      Run around
First of all I want to start off by saying that I've been a loyal customer for 3 years. However, this excursion was cancelled due to weather and reschedule.. The company of which it was outsource to, reschedule it for two days later. The day we were scheduled for the excursion the company never followed up with us the day before or the day off. Called Viator for my refund and got the "im sorry" runaround along with the policy and procedures excuse. This was one of three excursions I booked with Viator and they all were either cancelled or the company never showed up. I've decided that moving forward I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Be very careful when booking through Viator. They have no problem taking your money but hide behind the policy and procedures when you want your refund.

Great experience to Tulum and Coba
I enjoyed my trip with Alltour Native. The tour guide, Rafael, was very knowledgeable and proficient in English, Spanish, and even Mayan. He knows a lot of history about the ancient Mayan ruins we visited. We stopped at several places on our tour. The first was the ancient coastal city of Tulum. Tulum means “Wall or Fortification”. Tulum is very beautiful. I posted a picture below showing a beach at the Mayan site. There is a lot of history at Tulum and Mayan ruins to explore. My tour guide, Rafael, mentioned previously, suggested we walk to El Castillo, the palace on the coast, and stand before the sea, give thanks and try to feel a spiritual connection to the past. The highest point for the Mayans was a spiritual place. In our modern materialistic world, we are losing that connection. We stopped at an ancient cenote where a Mayan priest prayed for a safe trip home. The cenote was very cold to swim in. The cenote is located in Jungls Mayas native park, a Mayan community. Next, we stopped at the ancient city of Coba. There is much to see at Coba. Archeologists have only excavated a small part of Cob. There is still more to learn but you will learn a lot while visiting there. Nohoch Mul, the highest temple in the Peninsula of the Yucatán was closed to the public due to covid but is available to climb post-covid. I did not climb it this time but I did climb the temple when I visited prior in 2018. The view is well worth the climb and you get to touch a piece of history as you grab onto the stones while your tracking up the temple. Since we booked a trip with Alltour Native, we were able to cut through lines with tickets already bought for us by Alltour Native and thus, spend more time at the locations. The trip takes about all day. Overall, we enjoyed this tour with Alltour Native and I highly recommend them to anyone visiting the Yucatán Peninsula who is interested in learning about the past. If you book a tour with Alltour Native, ask for Rafael. In addition to taking pictures and visiting historical sites, you will learn much about life, history, society, nature, art, human nature, and much more. Who could ask for anything more?

      Highly Recommend!
Our guide was Israel (not sure on spelling) and I am not exaggerating when I say HE DID IT ALL! He picked us up at our hotel in a van, drove us to Tulum from Cancun, stopped at a gas station for bathroom and snack breaks, taught us how to use the equipment, acted as our rappelling/zip-lining/snorkeling expert, did all the activities with us, educated us about Myan culture, served us lunch, drove us to the ruins, acted as our guide, drove us back to our hotel in Cancun. It was really nice to stick with one guide all day. He was very kind and knowledgable in every aspect, we always felt safe. One part of the tour was swimming in a cave which was the coolest parts of the entire thing and it felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity! Lunch was surprisingly good and we had a ton of fun! There is another review here about a passenger vehicle with an open top that was problematic, however we never saw this type of vehicle and stayed with/in our van (7 of us plus 2 new people we shared the tour with) the entire time. We stayed as small group throughout the tour and even though there were other groups at the adventure location, it really did feel like a private tour. It was well worth the money for such an involved excursion, and we made sure to tip our guide well! The only thing that we didn't love was that the picture package at the end of the tour was REALLY expensive! They took pictures throughout the whole experience and we are suckers for a good cheesy vacation picture but they were priced by the size of the group. For 7 people, I believe it was right around $250 for the package with single prints being $30 (extra for the frame). The couple we were with bought the package because it was a more reasonable price to front for 2 people compared to 7.

      Awesome, fun tour
Awesome, fun tour of a beautiful and unique place! Our guide, Alan, was fun, friendly, and informative. A great way to experience a bit of Mayan culture and food while exploring an amazing underground cenote with crystal clear waters. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience - thank you Pablo
Many thanks to our tour guide, Pablo, who made the tour very educational and absolutely fun. He taught us many things about the archaelogical sites, the language, and the Mayan people. Pablo was also very understanding of the needs of our group (we traveled with my baby cousin). Ek Balam was one of our favorite things during our time in Mexico, and it’s an absolute must-see. It is wonderful to see the restoration and ongoing excavation going on! Cenote Maya was one of the best experiences - I was scared to rapel but Pablo and the team there made me feel safe and I had sooo much fun. Last thing is the delicious food we were served. The best thing I ate in this trip.. better, MUCH better, than resort food. The only thing I wished was different was to travel in a cooler van because it was a super hot day and the AC was not enough for everyone. YU’UM BOOTIK!

      Tulum and Coba Ruins
Very fun day out. Pablo speaks multiple languages and is very knowledgeable. He is also punctual, friendly and cabale with the locals. We enjoyed his tour of the Tulum ruins, a sacred ceremony in a very hidden and beautiful Cenote, and an afternoon of fun at Coba ruins. Would recommend this adventure for a full day of fun!

