Last night's ghost tour was absolutely wonderful! Our guide, Grace, was phenomenal—she didn't just share ghost stories, but also provided loads of detailed history that gave the tales so much depth and credibility. Grace's friendly and upbeat personality made the tour even more enjoyable, and her fantastic interaction with all of us kept everyone engaged and entertained. If you’re looking for an informative and fun ghost tour, this is a great one!

We just finished our ghost tour with Olivia. She was very good, even though she said it was her first tour!!!
We enjoyed talking about stories we’d heard, about the new ones she shared with us tonight and how much we’d like to see a ghost someday. I made a picture of the Latimer house tonight… Olivia said it’s one of the most haunted homes in Wilmington. This tour suffered greatly from lack of focus and the absence of a coherent theme or message. Very little of the tour is actually about ghosts and most of it is about the history of Wilmington which has a very dark and troubling history. None of it was about pirates, really.
I would seriously suggest a refocus to something like "A night tour through the dark side of Wilmington" and skip the connections to ghosts and spirits unless they are really strong.
Also be warned that when you get the message on your phone to register for the walk, you get taken to a website that tries to suck you into a whole bunch of add-ons at extra cost. This feels cheap, almost as if they are withholding stuff so they can charge you more. If it is worth seeing, it should be on the tour.
There is a more established ghost tour available. That might be your better choice.

Our group of 11 was very disappointed in this tour. While the two guides were very pleasant people they were sorely lacking as docents. They seemed inexperienced and some of their information was inaccurate. The overall experience was boring to the extent that more than half of our group ducked out early. The locations given in the “What to expect “ were not accurate, nor was the length of the tour. Time was to be 1 hour and 15 minutes but it lasted 2 hours. The tour was to end where it began but it ended on the other side of historic Wilmington. We booked this based on the Trip Advisor overall score but should have dug deeper. Strongly suggest you find a different tour.

Our guide was very friendly and fun to be with. The tour was much longer than I thought it would be and the history lesson was amazing. If you’re looking for creepy or just some history on Wilmington it’s worth the money. I suggest the extended tour.

Grace was a fabulous tour guide my one and biggest complaint was the confirmation didn’t tell me where to meet our tour guide so we ended up at the wrong place and had to run to get there on time. This tour also had lots of walking up and down hills which was fine for us but some people definitely fell behind. Great stories about the city though and its former occupants.

This tour was sooo much fun! Our tour guide, Richard, was very enthusiastic and knew a lot of history of Wilmington and its past. This tour was very educational especially if visiting or want to know more history of where you live! Richard also gave lots of recommendations on where to explore more of! Lasted a little more than an hour. There were bathrooms along the way, greatly appreciated. Not a too long walk, could be wheel chair accessible. Highly reccomend, especially with Richard!

Just got done this tour. It was ok. Our tour guide was new and did ok. She needed a little more practice with the stories, needed to stand still while talking and needed to add a little more drama to the stories. A cool outfit would have been fun too!
