We used Welcome Pickups in Athens from our hotel to the airport, and then arranged Welcome Pickups again once we landed in Santorini to our AirBNB. Both pickups were exceptional. We were greeted by the drivers who were professional, on time and had very clean, classy vehicles. I much prefer Welcome Pickups over Uber.

DO NOT BOOK! I booked a round trip transfer from the airport to our hotel. Our first transfer went fine. Our transfer from the hotel back to the airport was a NO SHOW. We called and called, emailed, texted: ZERO RESPONSE. As you can imagine, we were panicking and didn't want to miss our flight. After no response, we cancelled the transfer and got another ride to the airport. The company will not refund my money because they say the driver showed up 30 minutes late. I called the hotel to see if the driver had showed: NO. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Best airport-transfer - very good communication, easy, friendly, good price, fast and fulfilled all expectations! If i need an airport transfer after or for a flight, i would book welcome pickups anytime again.

Booked a pickup from our hotel to take us to the airport when we were going home. It was easy to book, confirmation was received quickly and the car arrived on time and hassle free. This was also €10 cheaper than the taxi we got from the airport to the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

I used Welcome Pick ups 3 times on our trip to Greece. From the airport in Athens, within Athens and to the airport in Santorini all early. Very clean, friendly and helpful with questions about the area. We will 100% be using Welcome Pick ups again.

All of our scheduled pickups were on time. Easy to contact the drivers if necessary. I would certainly recommend this company. Friendly drivers and communication is great.

We used this private transfer to get from the ferry port to our hotel. We had a lot of luggage, so this was the best option. The ride was nice and the driver friendly and helpful. It was a little pricey, but worth not cramming into two cabs. Unfortunately, he could not get very close to our hotel in Fira and we had to haul all the luggage up the hill to the main street. In hind site, other drivers were getting up to the main street o let people off.

Had a great experience all 3 times. The website was easy to use and was able to coordinate with the drivers directly. Even negotiated an earlier pickup when our plans changed.

Our driver reached out to us the day before our scheduled pick up and then never showed up. I contacted him several times that morning and never heard from him. Fortunately the taxi station was right across the street. The taxi to the port was less expensive and we left right away. We have never had a driver not show up before. Very disappointed.

Perfect airport transfer. Driver there for us at airport exit. Very polite knowledgeable driver. Would recommend. Especially if travelling alone as app sends you name and picture of your driver. Really great service.

Booked a transfer to include a carseat for my 11 month old. Driver arrived without it- couldn't find it in the office apparently. Left with no choice but to take the car anyway or miss our flight. Unreliable service.

While traveling with my family of 4 (with 4 suitcases) I used Welcome Pickups for several transfers in Madrid, Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, and Milan. We needed a minivan or similar each trip. Although the app looks convenient, none of the messages I sent were ever answered. Sharing my location never seemed to work and I was never able to see a driver's location. I attempted several different methods of contacting customer service and never received a response, especially when trying to report suspicious activity which resulted in my receiving less service than I paid for. But all the experiences were different. In Madrid, the driver was great and his Peugot station wagon was fine. In Mykonos, the driver was very happy and friendly, driving his huge Mercedes Sprinter. The first driver in Santorini was over a half hour late but he was very apologetic and courteous. His van was fine. The second driver was great, taking time to point us to the ferry line and explaining things to us. Crete was where we had a problem. Our assigned driver messaged me to confirm we were on the ferry. When we arrived, the person holding my name on a sign was not the person pictured on the app. We were supposed to have a driver with a black minivan. Instead, this guy took us to a standard taxi where we were all crammed inside and the trunk couldn't close with our suitcases. He had to tie the trunk lid partially open. That driver was fine but the taxi ride was not the private transfer we had paid for. I could have taken a taxi for much less money. I tried reporting this issue to customer service and never received a response. Then at the end of the trip, the same issue occurred - same assigned driver was not there and the same taxi driver took us to the airport. We did not have time to raise an issue as we had a flight to catch. I again tried reaching out to customer service, requesting a refund and I have still not received a response. Our flight to Milan was delayed, and contrary to what the app said, we had no driver upon arrival. I tried messaging the driver and got no response. Luckily, the driver's number was listed so I messaged him. He made arrangements for another driver to come get us (after only a 10 minute wait). The drivers in Milan were fine and the vehicles were the nicest of the trip. Although our experiences differed from location to location, the non-existent customer service is why I will never use Welcome Pickups again. Pay a little more for a reputable and reliable transfer service.

Santorini is crowded and can be stressful. Have Welcome Pickups take you where you need to go and not worry. Our driver was knowledgeable and took us exactly where we needed to go and on time.
