The food was great and our server Alfonso "Poncho" was great. Will be coming back again for sure. La comida es excelente y el servicio muy bueno, esta fsmilia boricua regresara pronto!

Margaritas were terrible. Service was slow, dogs sniffing your food constantly. Prices were sky high for the type of place this was. I would not recommend this place to no one. Kitchen was a shack in front of the outside porta potties.

Amazing place , amazing people , and amazing food good cocktails !! , Alfonso and his team made us feel at home, we had a great day and we can't wait to go back I recommend it a thousand times! We guys love you !! Thank you for all ❤️❤️

In Jan. 2023 we paid $20 for 2 people at the taxi stand at the cruise port. We were told this included 2 chairs, an umbrella and 2 welcome drinks. This did not include the taxi fare of $4/pp each way. Captain Barba Negra is near the far end of the strip where it is a bit quieter. The beach was nice with lots of shade and no seaweed (they clean it). The chairs were comfortable. Some people were snorkeling. The water is very clear, calm and huge very shallow area - great for kids. We had fajitas and they were very good. The food prices were great ($10 for chicken fajitas, $12 for steak - including beans and rice) and serving sizes generous. The alcoholic drinks were very large and very good. Overall I would recommend and think it is a good value for your money.

This was our first Mexico beach day, and we had a good time but overall it was disappointing. We had overpriced open bar wristbands thanks to a very pushy "transportation organizer" in the cruise ship port. The wristbands might be worth it on their own but find your own transportation. Drinks were good. The food was great, though very pricey (chips and guac and a vegetarian burrito was $31 USD). Our server, Omar Garcia (Caballo Loco, "Crazy Horse") was great—very helpful, had good recommendations, and was reasonably attentive considering how busy it was. Free WiFi is a plus. Cons: This beach was full of people offering to sell you junk. We had to say "No thanks" every 2 minutes (no joke). Bathrooms were not clean; more like port-a-potties. In general the beach was very crowded, which probably contributed to all the issues above. On a quieter day, this would probably be a great spot.

Beautiful spot to visit! It was one of our stops on our cruise and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff, beautiful views and a massage to die for! Highly recommended

We came here from a cruise ship. We got chairs in a nice shady spot. Enjoyed our day relaxing. My sister had a nice massage. Ely provided excellent service to our group of 5, even taking us out to the taxi when we were ready to go!
