About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Chris J0 contributionsWine Tasting in Paradise! The tour was fantastic. Our guide Marina was very knowledgeable about the local wine, culture and customs. We took a comfortable van with 6 other guests to three wineries, each with a different flavor. At each stop, we had tapas and got to sample 3-4 different types of wine. Do not recommend eating before you go. There is plenty of food on the tour.Written October 5, 2024

Although the Vinsanto wine is made by every winery, they all taste slightly different. Highly recommend this tourWritten October 2, 2024

- O6723PQelizabethd0 contributionsHighlight of our Santorini experienceGorgeous locations, delicious wines and food - well worth the price and the time! Learned so much about Greece vineyards, how the grapes are grown and processed to get the various colors and tastes. Trip was closer to 4+ hours than stated 3 hours. Great way to see different areas of the island, with 3 distinct experiences.Written September 30, 2024

- Happy_Haus0 contributionsExcellent Experience - Must-do!Nikos did a great job of showing us around three wineries and "narrating" the tastings. He is very knowledgable about wines, winemaking, grapes, and vineyards. Very personable guy. Also a safe driver. A wine tour is one of the best ways to get a good introduction to Santorini wines. Highly recommend!Written September 27, 2024
- lv2wndr0 contributionsAMAZING Santorini Wine Tour!We did a small group private day tour to 3 wineries and tasted 12 wines. Our tour guide was amazing! Open and welcoming. Knowledgeable and fun! As we explored and tasted she imparted bits of history, viticulture, and winemaking processes as well as expertly guiding us through the tasting of each wine. Learned a lot and enjoyed every minute. Did not want the tour to end.Written September 26, 2024
- daniellemQ4760LM0 contributionsGreat Value! The sunset wine tour was one of our favorite excursions we did while on our honeymoon in Greece. Not only did the afternoon begin with pickup at our hotel (extremely convenient) but it included three different stops - ending with the most popular winery on the island, Santos Winery. This winery can be extremely hard to get into so the fact that we were able to have a reserved spot with a sunset view was worth the entire experience! But the 12 tastings and food at each stop were a fantastic value as well! We were paired with one other couple and a large group of friends - the tour guide did a great job making us all feel comfortable - we had a great time and highly recommend if you're in Santorini!Written September 22, 2024

Dora was an amazing guide! Our group had both beginners as well as level 3 wine experts. All of us learned a lot about Santorini wines and wine tasting/making in general. Price of the tour seemed expensive at first but it was definitely worth the splurge - we visited 3 wineries and tasted 14 different wines, and enjoyed the gorgeous sunset views at Santo winery. Tickets also included transport to and from our hotel, as well as very heavy appetizers, making it well worth the money. We left with 2 bottles of wine and will be raving about Santorini wines when we get home!

We were picked up in a air conditioned van just outside of our hotel/villa and transported to three different local wineries with small bites at each. Our tour guide was an official sommelier and knew more about wine than anyone I’ve ever met before! He was awesome! Highly recommend the sunset wine tour as you end the night at a beautiful location to watch the sun go down. Amazing evening!

We had a fantastic tour to visit some of Santorini's wineries, which was overall one of the highlights of our trips. We visited three different wineries, each unique and with interesting things to see and a variety of wines to sample. Our guide was brilliant at starting conversation within the group and was a wealth of knowledge throughout the tour. We also were treated to a gorgoues sunset view at Santowines (as well as a view of wedding celebrations happening next door).
A fantastic way to visit the wineries without worrying about who will be designated driver. Although not a cheap trip, it is excellent value for money in terms of the variety of places visited, number of wines sampled and the delicous snacks which came alongside these. One hundred percent recommend!

Such an informative and fun experience - an absolute must if spending a few days in Santorini. It's a great way to get a feel for the island as the tour takes you through small villages such as Pyrgos to get to different wineries. The wine is delicious and worth tasting as most aren't available in the supermarkets. Plus they give you great food pairings along the way too and you'll get to find out the traditional wine making techniques in the island and Cyclades. Yiannis was an excellent tour guide - really informative and good fun too! The sunset at Santo Wines was obviously glorious but we actually really enjoyed the chilled atmosphere of Anhydrous Wines at the start. Fantastic opportunity over all!

We had a great guide for this tour, Nikos. He was very knowledgeable about the wines, the region, the growers, etc. He answered our every question!
We visited three wineries, ending with a fabulous sunset view! On this tour, you will taste 15 different wines. Yes, that math is correct. Each pour is 75ml, which means if you consume all of the wine, you will consume a bottle and a half of wine! There are great food parings at both the first and last stops, which you will need. The region produces a lot of high acidity white wines. About half of the wines we tasted were of this type. A couple rosés, dessert wines, and reds, but mostly white wines. If this is not a variety you enjoy, be aware of that when booking.
The duration noted for this tour is approximately 4 hours. We came to this tour from our cruise ship, which was only in port for a certain number of hours. We were dropped off at the top of the cable car about 5.5 hours after the tour began.
Overall, we had a great time on the tour and would recommend it!

The trip was great value for money as you get to try many wines and the cheese/meat platter you get at the final venue is very substantial. We were in a group of 8 which was just the right size for it to feel inclusive. We had a great time with our group and the trip was enjoyable. Transfers were all on time and service at the venues were professional.
Good variety of venues and our host was very friendly and knowledgable of wines. Would highly recommend!

Our tour was amazing. Our guide, Dora, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made everyone feel comfortable and was able to answer all questions no matter how specific. Our tour had folks who weren't as versed in wine and she made them feel comfortable as well. We visited 4 wineries with tapas at each. I was surprised by how much wine we tasted! At least 4 generous pours at each one and our final stop had about 5-6. The sunset at the final winery was absolutely beautiful. This is by far the best wine tour I've been on. A must do in Santorini.

Great and worthwhile tour for anyone interested in wine! We had a fantastic guide by the name of Stratos who led us through production and tasting in three different locations, sharing great knowledge on the history and details of wine production on Santorini and Greece in general. The tour concluded with a sunset wine tasting on the caldera rim, which was just lovely. With only 8 people in the group plus Stratos, the atmosphere was very intimate and warm.

This was one of our favorite activities we did in Santorini during our honeymoon. It was a really fun way to see parts of the island. The wine was delicious and there was plenty of it! The Assyrtiko was my favorite. The last winery Santos that you stop at had the most beautiful views and the sunset was gorgeous! My only comment would be is it’s not much of a meal that is served but a lot of cheese and appetizer type foods. Overall great tour and we would definitely recommend!

Stratos was a charming host and guide. Not only an education on wine tasting, but also how the vines are grown in Santorini and where and how the Wine is made. When driving, we also got a historical idea of the Island. Hadzidakis Winery was where the initial tasting took place. I was educated on how to smell and taste wines like a pro (although I am nothing like a pro). Watching the sunset with more tasting and food, then on to the third wine tasting of the evening with more local dishes. This wad more than worth every penny we paid. Bravo to a fantastic afternoon / evening and a special thank you to Strats, what a lovely charming man.

Hi, I'm interested in booking this as a surprise gift for our friends. Can anyone tell me if there would be flexibility for our friends to change the date during their stay, if the date we choose is not suitable? Thanks
