Let me start by saying that this is a place that you NEED to go to if you are on a cruise that stops at Port Costa Maya. My family and I rented a golf cart from the port (Red Shirts) and drove ourselves to the resort. They do provide reimbursement for your taxi but I personally like to be in control of my adventure. They did still give me the money. We enjoyed delicious cocktails with fresh made juices and amazing food, Tacos, Guacamole, Queso Dip and Chips Everything was delicious. Resting on the loungers and bed on the shore of the beach was just what we needed for the day. This place is not a scam and as much as I would like to keep it quiet so I can always get a spot there it is a destination that everyone needs to feel. We are already planning on going back!

This place is paradise. The beach is clean and beautiful, the food is amazing and the service is unmatched. We were at Nacional Beach Club and Bungalows for 2 weeks at the beginning of December. This is our third time to NBC, and I think it was the best ever. We stayed un Universo I, king bed and futon on the top floor. The balcony oversees the water but is secluded enough for privacy. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The staff at NBC is what makes this place unparalleled. Evan, Jose, Willy, Rafael, Ximena, Serena, and Jazmin, et al. (including the housekeeping and kitchen staff) always treat us like royalty. The food is the absolute best in Mahahual. Willy's cocktails bit me in the butt a time or two and were all made with fresh ingredients and quality alcohol. On one hand, I want everyone who reads this to go to Mahahual and stay at NBC, but on the other, I love the quiet life and don't want to make it so we can't get a reservation! I give them 10/10

Very beautiful and well kept up establishment. The pros are there right in the middle of the busy shopping area so there is a lot to see while walking around or scheduling a last minute excursion or dive trip. It is not very busy and there is a lot of space between the lounge chairs so you're not on top of each other. The food and drinks were excellent and the service was above average. I had two servers while I was there. I wish I had written down their names. One was a female and one was a skinny male. I will say I prefer this male to the female as he was more attentive Even though the female was supposed to be the primary server. The only con I had was that there was not any extra activities you could do as compared to other beach clubs nearby. There was no option for a kayaking, snorkeling, etc. My son and I still had a good time though.
