Overview
The Skye High is a wee gem. Ideal for travelers short on time who want to get the most out of their trip to Scotland. All the best stuff is packed in: Nessie hunting, ruined castles, stunning Lochs and dramatic mountains. All this as you listen to tales of Celtic myths and legends before a couple of great nights in a Highland pub. Then there is the star of the show - the beautiful Isle of Skye.
Highlights
  • See Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, Glencoe, and more highlights on a budget
  • Sample Scotch whisky at a Highland whisky distillery
  • Learn local legends and Highland history from your guide
  • Enjoy two night’s stay in shared dorm-style accommodation
What to Expect
On the first day, make your way through Macbeth country to Dunkeld with its medieval cathedral. After sampling Highland whisky at a distillery and learning how Scotch is made, travel to Inverness. Then follow the length of Loch Ness—look out for the Loch Ness Monster along the way—to Fort Augustus, where you bed down in your dorm-style shared accommodations.
Day two brings you to the Isle of Skye, known as the “winged isle” or “Isle of Mist.” Admire windswept landscapes, rugged coastline, towering mountains, and ruined castles as your guide explains exactly their significance.
On day three, say farewell to Loch Ness. Pass Ben Nevis, Glencoe, and Stirling, scene of many of Scotland’s bloodiest battles. Learn tales of local legends such as William Wallace and Robert the Bruce as you return to Edinburgh.

Incredible three day tour of the Isle of Skye. Really amazing sites and an outstanding tour guide: Michael. Would definitely recommend this tour, and if the weather is nice, see if you can squeeze in a trip to the Fairy Pools.

Michael is a boss, best tour guide ever. Everything else paled in comparison of this Scottish Adonis of a man. And Everything was great, from the sights to the itinerary. That's how much Michael rocked it.

As the title suggests: Fiona rocks as a guide. Highly recommended. Hairy cows make everything better.
