- After hotel pickup, board a deluxe catamaran at the marina. Cruise past the island’s most scenic bays, beaches, and coastal landmarks. Pass a historic Lighthouse, and sail inside Santorini’s dramatic sunken caldera, where you can get off the boat to soak in naturally heated volcanic hot springs. Stop at the distinctive red- and white-sand beaches to swim in the clear blue Aegean and snorkel with provided gear, if you like. Recharge with a Greek-style barbecue lunch featuring grilled chicken and pork skewers, grilled veggies, and white Greek wine. Finally, the tour ends when you return to dry land and your hotel.

- All yachts and boats in Greece cannot moor directly on the beach. Captain has selected the best points for swimming and snorkeling, the closest possible from the beach.

- Hot Springs: It is good to know that catamarans stay 50 meters away from the warm yellowish waters of the “Hot Springs”. Guests swim securely close to the volcano. Temperature of the Hot sulfuric Springs, up to 4ºC warmer than the clear waters.
- A day before the tour, the cruise operator will confirm you pick up time and place. Please, provide contact details.
- Passengers have to remove their shoes before embarkation.

The two 30-minute swimming stops were cut to just 20 minutes, and the 90-minute stop at White Beach was actually at Black Beach, lasting only about 30 minutes. - 721stephenf0 contributionsCouples Cruise in SantoriniA fun day with my wife on the 38 Lagoon private trip. Boat was well equipped and clean. Captain and sailor were knowledgeable and safe. Lunch was outstanding and well prepared. Swim spots were great as were the views. However this was not a “Sail” trip but a motorcruise on a sail catamaran. These trips appear to be big businesses on Santorini (as is everything tourist related). No way to count the number of other boats out doing the same. I will say, from an optics standpoint, Sunset Oia appeared to be the class of the fleet. I would avoid the outfits that pile people on a boat. Looked miserable. The sailing staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The bbq dinner was delicious with choice of chicken or pork and several side dishes. Unlimited beer and wine. We were picked up at our hotel at 1:30pm and didn't get home until after 9pm. Watching the Oia sunset from the catamaran was a once in a lifetime experience. Prior to the sunset, we sailed to a few other beaches and had several opportunities to swim off the boat. They are super organized - they pick you up and drop you off as well. Our crew, Captain George, George and Georgia, were absolute gems and totally made the experience! They played great music, made an amazing dinner and overall were just incredibly warm and hospitable. The views and swimming spots were fantastic - the water here is just so clear and refreshing! Time to get ‘ship’ faced! Well…. Not when you have a two year old with you! I must say, I was super impressed with all the crew on the cruise who were brilliant with our baby. I would recommend anyone wanting to do this with children to book the (premium-semi private tour) it’s much less people and a bigger boat! BBQ was delicious and the drinks kept flowing. Plenty time to swim and snorkel too! A must do if you’re visiting Santorini.

This was an amazing experience! First, it was convenient. All we had to do was be at the entrance to our hotel at the designated time. I do recommend double-checking the exact time to be picked up if they don't explicitly tell you the day before just for peace of mind. For us, it was a quick bus ride, but plan for at most 45 minutes each way depending on where your hotel is. Second, we absolutely loved the catamaran itself. The size of the group we were with was perfect; about 10 other people to have good conversations with but not too many where it was too loud/annoying. Everything was perfect: the crew was nice and welcoming, the food was delicious, swimming was fun, and the sunset was amazing! We loved the route our catamaran took, but just note that the route advertised on the website could change depending on the weather/water conditions. That was the only thing that wasn't 100% clear, but even with the change of the route from what was advertised, we still loved it. This was such a unique way to experience Santorini while also being super relaxing! I can't recommend this enough!

The Sunset Amalfi crewJulio,Stefanos and Helen were fantastic; friendly and really accommodating!!! Stefanos was informative about the area, and Captain Julio ensured we got the best spots to snorkel and swim.
Stefanos was the “grill master” , and he made us a delicious BBQ with pork, chicken, and Helen added to it with salads and pasta. There plenty of waters, soda’s, and beer/wine to quench our thirst.
It was a high point of our time on Santorini.

