My husband and I spent a wonderful day exploring Changsha with our fabulous tour guide Lisa. Lisa met us punctually at our hotel at 8am having communicated clearly with us beforehand. We knew we would have a good day on meeting Lisa as she spoke English very fluently and also had a great sense of humour. Lisa took us by metro to our first stop - Orange Island - where we learned about Chairman Mao’s early years in Changsha and saw the huge iconic Mao statue. We then took the metro to Yuelu Academy and Hunan University. Yuelu Academy is an ancient university which is a beautiful and fascinating place to discover. Learning more about Mao’s years there as a student was also very interesting. We had a delicious lunch at Maojia restaurant and had Mao’s favourite braised pork dish. As the temperature was very high we decided to visit Changsha Museum to enjoy the cooler environment there. This was also fascinating as we learned about Changsha’s ancient past. We then returned to our hotel having had a wonderful day exploring Changsha with Lisa. She also then recommended, on our request, a restaurant for the following night and made a reservation for us at The Fire Palace. All in all this was a wonderful day in Changsha. I cannot recommend this trip with Lisa enough. Thank you Lisa for giving us this fabulous experience 🙏

I am from Belgium, but I was adopted inYueyang, Hunan when I was only 3-month old. I flew to Changsha, hoping to visit the adopted place and orphanage. Judy did a great job for planning my trip. She made an appointment with the orphanage for my visiting, she arranged a private driver and tour guide to take me to Yueyang from Changsha. Stacey is my tour guide, she was very professional, trying her best to connect me with as many people in the orphanage as possible. I had some sightseeing there as well, I loved the magnificent Yueyang tower and the delicious Hunan food. If you ever need to plan your trip in Changsha, this is the recommended one.

I booked the airport pick-up service two weeks ago for my girlfriend who came to Hunan university for study. Judy sent her friend Stacey who speaks English to pick Elina up. Stacey helped her with the heavy luggages and made her feel the one-hour driving to university like going home. Her worries and anxieties for the new experience in an un-known city disappeared because of Stacey’s warmth and nice explanation of the city. Our company (from Greece) had a booth on the international meat industry exhibition in September. I have enjoyed this private tour to various places in Changsha such as Hunan Provincial Museum, Yuelu Academy and Orange Island Park. The Mawangdui Han Tomb forms the basic display of the museum. The museum includes historical rich collectios from the Tomb in additin to bronze ware crafts of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties and cultural relics. The most exciting thing to see the well preserved female corpse from the Western Han Dynatsy which wad burried deeply under ground for more than 2000 years.
