, the city has a lot to see and do, a bit overwhelming if you're from the midwest or south with all the cultural differences, the shops are a must do in town, and the voodoo doughnuts are overrated as as well as the ice cream place called something and straw. People are into hiking, biking, yoga, nature, organic and a bit high tech GenX for me, but the sightseeing on the bus with friendly people and listening to all that Portland has was worth the 8 hours. The chocolate place was yummy and the waterfalls and gorge were spectacular to see as Gods creations. We stayed at the Shilo but had to drive 4 miles to get picked up. There are 22 bridges so if you don't like them, don't go to Portland, it is amazing all the ways Lyft can manage to get thru the bumper to bumper traffic, as that was frustrating. Food trucks are the way to go because Jacks is expensive and the food is just so so. But the tour is a must.

Fabulous tour and we were lucky to have a partially sunny day. Gunnar was a very knowledgeable guide and it was obvious he loves Portland and the Gorge. His enthusiasm was contagious. Plus he had some great historical context for the places we visited. The Chinese gardens were extraordinary. Also loved the tram on the Portland State campus. Great panorama! Originally we had only booked the city tour, not even knowing about the Gorge tour. As soon as we found out Gunnar was doing it, we signed up. So glad we did! We saw so much and the roads to the Multnomah Falls had just re-opened. Also saw Bridal Veil Falls, Latourell Falls, Shepperd's Dell Falls and the Vista House. Magnificent! Plenty of time to walk around at each stop. Very worthwhile. Pick up and drop off at the Hotel. So convenient.

This tour was so good! It is a must for anyone who is visiting Portland, especially if it's your first time. The morning begins with a tour of the different waterfalls, which are absolutely breathtaking. The afternoon portion is a city tour; the only down part about this is most of the city tour is spent on the van, driving by places. We did stop at the Chinese Gardens and a few other places, but I wish it was more walking around the city. Shout out to Carrie, my tour guide! She was amazing, funny, and knowledgeable of the city.

This tour is definitely worth every penny! It gives you the perfect balance of city and nature! We spent the morning exploring downtown, the rose garden, the outlook of the city, and ended with lunch at the food carts! The afternoon consisted of chasing waterfalls! Our tour guide Scott took us to the most amazing waterfalls. It was crazy beautiful! I’m recommending this tour to all of my friends! The pictures are worth a thousand words.

We spent an extremely enjoyable day visiting the Columbia Gorge area and the city highlights. Crystal was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about the history of the area and able to answer everyone’s questions. Her happy and calm personality ensured that the day went very smoothly. We were picked up from our hotel and travelled in a very comfortable small bus and with a small group.
We would absolutely recommend this tour, especially if you don’t have long in Portland but want to get a real feel for its beauty and diversity. And if you are lucky enough to get Crystal as your guide, you will be more than satisfied.
