Don't Miss Captain Ted's Santorini Sailing
This activity was one of the highlights of our visit to Santorini. Captain Ted himself piloted the catamaran; he and the crew were so entertaining and hospitable. The boat was clean, easy to walk about and fun. The BBQ lunch was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend Captain Ted's Santorini Sailing.

    The Best sail boat experience
Captain Ted and his Crew were all top notch . I ended surprising my girlfriend with a private sail boat that also had a private shuttle from hotel to marina. We set sail at 9am with two mates ( Billy and Chris who were amazing!! ) Beautiful boat, wind was strong which was perfect for sailing, Great views of the island ! after sailing around the island we ended up near the volcano crater , calmer water and then Billy & Chris started to prepare a Fresh and beautiful spread for Lunch Grilling and using the kitchen inside the boat! The Meal they made us was AMAZING. We then went swimming if a few areas around the island/ volcano Crystal clear blue water, lava rock bottoms floor , got to see different angles of the island was amazing. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO VISIT SANTORINI THIS IS A MUST TO PLAN AND BOOK CAPTAIN TED SANTORNI PRIVATE OR GROUP .

    Save your money!
Save your money for a private boat!!! The actual sailing and boating part of the trip was wonderful. Crew was amazing. So sweet and helpful. Boat was spacious, other passengers were fun. It was the transportation to and from that ruined the day. We were picked up at our hotel at 1:30 pm, made multiple stops to pick up others, were in the back of a van that was SO hot and the driver wouldn't put up his window. Zero air. People were late to show up to the van, finally got to the dock and were put in a holding pen crowded with hundreds of others waiting for their boats as well. Boats pulled up one by one to unload and re-load. Painstaking process. The boat stopped at the same places that everyone else went to, nothing too special, just crowded even where we stopped to swim. Van ride home was 1.5 hours to go what took us 20 minutes the next day in a taxi. Find a boat company that leaves from a different marina!!!! Not worth the money.

A beautiful and memorable sailing tour
Amazing. Just absolutely amazing. This whole sailing tour from enjoying the view and eating the fantastic greek food to watching the sunset is such an incredibly beautiful experience. There is seriously not one specific part of this trip that wasn’t good. I was a tourist coming to santorini and this tour should be at the top of your must-do lists. I seriously recommend it and everything was a 10/10 experience. Go take this tour now!

They returned my hat to my hotel! :)
I left my hat on the boat and they returned it to my hotel!!! I would give them 5/5 stars just for that, but the entire experience was great. My husband and I booked the Exclusive Sunset Cruise. Our captain Nancy (sp?) was awesome. He was very informative and fun. His crew was friendly and the food they cooked on board was delicious.

    Great experience, amazing greek food.
Staff was polite and professional, food was the highlight of this trip. Could have spent more time on the swimming spots and use the sails, since the way back was very slow and arrived early. But worth the trip!

Perfect day on the boat to experience the caldera
Triton day your was absolutely perfect. We got lucky and got the boat for ourselves. Besides that though, Petros & the crew have been great to make us experience the Greek « philoxenia ». Great way to discover the Caldera and realize that this is really just one big & gorgeous volcano. Ending in Oia is also a great way to time its visit in the week. And you are naturally pretty much done by sunset and ready for the view.

    Best boat tour ever!
Our family of four took the afternoon/sunset Triton Cruise. Our crew of Capt. Dimitri and Petros were amazing. The Triton was perfect for us. Petros shared so much knowledge and history which we loved. He cooked a delicious lunch of seafood, pasta, chicken, vegetables, Greek salad and bread-for us which far surpassed our expectations. His energy and attention to detail were unbelievable. This tour really made our time in Santorini and it culminated with an epic sunset. Thank you and I highly recommend.

Best way to see the island
Touring Santorini on a boat is a must, and our experience here was perfect. They both pick you up from wherever you are staying on the island and drop you off afterwards. Our boat had plenty of room to move around and was not crowded at all. We stopped at many famous spots in Santorini to swim which was very refreshing after being on the boat for a while. We had Anastasia on our boat and she was excellent, as was the rest of the crew. The food was fresh and cooked right on the boat. Hard to beat the views from this experience.

    Amazing Daytime Cruise!
The entire experience was fantastic. Our family of 4 shared a boat with another couple and we had a beautiful afternoon. We loved our captains and the boat was beautiful. We were expecting a little lunch but did not expect the beautiful, delicious spread they put out. We stopped a couple of times so that we could get in the water a bit. Highly recommend.

A Truly Unforgettable Excursion You Will LOVE!!
This was my second time booking a sailing excursion with Captain Ted's Santorini Sailing and both times it has definitely been the highlight of our vacation! If you are lucky enough to have Pedro (Pepe) on board as part of your experience, you will have such a fantastic day! He has such a magnetic charm about him, which only adds to his amazing chef skills. The attention to detail you will experience on board will blow you away! Pepe does such a great job of being the best tour guide...sharing interesting stories and facts about Santorini in impeccable English, while preparing delicious Greek dishes and keeping your wine glass full with the best local wine! His pride for his country and passion for sharing his recipes will create a memory you will never forget! Do not hesitate to book this excursion! We were on the Triton boat with Pepe and Captain Dimitri, who was also amazing. I would give it ten stars if I could!