My husband and I had a great time on the semi-private catamaran experience around Santorini. We read a lot of reviews and were so happy we went with Sunset Oia. The captain and the crew were very friendly and the whole trip didn’t seem rushed. Amenities were VERY clean and seemed almost new! They offered clean towels to use, amazing food, beverages, snorkeling masks (no mouth piece), and floaties to make our time in the water enjoyable. We had a good amount of time at each spot too!
As a fair warning, the “hot pools” part of the stop WILL stain light colored swimsuits orange from the sulfur. So be warned. I would wear a black or dark green or blue if you want to go in there or just skip that part if you would like. The water really isn’t that much warmer haha.
Overall, great experience! We are so happy we chose to spend money on this excursion!

We were in Greece with our daughters and several friends suggested a boat cruise. Our hotel recommended the Diamond Cruise because they departed and returned from the same port in Oia, and Sunset Oia didn't have to drive you 40 minutes across the Island to reach the drop off or pick up point. We chose the day cruise so we would have the rest of the day free. There were 16 guests on board, 3 families and the rest were couples. The staff and guests were very friendly. The lunch was delicious. Swimming in the caldera and beaches was wonderful, the water is incredibly clear (you don't actually set foot on the beach - red beach has landslides and is unsafe). Santorini is beautiful and we loved seeing it from a boat. This was our favorite activity in Santorini and we would highly recommend!

Before going into detail, I must say this was the best trip excursion my family has ever taken. I had booked a morning trip for my party of 5 people on a catamaran that had a capacity of 14. We were picked up near our hotel in Fira and driven to Ammoudi Bay in Oia where the sail starts from. We boarded our catamaran called the Sunset Delos and we found ourselves as the only passengers sailing on this cruise. What a treat-we had the entire boat to ourselves! We were introduced to Captain Alex and the crew consisting of Raraela and Yannis.This staff went out of their way to ensure that my family had a great time with the extraordinay level of service and hospility they provided. Beautiful sail to the hot springs where we were able to swim into. The sail continued as we cruised down the Santorini shore to White Beach where we were provided snorkeling gear. We snorkeled while Raraela and Yannis prepared a beautiful bbq lunch. They actually cooked the meal on a charcoal grill located on the stern of the boat. This was not a snack-this was a gourmet luch which was varied, plentiful, and delicious. Wine, beer, and soft drinks flowed freely throughout the trip. We ended our trip with a swim off of Red Beach before sailing to Akrotari to conclude the experience. We were driven back to our hotel after the cruise.
I have been on many sailing/snorkeling trips, some good, some not so good. Sunset-Oia on the catamaran was hands down the best excursion I have ever taken. The crew, the beautiful boat, and the Agean Sea made this a most memorable experience my family and I will never forget. Thanks to the crew of Captain Alex, Raraela, and Yannis.
If you are visiting Santorini, you should not miss this trip.

This was an excellent experience despite the cloudiness and lack of sunset. Our crew, Heras and Adonis, were constantly making sure that every need was met for all 18 passengers. Captain Adonis made sure that we were aware of any pertinent information. Heras prepared an excellent meal on the ship and even provided the recipe for the delicious shrimp saganaki. Adonis did a fantastic job of grilling the chicken or pork to perfection. Despite the lack of a visible sunset, this crew did their best to make sure we all enjoyed our time onboard. Definitely something to do while in Santorini!!

This was a great boat and the crew was fantastic. My disappointment was in the size of the group. I paid extra to have a "small group" that was supposed to be a maximum size of 14 people, but there were 20 guests on the boat. The extra people meant there wasn't room in the sun for everyone.

The crew - George, Mary and Yannis were all wonderful, keeping our glasses full and making sure we had everything we needed. We stopped three times to swim and snorkel, and with the small group, we had plenty of good seating around the boat to enjoy the sailing. The boat was clean and neat and the on board meal was great. Yannis has a great sense of humor and we all enjoyed his explanations of Santorini history. My favorite parts were the swimming and snorkeling, and the sunset views at the end of the day.

Without a doubt this is one of the best boats I have ever been on . Yes, the smaller group is more expensive but wow!!! Well worth the extra money. The lovely Kostas sailed us through some pretty windy seas effortlessly Lunch was lovely especially the stuffed vine leaves and sakanaki (prawns with feta). ABC finally the lovely sunset. What an beautiful end to a wonderful day. The staff are all knowledgeable and can talk you through all the things you see and don’t need prompting to do this. My only fault was I had to get off. Thank you Kostas, Sailor Tomi, sailor Vagelis and hostess Fotim- (amazing sakanaki!! ) 5 stars from me .. yasou!!! Love Alexandra x
