Our family trip to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Fenghuang Ancient Town was nothing short of magical, and a huge part of this unforgettable experience was thanks to Victor, our incredible guide. Traveling with a mixed group of adults with and without mobility issues can be challenging, but Victor went above and beyond to ensure everyone in our group felt comfortable, cared for, and included. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine consideration turned what could have been a daunting journey into a joyful adventure. From the very beginning, he tailored the itinerary to our needs, helping us actively avoid crowds while still experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Zhangjiajie's iconic landscapes. The towering pinnacles, misty mountains, and surreal views made famous by Avatar were even more awe-inspiring in person, and he knew the best vantage points and times to visit to maximize our experience. Highlights like Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain and the Glass Bridge over the Grand Canyon were brought to life with his stories and insights. Victor didn’t just stop at making the logistics seamless—he truly elevated the trip. He shared fascinating anecdotes and local history with candor and warmth, making us feel like we were traveling with an old friend who just happened to know every hidden gem. His restaurant recommendations were spot-on; we enjoyed delicious meals that were perfect for our group. The seniors with mobility challenges could relax and savor every bite, thanks to his thoughtful planning. Ending the trip with a night and day in Fenghuang Ancient Town was the perfect touch. Our group toured the Tianmen Mountain scenic area in the morning and at night we came for the Fairy Fox show. This is one of the best shows that I had seen in my previous trips to China. We even took some photos with the actresses before the show begin.

Our guide, Victor, planned a great trip for us according to our requests. He's an amazing guide, that always share succinct and interesting facts about the places of interests and the culture there. Whenever we wanted to learn more, he was quick to satisfy our curiosities. His extensive knowledge and friendly nature allowed us to have a comfortable and engaging trip for the whole family. If you're looking to have an enjoyable and personalised trip in Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend Victor!

Zhangjiajie was wonderful and a lot of that had to do with Victor. He adjusted the tour for our 2 young boys and they had a blast. The boys were super comfortable with him, often racing ahead to go hold hands with him. The accommodations were best at the Pullman in Wulingyuan and at the Sunshine in Zhiangjiajie itself. The Phoenix Grand in Fenghuang was dark and dated but admittedly the only 4 star hotel on the trip, and probably one of the fewer high end options in that city. The lunch and dinner recommendations throughout the trip were great. The van driver was very reliable and a safe driver. Our pick ups and drop-off were very late in the day and that wasn't a problem. What a great time!

Victor is an excellent tour guide, who is knowledgeable, kind and extremely hardworking. He has a deep understanding of this part of China and clearly loves what he is doing. In our small family group's experience, he related extremely well to our different backgrounds (Africa, North America), did a great job catering to our diverse dietary requirements, and was very good with young children. I only had one day in Zhangjiajie and wanted to make the most out of it. Before I even met Victor, we already talked on wechat and planned what I wanted to see. He organized a custom tour for me to guarantee, I got to see everything that I had on my list. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t very good on the one day I had. Victor adjusted the tour in no time and made sure I had the best day. We started with a cable car ride to Tianmen mountain. Despite the fact that we couldn’t see anything once we got to the top of the mountain, it was still very much worth going up there. The glass walk was also very interesting and cool to see. Due to the weather hardly anyone was on it, which was great. The fog made the scenery almost look fake. It was amazing! Afterwards we took many escalators down to take a shuttle bus down the windy streets to get back to the station. After a quick lunch at a local spot, which was super delicious, we headed to Avatar mountain in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. We took a bus up to the last shuttle bus stop and made two stops along the way to get the best views of Avatar mountain. It wasn’t as foggy at the park, so I was able to see the beautiful Avatar mountain. I had an amazing day and I can highly recommend Victor. His English is excellent and he’s very organized. If I ever decide to come back on a sunnier day, I’ll make sure to book a tour with Victor.

Victor was really wonderful in providing the best locations for sunrise and sunset. Time was not a factor. When all the crowds had gone he made sure we had the best spot and light. Not easy to get up so early but best photography has a price to pay. My wife made a mistake with her luggage and Victor carried it for her. Really a lovely chap and he allowed the best in a very very crowded month. Do not hesitate to contact Victor for a true bespoke trip.

We spent 4 days with Victor visiting zhangjiajie national park, glass bridge, Tianmen mountain and Phoenix town. We enjoyed very much the tour, he gave us a lot of information about the places we visited and also about Chinese history. He was very patients with us and the kids, always wutha smile and friendly attitude. The landscape and the guide were amazing. I would definitely will recommend Victor as guide and if possible book another tour with him

It is a significant show that I was able to see due to the amazing guide! Everything was taken care of, English speaking and just wonderful guide. I don't think I would have had such a great experience if I tried to arrange everything by myself. The show is definitely worth seeing! Great time and service 10/10

I spent couples of days traveling Zhangjiajie, which actually a wonderful place worth paying a visit. Because of difficulties in communication, I booked a tour with Victor, who is a great guy, professional, truying to make the food suitable with our taste, understanding our background. He asked us every detail of ourselves before the trip so that this trip would be smoothly. The room and hotels are all great except the one in FengHuang Ancient Town, but that one near the center and convenient for us to go around, so advantages outweigh disadvantages. There are so many wonders around the place, like Avatar Mountain, which impresses all its visitors by its magnificent scene and the breathtaking view of Ancient Town may take all of your sadness. Thanks to Victor, I can speak and understand some Chinese words. His story is wonderful, too. I would recommend the tour to anyone as it is the greatest and valuable in my experience

I took the tour to 張家界 this Chinese national holidays in May. As usual, there were so many people. I took the hiking tour, so less people and I really enjoyed the nature. My guide was Victor, and he has 13 years experience and he knows very well. He selected the best way for the tour, so I didn’t need to wait long time. If you are wondering to chose which tour is the best, I definitely recommend this tour and the guide Victor. What an amazing show. Very spectacular scenery, lighting, music and cast. Well worth going to. There are subtitles but I didnt read much as way more interested in what was going on on stage. The story line is a basic live story so reading was irrelevant really. If you do read the subtitles the translation just adds to the fun.

Although we first encounter Victor in 2017 via a Juighaigou Park tour, I would like to recommend him for his services at Zhangjiajie area. Victor is a knowledgable and caring guide. My husband enjoys photography and Victor always suggested interesting angles to take the photographs. His recommendations to restaurants in surrounding areas were always local and interesting. We would highly recommend Victor and would use hime again in future visits to China.

We experienced our first tour with Victor a few years ago at the Juiizhaigou Park. We understand he works in Zhangjiajie Park area now. He is a knowledgable and caring guide. He gives attention to details in all aspect of the tours. My husband loves photography, Victor was able to advise him the best spots to take the pictures. He also gave us good recommendations for restaurants. Would definitely use Victor of China Toruk Tour again in the future!

Touring this region with Victor was really wonderful. The scenery was spectacular and Victor was a superb guide.
