We never got to do this tour because the tour company never showed up to pick us up despite having corresponded consistently over the last month. We paid for this tour roughly 6 months ago. First time in 126 countries that a tour company has done this to me. Very disappointed!

Our tour operator did not show up. We had been corresponding for over a month with confirmation the morning of our excursion that we would be picked up at our hotel at 15:30. It took our front desk 15 minutes to find a way to get ahold of the operator as they weren't answering their phone or chat initially. When we got through, the operator tried to tell us that the trip needed to be postponed due to weather and that he had emailed us. We received no email and our correspondence had been by chat. There was some intermittent rain but the sea was calm and other boats were traveling back and forth. We arranged the same experience through our front desk (shout out to the superb staff at the Tembo hotel) for considerably less money. I don't recommend this company.i do recommend visiting the island to see the turtles:)

My husband and I cannot recommend the Door Tours more. Imani and his brothers Geoffrey and Kevin, grew up in Zanzibar and are full of many interesting details of the city and its history. We walked thru the fish market and witnessed an authentic fish auction, learned about the sad history of Zanzibar's Slave Market and explored the underground holding rooms. Also wandered thru narrow alleys with elaborate door carvings which identified the residents as being involved in the slave trade.This was our best tour on our entire 3 month trip. These guys were such great people. You'll be glad you chose this tour. They also gave us more time and took us more places than the other Zanzibar city tours that we considered and all at a great price. Martha and Dennis from California

Wonderful full day trip from Nungwi , Geoffrey arranged the hotel pick up to fumba island. The snorkelling was amazing with many different fish colours. We had a great time during our stay in Tanzania. They picked us up from the airport and took us to the hotel.  Geofrey picked us up next day to start the 6 day safari. It was amazing. Geofrey was our guide in Spanish, explained a lot of interesting things and he has a good eye to find animals. Weonly have a little problem with car overheating but the agency arranged another truck to pick us up really quick.  Overall very satisfied with the safari tour

I with my wife went to Zanzibar for holiday the door tours travel receved us, they we're so friendly and informative I will difenetily book with them again.
