As a lover of native wildlife this was a 5 star location and experience. In the carpark we were treated to a local wombat (a free ranging one!) ambling across a snow covered parcel of ground. Our tour guide inside was very informative and we learned much from him during the approx 1 hour tour of various Devil enclosures and then on to the Quolls. The location was perfect and the Devil's we re all very cute indeed.

We did the 3pm day keeper tour and it was thoroughly fascinating. Our guide, Chris, was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about the conservation of the devils and quolls. A very informative afternoon that we highly recommend! It’s also great that the ticket cost goes towards the facility.

This was better than I thought it would be. We did the basic tour, which meant that we could stay as long as we liked. We were also able to join the basic guided tour of the facility. It was a superp guided day tour by a very knowledgeable guide.
So impressed with the fact that this place is helping in a small way to help save endangered animals. The Devils and 2 species of quolls. They also help with other injured animals where they can and at the time of our visit had a wombat in residence.

We had a really knowledgeable guide. Answered all our questions. There were loads of animals. We were worried about going in day and not at feeding time but they have so many, chilling out in the sun and playing. Easy viewing for out little kids.

We did the day keeper tour at 3pm. We learnt so much from the guide - she had so much knowledge about the Devils, quolls & wombat there. We got some great photos & it was entertaining watching the devils interact with each other. Great value & give a senior discount.

Rory gave us a true insight into these unique creatures, & he had such compassion towards them. We expected them to all be asleep as we missed the night show, but during the day they are very active and easier to spot too.

We drove past our accommodation (Cradle Mtn Highlander Cottages) to do a bit of exploring.
We felt weary from a bit day out, it was misty rain, about 4°C, and late afternoon... so we didn't plan on seeing or doing anything much... and then we stumbled across this gem!
We joined a small tour group already in progress (making us a total of 7 people).
Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient, answered all of our questions, and gave us many opportunities to photograph the Australian native wildlife.
Despite the wet, we saw plenty of creatures who were only too willing to pose and get up close and personal with us for a photo.
The enclosures are excellent and perfectly accommodate their residents as well as provide visitors with a perfect vantage point to see them.
This was really a hidden treasure and well worth a visit for anyone wanting to see rare Australian wildlife.

Our guide was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and informative. Highly recommend a visit here. The Devils were active and got lots of great pictures of them. Commend the work they are doing to reintroduce them back to the wild with healthy population projections!!
