Had a great tour. Lorenzo was our tour guide and was incredibly knowledgeable!! If you have any interest in Mexican and Mayan Culture we would encourage you to go!

The staff all around were so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we arrived just after storm time and so the lagoon wasn't as colorful as we'd hoped for. (no fault of the excursion) The resort we were taken to was absolutely private and beautiful. Enjoyed the kayaking, drinks and food!

The staff is welcoming and focused on providing a great experience. The beach experience is comfortable with individual tiki huts and loungers. Food and drink are delicious and delivered to you on the beach. This was our second visit and we'll return for future cruise port stops as well. We did have an issue with our taxi driver on the return to port this time.

So glad I booked something separate from the cruise ship excursions. Our guide Edder was fantastic as was our driver. Edder was extremely knowledgeable about the ruins and gave us lots of information and was able to answer all of our questions. It was incredibly hot while we were there but the driver brought cold water as we were walking around which was much appreciated. While the ruins were amazing, I feel like we were so lucky to get a taste of the current Mayan culture by visiting a Mayan community and having some locals cook us the most amazing meal. My teenage boys could not get enough (although there was plenty to go around) because it was so delicious. Our ship was over a hour late to port but we still did not feel rushed and got to do everything that was promised and they made sure we would be back with time to spare. Truly a highlight to our trip. Would highly recommend this experience.

The ruins tour was very well done and very interesting!! The private beach with lunch at the Bacalar Lagoon was beyond amazing! I could never have imagined such a beautiful place. We had a wonderful day! This was the best excursion on our 7 day cruise and it was not offered through our Royal Caribbean cruise. SUPERB!

This is a very unique and interesting tour. You will have a hard time finding an experience like this where you are able to immerse into an ancient culture totally in their space. It was a bit of a rough ride to get there. Lorenzo deserves a shout out as he deserves it. All good.

Very amazing experience our guide Eric was very knowledgeable, everyone on the tour was actually knowledgeable and all the staff was sweet. The lagoon was great. Everything was such a nice experience. Def was a great excursion.

Our guide Eric was great. Unfortunately, we were part of a mixed group. Half wanted to spend more time at the lake and half wanted to spend more time at the ruins. We were on a cruise for a short time. As a result, I felt short-changed at both. I thought this was going to be a small group. Read the contract carefully.

Eric was a phenomenal tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable. The ruins tour was great, but if you are wanting to spend more time at the lake, book a tour for that separately. We spent about an hour and 30 minutes at the lake, but that included eating time, so we had about 45 in the water. The food was delicious and so were the drinks!

One of the best excursions I've ever done! Lorenzo was polite, professional, punctual, pleasant and knowledgeable. They paid close attention to detail and ensured we were always comfortable. Great experience!

Tour guide was very informative and was also funny which was a plus. Both stops was well worth visiting , the 7 color lagoon was very peaceful, private and beautiful, the tacos were amazing! My husband and I had a great time!

You can stop looking for any other tours if you've found this one. I went the first week in August as a shore excursion and im immensely happy I did so. This excursion was probably one of the highlights of my trip! With the serene views of the lagoon and the rich history within the ruins, this excursion would be worth every bang for all your buck. Not to mention the immensely knowledgeable tour guides you get( shoutout to David and Eliott) would elevate your trip. David and Eliott ensured everyones comfortability and entertained us with their stories of Mayan history and their own personal lives. The food they provided was delicious and the drinks were strong haha. My only complaint would be the too short of a time we had onshore as I wanted to spend as long as I can on this tour.

Wish there was more time at the locations. Felt rushed because it took over an hour to just get there

We had a great time with our family on this trip. We sailed into Costa Many on Royal Carribean and getting picked up was a little tricky. You have to exit the entire port and walk a bit, but all of the companies providing last minute trips helped us find our pickup location. We traveled for about an hour to the lagoon and then spent about an hour and a half or so on the water. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a first time kayaker in our group that was a little slow and held up the group, but that wasn't anything against the tour company. Lunch was fantastic, as were the drinks. The drinks weren't very strong, but the environment was breathtaking. Would do it again in a heartbeat. The staff was top notch.
