I did a lot of research prior to our cruise stop in Santorini and believe we came up with the best option for our day. Jenny and our driver took us to so many beautiful places around the island that we never would have found on our own. We visited Oia before it got crowded and had already been to all the great viewpoints when we saw the cruise ship excursion buses rolling in. Our guide, Jenny, also recommended a wonderful restaurant on the beach. The setting was beautiful and the food was delicious. In addition to the beautiful sites, Jenny was a delight! She was so kind and informative, but the best part was the amazing pictures she took of our group throughout Santorini. I requested her based on reviews that I read about her picture-taking skills, but I had no idea how good she is!

Kosta was an incredible tour guide. He was so knowledgeable, personable and interesting. I feel as if I was given a master class in the history of Santorini - without even knowing it because I was having so much fun! I highly recommend this tour and Kosta. An excellent experience.

Costas was our guide and he was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Santorini is very crowded with tourists. If we weren’t on this small group tour we wouldn’t have been able to see as much as we did. It’s a beautiful island! The combination of walking and driving was perfect.

I have been doing some research on Santorini land tour after I’ve booked my cruise holiday last year. I came across 5 hours private custom tour provided by Santorini Day Tours. The reviews were great. Hence, I’ve booked it with them. They sent me WhatsApp after I’ve made payment with all the information needed. They had followed up with an email as well. On the day of arrival, they’ve sent another WhatsApp to remind me the meeting place. The meeting place is easy to find using Google maps. To my surprise, we were being assigned with a tour guide, Angelica and private driver, Akis. As I’ve booked a private tour, there were only 4 of us (me, my sister, Angelica & Akis). They’ve used a 13 seaters mini van. Angelica and Akis had provided superb service. They have managed to cover places we wanted to visit and brought us to some interesting places with lesser tourists e.g. highest point of Santorini. We had a spectacular view of the whole Santorini. Both Angelica and Akis are very knowledgeable about Santorini. We really enjoyed their service and highly recommended their services.

Too crowded and facilities inadequate, too many cruise ships allowed at once, waiting times excessive, no shade or sitting available

We had such a wonderful time in Santorini with our tour guide Nicki. She and the driver were flexible in accommodating our highlights we wanted to see. We visited the winery the mountains monastery and to the cliffs to have dinner and watch the sunset. We were on a tight schedule to get back to our ship everyone from the restaurant staff Nicki and our driver we made it! Beautiful experience!

We booked this tour hoping to make the most out of our time at the Santorini port during our cruise. Our tour guide was Jenny and she was fabulous. She was on time and easy to spot. She asked what we wanted to see and do and customized it that way for our group of 13. Our group spanned a huge age range - 3 to 70+. We got to see all the hot spots and time to take pics and shopping. Definitely recommend this tour !

We did a private all day tour, starting with the 5-6 hour private tour of Santorini followed by the Wine tour with sunset at Santos winery. I can't say enough about how awesome the experience was and it was made special by Jenny. Her knowledge of Santorini and her love of her island were clear. She was accommodating and knew all the right times to be at places juts before they filled up and the secret spots for the best pictures. She's also a really good photographer. I have already recommended her to a friend who also used her this week and loved her and the team.

We had an amazing day out with Jenny. She was so friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. She adapted the tour to suit our needs e.g. we are over 65 and not so fit so she took us to megalochori village rather than pyrgos which was more hilly and more stairs. We got fantastic photos of the iconic blue domes without having to line up for hours. Being a local (born in Santorini) she knew all the hidden spots and we couldn’t have asked for more. It is so worth having a private guide who can adapt to your needs. Could not recommend highly enough

Highly recommend. We had a great tour with a great knowledgeable guide. Small bus/van had good AC and was very comfortable. We got to see a lot of the sights on the island in a relatively short time. We made a mistake about our pick up spot and they went out of their way to get us so we could enjoy the tour. Great customer service!!

We had our private tour on Aug 8, sorry we do not remember name of our guide. He was great. He was prompt at our meeting point and took us all over the island. We are a family of 6 ranging from 11 -52. He immediately asked us what we wanted to see and do. We told him we wanted an overview of the entire island. Our driver started by taking us to Oia first so we could avoid the crowds. He took us to spots we would probably not have found on our own. He provided lots of info along the way re the island, history, etc. He took photos of our family, did not rush us at any time but was effiecient in moving us around the island. We saw the red beach, black beach,Akrotiri, Megalochori, and some local favourite spots of his he showed us as well. We had greek frozen yogurt and stopped at a small cafe to get food in the village. Of all of our private tours we did in Europe this was our best guide we had. Well worth the money and we felt very reasonable. We had a full 6hrs and still had time to do things on the island after. Definitely recommend.

We wish to express our appreciation to Santorini Tours for the comprehensive tour of the island with Michael. He is a Santorini native, lives on the island and knows it completely. Our 5 hours together was great fun, the scenery is incomparable and Michael was a delight to talk to. We feel like we have a new friend now in Greece. Also, Stelios went out of his way and picked us up in Oia for transport back to the cable car which enabled us some free time on our own in Oia. Much appreciated to both gentlemen. Everyone on the tour was incredibly helpful. If it weren't for this tour, we would have never been able to see so much of Santorini in just one day. Our tour guide, Nicolas, was very knowledgeable and kind. We are so glad we arranged this tour; it was one of the best days of our lives. We want to thank Stelios and Nicolas again for everything.

Our experience with SantoriniTours was AMAZING! Stelios was very responsive through email and WhatsApp communication from the start. He had great recommendations and suggestions for our couple of hours in Santorini. Our tour guide was Ilektra, and she marvelous and effortlessly switched between English & Spanish to meet our groups needs. Andreas, the bus driver was also so sweet and wonderful, always receiving us with a smile on his face. I would recommend visiting Oia, Firostefani, Profitis Elias & leaving time to chill in Black Sand beach if you wish. We ate at Fish O Perivolos and then were able to get in the beach. This was a great plan and I highly recommend it to be able to get to know the island with someone knowledgeable! 100/100!
