This tour is a walking tour in a spice farm (shamba). While there, you shall see how the spices, herbs and fruits grow and are cultivated. Your tour guide will describe how the crops can be used. You will be smelling and tasting spices, herbs and tropical fruits such as clove, lemongrass, nutmeg, cinnamon, turmeric, vanilla, coconuts, papaya, chili, black pepper, jackfruit, cardamom, cassava and oranges.

- 1Our first stop is Kidichi persian baths.This site was built on the highest point of Zanzibar Island by Sultan Seyyid Said , it was for his wife who was the grand-daughter of the Shah of Persia, Fatah Ali, it is decorated in ornamental Persian stucco work. The remarkably preserved baths have a series of domed bathhouses with deep stone baths and massive seats. This is quite a contrast to the plain baths nearby at Kizimbani, which were built within Said’s clove tree and coconut plantation. We shall proceed with our tour with a drive through a profusion of greenery in the countryside seeing, smelling and tasting a variety of spices and mouthwatering tropical seasonal fruits such as jack fruit, pineapple, banana, green coconut juice, dourian, love apple, litche, soursop etc. Spices such as cloves, cardamon, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric, nutmeg etc A full tour involves much more than spices and you will also have a chance to see the iodine plant, heena bush, ylang-ylang and many more

- Ellen L0 contributionsBest service on the islandZanzibar Treasure tours took care of us during our entire visit to Zanzibar. Ali, the owner, is one of the kindest men I have ever met. Ali and the drivers: We had issues with the airlines and ended up missing our flight (airline issue - nothing to do with Ali). He came and handled everything in person over and over without ever asking for an extra dime. We would have been lost without him. The tour: We were picked up and taken to this magnificent forest. The monkeys are amazing. This is a DO NOT MISS adventure. I took these pictures with my IPHONE even though we had a great camera. You get so close! GREAT FUN!Written July 17, 2023

The first shock was when he turned up for the tour and handed us over to another guide - Ally is just the front man. The guide was ok, not very informative or chatty - but tbh the stone town tour does t have much to it that’s accessible at the moment - everything (church, house of wonders etc) is under reconstruction so closed. Secondly the guide then handed us off to another guy for the slave market sub-tour section who then wanted a tip (we were straight off the plane and had no tsch as I had explained to Ally) - this was very awkward. I had hoped for more, maybe a stop for a coffee at the market or being able to actually go inside a building - this tour was $85 for 2 people - I’ve paid more for a full day tour of NYC…..I saw it advertised in tourist shops for $25 - even that is steep….but $85!! Our guide, Mussa, was very knowledgeable about the history and provided a look into this culture that was very informative. Vi tog på en privat heldagstur som inkluderede Jozani Forest, Spice tour og en tur igennem Stone Town, alle tre ture med engelsktalende guide.
Det hele var meget veltilrettelagt og vi kom som de første turister til Jozani skoven, hvorfor vi så masser af aber og fik skoven for os selv.
Desværre havde vi glemt, hvilken pris vi aftalte for turen, og vi mistænker desværre, at vores arrangør Captain Cheapest satte prisen op, da vi skulle betale, og han opdagede at vi havde glemt, hvad vi aftalte. Så derfor husk ALTID at skrive prisen ned på det I aftaler, så I ikke kommer i samme situation som os.
Ellers har vi kun positivt at sige om AG tours og alle tre seværdigheder er bestemt et besøg værd.

Nous avons effectués deux journées avec Hausman (visite de la ferme aux épices et safari bleu) c’était parfait, il est aux petits soins pour qu’on ne manque de rien.
Un guide qui parle bien français, qui explique bien, on a pu discuté de tout afin d’en apprendre un peu plus sur le pays.
En ce qui concerne le gérant, nous sommes passé directement via WhatsApp, très agréable, très arrangeant et disponible.
N’hésitez pas à leurs faire confiance!
