- How safe is the Oklahoma City Indoor Skydiving Experience?
- The unique design of the wind tunnel, with its wall-to-wall air column, along with certified and highly-trained instructors, allows you to safely enjoy your flight. Your instructor is with you the entire time regardless of your level of experience.Answered May 2021
- What is a Wind Tunnel?
- Very simply, a wind tunnel is a machine that moves a lot of air. A vertical wind tunnel moves air in a vertical column at speeds high enough to keep a person safely floating.Answered May 2021
- How early should I arrive for the Oklahoma City Indoor Skydiving Experience?
- It is important that you arrive on time for your scheduled session. Your experience will begin promptly upon your arrival so please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your reservation so you have time to check in.Answered May 2021

- Jack J0 contributionsFantastic Experience! What a great time! Our family had such a fun time! The staff was great! Our instructor was wonderful! Only problem is that they need to inform their guests when they decide to change their schedule. 11:00 reservations and they don't open until 12:00.Written March 1, 2022
- melissabB2460FT0 contributionsConsidering skydiving? This is a good start. It aids in building your confidence. We spent a wonderful afternoon at iFly. The staff were great from check in to the flight trainers. It was a bit pricey but worth it for a fun afternoon. Our package included two photos and two videos. Relaxing the body is key here, yogi’s and those who meditate should do well. I did. 😊👍🏾Written August 24, 2020
- rdubbs080 contributionsHigh-Flying Fun!Having wanted to give this a try for a while, we finally found a reason in a very unexpected place, our toddler's 4th birthday! My wife suggested it, as we opted not to do a party. I didn't believe her that kiddos that small could do it until I checked out the iFly website - sure enough, ages 3 and up! We pre-purchased a deal they had on the website. A lot of people have complained about the cost...yes, it is a bit pricey, but it is a unique experience and cheaper than actually sky diving. There are coupons and deals to be found if cost is your biggest barrier. After arriving and checking-in, we got suited up, watched a short video and into the fly tube we went. Our instructor, Michael, was great. We thought we'd be in the minority having a kiddo with us, however, I was actually the ONLY adult in our session! As an added surprise, our 4 year old LOVED it - he did not get scared or even second guess himself. He was ready to fly like a super-hero! My only real complaint is the up-charge for the "high fly." I highly recommend doing this (pun intended) as it adds the real fun and value to the experience. Rather than an additional charge, they should figure out how to just build this into the cost. I had a lot more fun than I thought I would and we will definitely be back!!!Written March 25, 2020
- 661hankp0 contributionsMust do! Top of the list for fun in OKC.The world class team here delivers a world class experience. Great place to experience bodyflight for the first time - or to take on an awesome new hobby and sport.Written March 6, 2020
- nfullner0 contributionsAwesome! This was a very FUN activity to do while visiting the Okc area. My three kids, ages 14, 20 & 22 had a great time(one whom had skydived in the past). I watched and video taped them which is completely fine with the staff! You may purchase a video of your flight afterwards if you choose. There is also a virtual reality option and a high flyer option . The staff and instructors were super friendly and knowledgeable. You may find a coupon online to help with the cost.Written August 23, 2019
- tjs11010 contributionsFun but too expensiveIt was fun but the prices are outrageous compared to the amount of time you get. It's worth doing once in your life but that's it.Written July 3, 2019

- mho940 contributionsBest IFLY experience ever at OKC.I’ve been to IFLY at other locations so was using the return package to bring my family. Staff and experience were the best I’ve had. Instructor lesson was great. We got the video lesson but he also have great tips and a good demo hands on demo for us to calm our fears. Once in the tunnel, he customized each experience to the needs of everyone in our party as we were varying skill levels. Yes some of us were better than others.. :-) Ask for instructor Mike - he was the best IFLY instructor I ever had. Wish I could have that at my home based IFLY. :-) Also, don’t forget to buy the return package from her. It’s the best $ in the country and can be used in any location. I stocked up!Written April 19, 2019
- Lauren S0 contributionsIfly.Had a great time and had a great instructor. Only thing I noticed was the suits were hung back up after flights. I watched every person wipe their spit snot on the sleeve. Flu season is no joke. Wish they would wash after each person.Written March 23, 2019

I have been a total of 3 times and have loved it each time. So much fun and very exciting. It can be a little intimidating at first but after the first flight you are ready to do it again. Great for all ages. My granddaughter was 7 when I took her and my 60 year old friend loved it as well.