      Incredible
Wonderful tour! Our guide was Anita and our driver was Ramon and they were an amazing duo! Anita was very knowledgeable about the ruins and gave the perfect amount of history of information and made the tour super fun. We had an hour of free time at Ek Balam which was perfect for climbing the pyramid and exploring the jungle. The lunch at the cenote was delicious and rappelling into it was so cool! Ramon was a great driver and kept us safe and cool on our journey and made sure our belongings were safe in the van. I also appreciated Alltournative’s dedication to eco tourism including a refillable jug for water bottles. Overall an incredible tour and I would 100% book with Alltournative again. Thank you Ramon and Anita for making our first excursion an unforgettable one.

      Amazing time snorkeling!
Had an amazing time snorkeling. Our tour guide, Geo, was fantastic. He was informative, had great information to share, and took good care of the group. The traditional lunch afterwards was a big shocker...it was delicious! Overall a great time, and would highly recommend. Only tip, bring a swimming shirt as you're not allowed to wear sunscreen when out by the corals.

      Best tour guide ever!!!
My wife, my daughter and I went on a tour to Ek Balam and Cenote Maya and had Eli as our guide - what an absolutely incredible time we had. The ruins were wonderfully interesting and we especially enjoyed the cenote as well as the ceremony (authentic and personal) and food (delicious chayitas and flavoured water with cardamom). However, the tour was made perfect thanks to our amazing guide Eli! He was everything we could have wanted - efficient and well-organised, friendly, entertaining, extremely educated and knowledgeable. It was a perfect balance of providing us with the attention we needed as well as leaving us to explore and enjoy the journey ourselves. It felt as if he really had a personal passion and excitement for the Mayan culture and history, plus he spoke very naturally so it didn't sound as if he was just reading from a script. What can we say - we couldn't have asked for a better tour guide and he is the best we have had compared to any previous holiday (ranging from The Grand Canyon and Egypt to Sicily and the castles of Scotland)! He truly deserves to receive as much praise as possible and All Tour Native should feel lucky to have him as part of their team. Muchas gracias Eli - fantastico!

On this particular trip we were a group of 15. We were a little tight in our van but half way through our day trip our tour guide Francisco "Paco" Flores upgraded our vehicle to a bigger more comfortable one. This was just one of many positive comments I have for our guide "Paco". His patience and driving skills are excellent. I sat in front and chatted with him the whole time. He was very friendly and responsive. At Chichenitza his passion for archeology, tour guiding, and the local people and culture become apparent. He gave us a well guided, and in depth tour of the site which I will remember for a long time to come. The Cenote was amazing from the repel down to the zip line inside. For the less adventurous there are stairs down, or a ramp down to the amazing, clear, cool, water. I truly believe the tour guide makes the difference between an OK time or an amazing time. So.... if you want an amazing time try and catch a ride with "Paco" Flores.

If you are visiting the Riviera Maya or Cancún, I recommend utilizing the company Alltournative for your day-trips when available and priced competitively. Their Cenote Maya and 'Native Park' was developed exclusively for their own use and will likely leave you feeling a little underwhelmed on its own. My recommendation is to find a day-trip that combines these attractions with an archaeological tour. Alltournative is an above-average organization of integrity encouraging sustainable tourism, which is why I recommend them over other similarly priced companies.

The park employs local residents and and the company works with local communities on methods for recycling non-biodegradable materials like plastic and rubber. They take care to respect both the environment and the beliefs of the local Maya, performing a ritual purification ceremony before entering the cenote and strictly forbidding all electronics. While their reason for banning phones and cameras is a practical one (not poisoning the local water supply!), they do take advantage of the scenario by taking and selling professional pictures of your descent into the cenote. You are not obligated to buy anything, but any money you spend will go back into the local economy and local Maya communities. Despite being a little overpriced, it is worth considering a photo memento for this reason.

The cenote experience is like many others. Most people will rappel from the opening at the top down into the water, though they do offer a tunnel entrance for the faint of heart. They serve a local, organic, vegetable-forward lunch with unlimited fresh tortillas and aguas frescas. There are many similar cenotes and eco-parks in Yucatán, so what sets this one apart from the rest is the company behind it. Their respect of the environment and the community, as well as their focus on sustainability, have made me a repeat customer. Their cenote is enjoyable (if unremarkable), but the company offers some excellent combined tours that are worth exploring while you are visiting the region.

Our tour guide, Alex, was a wealth of information and cordiality. This is a full day of exploring both Tulum and Coba, finding them just different enough to keep one's keen interest. After visiting the ruins, we headed off to a Mayan ceremony, swam in a beautiful cenote, and devoured a delicious lunch made perfectly by the folks in a Mayan village that AlTourNative helps support. It is great to see the tour company work for the native people in preserving their culture and beauty of the land. The respect for AllTourNative by the people in the village was very obvious. All in our group felt very welcomed and had a super time.

My friend and I did the Tulum, Coba, cenote Mayan village tour. It was a full day of activities, but very fun and well organized. We were picked up from our resort on time and returned safely. Our tour guide Alejandro (Alex) was friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating to all the guests on the tour. We enjoyed climbing the Coba ruins, swimming in the cenote, and the lunch provided was so yummy. I highly recommend this company for tours.
