We were on a cart that only carried 4 other tourists (including ourselves), so it was like having a private tour. Brenda took us around and showed us key buildings in and around Uptown--government buildings, sports and event complexes, landmarks, and historic homes in the Fourth Ward, all within 1.5 hours. She was very knowledgeable and was able to cite recent events or celebrities that performed in the event arenas, as well as point out certain building details on the tour that many people may miss. The tour provided a good overview on the 'lay of the land' in central Charlotte and where key landmarks are located. Because our group was so small, we were able to ask as many questions as we wanted without causing any delay in the tour. Brenda's enthusiasm about the town showed through during the tour, making it very enjoyable as well as educational.

The tour was awesome and really highlighted the amazing city of Charlotte! Our tour guide, Sandy, was very informative and a great ambassador for the Queen City. I would highly recommend this tour to all visitors to Charlotte!! One recommendation would be if you are taking the Lynx, the CTC Transportation Center is the closest train stop to meet up with the Golf Cart. The web sent us to 7th street stop, which was quite a long walk for anyone who has mobility issues.
Well worth the price and the Queen City Tour team are the best!!!

David was a fabulous tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable and personable. He knew the history of the city as well as current projects to give a glimpse into where the city is going. 10/10, highly recommend! Great overview of Charlotte. We learned a lot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our historical tour with “DJ”Danny. We walked up without a reservation and he was able to squeeze us in. We were lucky to get on and will make a reservation next time. DJ gave us lots of interesting tidbits about Charlotte. The tour is a great way to get your bearings in this fine city and determine what you want to investigate further. He also had some good recommendations for meals and museums. We definitely recommend this tour for when you arrive in town, or if you live in the area, it’s a great way to learn things you didn’t know about Charlotte.

We met at 5th & Church Street just across from Fitzgerald’s. 5 guests plus driver took off to explore the sites. 1st stop the train tracks. Our guide was very knowledgeable and talked about rails, buildings, parks and stadiums. Very informative. Explained some of the history

This tour is how it’s supposed to be done! Our guides, aka Thelma and Louise, made learning about the Queen City fun and very informative. We booked this tour to share our city with a friend from Ohio :) Even though my husband is from Charlotte and I’ve been here 27 yrs, we were amazed about how little we knew of its history and culture. Time and money well spent! These two ladies definitely take their show on the road—loads of fun learning and laughing!

My sister and her husband recently moved to Charlotte and I came to visit them. They are still unfamiliar with Charlotte so I decided to book this tour so we all could learn more about the city . David was our guide and for a young person as he is he was fabulous! He was so full of information, very friendly and such a smart young man . We totally enjoyed it , thank you so much David for the great experience.

We came to Charlotte with not too many expectations and Tony changed our mind completely. We took the tour on Wed March 3rd, 2021. We were a bit late and Tony was nice enough to wait for us. He introduced us to the history of the Uptown, the culture, the art and the different neighborhoods of the city. It was fun. He knows his material, a history buff and was ready to answer every question we had.
I whole heartedly recommend this tour.

They have recently added a small bus to their fleet and it was great! Our guide has lived in Charlotte forever and had a great sense of humor and immense knowledge of the area. The tour is very comprehensive, and all five of us, age ranges 94-29 years old enjoyed it all. Answered any and all the questions we had as well. We lucked out and had the tour to ourselves, so they made a quick stop at our city hotel for pick up and drop off which was sooooo appreciated. I have been on a lot of city tours and this one ranks in the top 5 ever. There was a game at the stadium that day, but our driver knew all the ins and outs of the traffic to get us around and even still see the stadium.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide gave us lots of interesting details about the city and we were able to stop for a few minutes at different sites to hear stories about particular houses, buildings and statues. I wish I could remember our guide’s name! He did a great job and made the tour lots of fun! He is a veteran and has an engineering degree I think. 🤔 Thank you for an enjoyable tour of Charlotte!