I took my little brother here to fly, and for the massive amount of money you pay to get to fly, you only get a few short minutes. If you have a couple hundred to throw around, might be better worth it. Overall, we were disappointed in what you get for the cost.

Way over priced. You get to be in the tunnel for like a minute per flight. If you want to go higher that's an extra ten dollars per person. You spend more time listening to a video, putting on your gear than actually getting to do anything fun. Complete waste of money. And then they try to up sell you on everything. It was very annoying.

Our 12-yr old daughter would love to skydive (I’ve jumped once). Her iFly instructor, Hank, was extremely knowledgeable, worked well with all ages of flyers to put them at ease for maximum enjoyment and is just the nicest guy you’ll meet! Our daughter is eager to return to continue her skills training & we’ll be sure to book in advance with Hank! Take advantage of the post-flight offers for future visits, they never expire and are deeply discounted! Thanks, Hank & iFly OKC!

We took our family to ifly on our way to a family reunion. It was something we had always wanted to try. It was a good experience but call first. There is only one wind tunnel so at times it can get backed up. They do appointments in 30 minute increments. The trainers are well trained and entertaining. It is costly however. It was fun but probably not something I would do again.

We had $100 in gift cards given to my sons at Christmas. We were finally able to use them. Signed in online and got to the place where they said they wouldn’t honor them. After threatening to just cancel and ask for a refund they allowed the use of the gift cards. Once our boys did their first flight the man came over and said there was time for one more and said it was $10 per child and pointed upwards in a way we assumed meant to have them go again. Figuring we could afford an additional $20, we allowed our two boys to do another turn. When we went to pay for the turn, it was not $20, it was $42! His reasoning was that when he “pointed up” and my husband said yes, that was us agreeing to another high flight. That to me is shady business. We didn’t agree to a high fly. We were agreeing to a $10 fly for each boy.
Completely put a bad taste in our mouths. We will never return and will share about our experience each time ifly comes up!

I had so much fun. The extra HighFly is a must. I’m a littler older then the others I was with and wondered if I would do okay....and I did!! I left feeling very accomplished. This was a lot of fun. Almost therapeutic! :)
I’m looking into some of their other adventures. I highly recommend this. It’s great fun for all ages. Even old ladies. Haha.

First time family group of 6. Efficient check in, suit up & training. Flight instructor Diego was patient & willing to answer questions and kept process moving along. We didn’t feel like we were waiting unnecessarily at any point.
Diego worked with each person equally, and allowed those who caught on faster to do more activities during their turn (let’s face it, some people were naturals at the activity). I especially appreciated Diego’s patience with my son with Down syndrome. He provided additional support & assurance to give him the best experience.
Also appreciated that sales person identified some extras available because of our group size at no additional cost and restructured package for our benefit.
In other reviews, reviewers mention upselling. Diego communicated passes available if purchased during our visit and an upcoming all-ability day my son with DS might enjoy. I didn’t feel it was high pressure sale, but just communicating what was available. When we explained we lived out of town, there was no pressure at all.
I would highly recommend this experience.

I fly, no pun intended, the Oklahoma City tunnel fairly often. This trip, I flew with Instructor Hank Prester, who is not only an iFLY Instructor, but also an Accelerated Free Fall Course Instructor at a nearby dropzone in Cushing, Oklahma. His knowledge and experience truly makes him a blessing for me, and if you are considering entering skydiving as a sport, iFLY is an excellent opportunity to learn to fly your body without the considerations of altitude awareness or landing preparation. It has been a true confidence builder as a prelude to beginning an Accelerated Free Fall Course for me, and I cannot praise Mr. Priester enough for his coaching and patience.

What is the highest point they will allow for their basic entrance fee is it like 5 feet off the ground? I keep seeing here about going higher at an additional cost and if so what is considered as "higher" ???
Written August 13, 2019
You’re in a vertical wind tunnel. It’s about 12’ X 20’ The basic height of the first flight about 5ft or so. You fly twice. You’re with an instructor and he is helping you learn to be level and making sure you are “flying” and not crashing. You are flying low the first flight. The 2nd flight, you are still with an instructor but flying high about 12 to 15 feet. You’re flying up and down and turning. It is very much worth the $10. In fact I think they should just raise the price by $10 and include it. It is a point of confusion and question, should I or shouldn’t I pay extra and fly high? Absolutely pay the ten bucks and enjoy the extra height. I loved it. Doing it again soon.
