The winery is well laid out with beautiful buildings, garden areas, and an explanation of its history. The wine tasting options are great. 2023 Grenache Rose is excellent as are most of their reds. A great deli option is available for light food choices. Well worth a visit.

We had the lovely Rebecca as our guide and her enthusiasm for wine was infectious and our whole group got into the wine tasting. She was very knowledgeable and injected lots of humour into her presentation. Very good wine and tasty food in the restaurant. Highly recommended

On a trip through Adelaide we visited with a friend who lives locally. The wines are good and Julie gave a very informative and friendly overview - thanks Julie! Afterwards we had lunch in the restaurant - very nice!

The aim of my day was to take overseas guests, who had never seen a vineyard, on a wine tasting experience. We had a tight schedule as we had to pick up guests from a cruise ship, get them to the winery and get them back to the ship by 3.00pm. Rowan and the other staff at Wirra Wirra couldn't have been more helpful. Our guest was late getting off the ship but the staff adjusted all the time frames so he was able to go on a Trotts Tales experience, see the Scrubby Rise Vineyard, learn about the history and the wine making process and of course taste beautiful wines with an accompanying fruit and cheese platter. We then went through to Harry's Deli where they prioritised our order so that we had time to eat our beautiful meal before we had to head back to the ship. Without the support and flexibility of the Wirra Wirra staff our day would have been a disaster. Instead it was an experience that our overseas guest will never forget!!

Dropped in for a quick bite. Tuesday lunch time but not that busy. From web order to final service 34 minutes for x2 panini and x1 hot dog is very slow. Plus there was 5 minutes between paninis. Food ok bit a bit over priced

We spent a few hours here sampling the shiraz and enjoyed the surroundings food and all the staff throughout were super friendly. Wine was good and we enjoyed the shiraz sampling and food was tasty and filling. The tuna salad was pretty yum!

Came for a wine tasting because we were in the area, nearby Serafino was absolutely lovely so we were in good spirits. German lady at the bar (Freida) was very dismissive, when prompted for a bit of information about the wine she had recommended she gave us the Title only and walked away. Still not sure what we tried but it was lovely. Thank you Freida. Prompted us with an eftpos machine a minute after sitting down. We obvious didn't stay long.

Fantastic birthday celebration at a wonderful venue. Food and wine were perfect for the mixed dietary requirements we had. 100% recommend this venue. All staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable but I must say Mon did a fantastic job looking after our table. Many thanks

We arranged a family special birthday lunch for my husband. Loved the venue. Great views of the lawn area and vineyards. The food and wines was superb and the staff were very friendly and professional. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful place inside and out. Very good service. Wine was good and I like the idea of placing the the one on sale near the entrance. Impressive place.

What a fantastic afternoon @Wirra Wirra. One must appreciate the work and effort that goes into such a place. This was our first time here and what a magical experience. As soon as you enter this Winery it feels welcoming, warm and inviting. The staff greeted us straight away and they were so polite, friendly and up for a chat. My father and l were seated and proceeded to order wine and my father ordered Son of Trott Pie and l ordered the Confit Duck Leg w/Asian salad. To wash the meals down l ordered a bottle of Rose and a Sav Blanc for dad. The meals and wine were absolutely fantastic and our 2hrs there was absolutely superb. Thank you to the staff, chefs and establishment.

We had lunch here and did one of the wine tasting. Lunch was very good. The servings were large and the service was fairly quick, given it was a Sunday and busy. The wine tasting was also enjoyable. There is a variety to choose from and the staff are very knowledgeable. There is no pressure to buy any wine, although of course we did! Would recommend this winery if you are in the area.

We did the Trott’s Tales winery tour and tasting this morning. Had a wonderful time. Our host Lena was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. We saw the creek, cricket ball, catapult, resident vineyard dog and got to ring the bell then enjoyed a lovely wine tasting by the fire. Great morning and highly recommend it. Looking forward to our case of wine arriving when we get home.

Popped in for a wine tasting having previously been there for lunch (which was just beautiful). Staff were lovely and friendly and the information about the history of the area, the vineyard and the wine was really good, as was the wine itself. This winery is one of the top tourist spots and can get very busy but we were lucky to have missed the crowds and were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and buildings without feeling rushed at all. FYI be advised that the cost of the tasting is not taken off if you make a purchase, unlike some other wineries. Still a lovely place to head to in a fantastic wine area

Visited with a friend on our last stop of the day during a girls day in McLaren Vale. We were lucky to be able to get a booking same day as the whole area was immensely busy! Enjoyed one of the wine tastings and purchased a bottle to sit outside and drink in the sun. Lovely, friendly service throughout the tasting. Would be back to try more and maybe stay a little longer!
