Wow. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Our tour guide was so awesome, so friendly, so knowledgeable and made our trip one that we will never forget. If you’re considering doing this trip , don’t walk RUN! We had delicious fresh fruit, alcohol, so many snacks, an awesome lunch afterwards and they were just so much fun to be around. I seriously can’t thank them enough for the amazing time!!! You guys are awesome !

We just returned from a cruise where we did this shore excursion in Costa Maya. We had a great time and our tour guide, Sofia, was very attentive and informative. The timing was perfect and we made it back to our cruise ship with over an hour to spare. Would recommend this experience for anyone visiting this port. Even though it is a bit far to travel, the lake is beautiful and very enjoyable to swim. The beaches near the port are not very appealing.

We had a fantastic time, there were 10 adults and 2 toddlers and we were well taken care of from pick up to drop off of our cruise. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to make the trip to Bacalar from Costa Maya

We are a party of 15 (age ranges from 16 to 80+) and chose this tour mainly because it is a private tour and can accommodate our big family at our pace. We were greeted warmly by the staff at the pick up point, especially by our driver, Saul and our guide, Judith. The weather was fluctuating between heavy rain and sunny and humid, Judith and Saul ensured we stay cool and hydrated the entire time. Both are very attentive, kind and patience, especially with helping the elderly getting on and off the van. Judith is an excellent history teacher providing plenty of interesting Mayan history. We thoroughly enjoyed the time spent together. Saul and Judith also gladly dropped us off at a local restaurant for lunch upon request and ensured our bill was calculated correctly. They took good care of us and we had a fantastic time.

Nice tour and awesome time with our guide Tino and our driver Andres. We had a great time, learned a lot about the island! We would definitely book with this company again 😀

Due to a medical issue, we were not able to do the excursion. They worked with us for a great outcome. We would love to take the excursion with them another time.

Tino was our guide and he was fabulous! Our driver Andrea always made us feel safe and we had a nice new van to ride inside. We stopped for some fresh fruit and then drove to Bacalar! We would love to come back one day and stay longer. Bacalar was beautiful and the water was so refreshing and clear! After our water time we went for fresh tacos! We made it back to our cruise ship with an hour or so to spare to shop around. I recommend Tino as he was constantly asking us if we had everything we needed at all times- very attentive . Very easy to talk to via Whats app too!

Our guide Tino made this tour. He was highly entertaining as well as knowledgeable on the culture and area. The lagoon is pretty, you get unlimited drinks/ beers, delicious fruit and the taco dinner at the end is tasty. It is a bit of a drive (1:15 each way) and I believe this is overpriced vs most other island tours, but for Costa Maya there are not a lot of options and this seems to be one of the best. The lagoon is fresh water so you will not experience sea life here.

HIGHLIGHT OF MY ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE!! Oh my gosh I loved loved Costa Maya Bacalar Lagoon. Our guide’s name was Tino and he was absolutely INCREDIBLE and FUN!! He kept our cups full and took these awesome photos!! I wish I could give it 10 stars!! It was so much fun and we got unlimited drinks, snacks, and 4 tacos. It was a long hour and 15 min drive to the boat but so worth it- I will do that every-time in Costa Maya from now on!! Worth EVERY penny!!

We booked a tour while in port for a cruise and were very happy with everything. Our tour was extra private as we were the only ones riding in the vehicle. Saul was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He actually grew up and lives right near the site so his knowledge of the ruins and the area had a more personal touch. He made our day even more special when he stopped by a small fruit stand on the way back home and bought us fresh pineapple as an anniversary gift. I cannot more highly recommend Chac Ek and Saul as a tour guide.

My favorite excursion of all the ports. There were 9 of us ranging from 55 to 14 years old, and we all loved it. Our tour guide Judith was excellent, gave us tons of information and made sure we were enjoying it at all times. Our driver Saul was also fantastic. And the place is gorgeous, the lagoon is just breath taking and Cenote was really interesting. It is about an hour and 15 min from the port but Judith and Saul made it fun. After the lagoon they took us to lunch to their BEST tacos I would go back just for that lunch. I would go back any time.

We went on a guided trip last week with Chac Ek and have zero regrets! Leo was our tour guide. We were very impressed with his knowledge of the whole area not just Bacalar. We had 9 people in our group(4 adults, 3 teens,2 kids) Everything went smooth. We felt 💯 safe and comfortable while traveling with Leo. He made sure we had plenty of snacks drinks and our lunch was incredible! I felt the need to hug him at the end of our day! Leo we hope to see you again and we hope your dog liked the tacos!! This was the highlight of our vacation. From the moment we met Tino the trip/experience was wonderful. We got on the van greeted with a cold bottle of water and on the drive took our order and explained all the fun. We stopped at a local market he got us pineapple 🍍 and dragon fruit. The boat ride was great We jumped in the clear water with hands down the best pineapple drink on the island. After our water experience we went to a local taco shop all sat and ate. It was delicious! Only 4 of us in our group. Much better then a large crowd like the ship offered. Tino- you are wonderful. The few hours we spent with you were the highlight of our trip. You are such a kind person and made the experience amazing. Thank you