We weren’t on the dreamcatcher. We were supposed to be, but got bumped to a smaller boat meant for private tours, which was nice. There were only 10 people on our boat instead of 20-30, so that was a nice surprise. The staff was very nice and seemed knowledgeable about the places we stopped. We were not able to snorkel as planned due to water being too rough that day. That was disappointing, but no one’s fault obviously. We read many reviews and this sailing company was recommended to us. Many reviews talked about how interactive the crew was and there was even one we saw where the crew had a birthday cake for someone who was celebrating a birthday the day they sailed with them. We did not have this same experience. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, it wasn’t even acknowledged much less celebrated. Our 8 year old daughter was with us and was the only child on board. We felt like they could have interacted with her more and made it more fun for her like let her sit with the captain and steer for a minute or something. No one seemed to really care she was there. When we asked about a life jacket for her simply due to the rough water and not wanting her to have to work so hard to stay near the boat, we were answered with the question of “can’t she swim?” And they just looked us. You could tell they didn’t want to get out a life jacket. Another couple on board got the exact same response when the wife wanted a life jacket. They ended up not swimming at all. Although the food was very very good, all of the beer was warm. They were not prepared for people wanting to be on an all day booze cruise, which we paid for. Overall we made the best of it and enjoyed ourselves, we were just left feeling disappointed.

Overall, this was a great cruise to relax and enjoy the Aegean sea.

**Keep in mind that if you're looking for a wild drunken party boat, this ain't it.**

Our ship was the Escape. The crew's service was top notch. They were friendly, spoke multiple languages to accommodate everyone. The ship was very nice and super clean. Onboard, we had unlimited local drinks. The BBQ chicken and pork were seasoned with local spices and grilled to perfection. Portions were plentiful.

I must mention how Captain Tom saved the day. My group had a problem: our friend was running late to meet us at the sailing port due to a ferry delay. Instead of allowing my friend to miss this wonderful experience, Captain Jack stepped in took my friend to meet us at the first sailboat stop in his speed boat. He arrived looking like a VIP. Helluva way to make an entrance.

We didn't have to ask Captain Tom to do this, he saw that it would make our group happy and he just did it. I offered him more money for this excellent service and his response was "Nothing for me. Please just take care of my crew". What a great guy!

Big shout out to Captain Tom's teenage sons who helped bring our friend out to the boat.

I loved The Escape. The vessel is well-maintained and the crew is friendly. They are all very professional and attentive. Our trip began with their staff coordinating pick-up which was seamless. My friend actually left her personal bag at the pick-up location and they were able to arrange for the staff to keep it safe until our return. The weather was hot and sunny and the winds not too rough. They explained things well. Now, the food was AWESOME. The crew and chef made some of the most magnificent and flavorful dishes I had thus far in Greece. The sunset was magical. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful and memorable! First and foremost, the crew who was running the catamaran and took care of us! So kind, caring and generous and full of insights about the island, about anything maritime and truly hospitable - leading the ship, serving lunch etc. The tour and duration was perfect with several stop overs for picture taking and swimming. Especially the swim near the sulphur place was great!! Authentic greek lunch was delicious and the views throughout magnificent. The transfer was super smooth and seamless and there was a little shop at the port where we could get snacks (although not needed, since provided on the boat). Overall, spectacular experience and a "must do" when in Santorini. Thank You team Santorini Sailing!!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I would give zero stars if it were an option. They did not meet me at the pick up spot, which was not at the hotel as they advertise, and then they refused to refund me my money or assist me with rebooking the cruise. When I called customer service, the woman I spoke to was the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever spoke to in my life! She proceeded to yell at me on the phone; people around me were in awe as they could hear her screaming at me from a distance. There are way better companies out there, so avoid this one unless you want to get ripped off!!! The company will likely respond to this negative review, so take their comments with a grain of salt.

Excellent experience from start to finish. We booked the afternoon/evening tour on the Dream Catcher with hotel pick-up and drop off which ran very smoothly. The whole crew are very professional and created a great atmosphere on board. Very clean boat and facilities. The traditional Greek food/BBQ served was absolutely delicious !! Would absolutely recommend this tour and I would do it again !

The captain and staff were very attentive and informative. Our trip was on a very windy day and we got soaked- make sure you don't sit at the front like we did! However the boat felt very safe. The bbq food was amazing and plenty of, as were the drinks. A quick dip into the hot springs was delightful, we had plenty of time to venture around. Can't fault the experience, would definitely recommend.

Definitely worth booking a trip with this company while in Santorini. Very attentive and polite crew with great knowledge of the history of Santorini and the surrounding area - very grateful for all that they shared including the bbq food and drink during our 5 hour journey. Please note; although we did not sail on the dreamcatcher as originally booked - the boat that we were assigned was in excellent condition and a perfect size to accommodate the 15 guests. Thank you to the Captain and his crew!

We booked the Dream Catcher and they decided to put us on another catamaran that was completely inferior on every level to the Dream Catcher. It was a deceptive move, boring and I am extremely upset with this sneaky switch. I was on the Dream Catcher in 2014 and 2019 and loved it. I would have never booked this catamaran. The drinks including water were all warm, there was no ice. The food was served as a sit down meal with barely any choices. The music was barely on. I couldn’t wait to go back to the hotel!!!

We had booked the dreamcatcher because we love people watching and wanted to spend the time with more people rather than a smaller number of people. We were put on a different boat....only 15 people. There was a group on the boat who took over. They made sure they got their food first and left others with barely anything to eat. They took over the seating area at the front of the boat and spent their day giving dirty looks. The cruise itself was beautiful and we loved the boats all coming back into harbour. The crew were friendly and knowledgeable. We seen the dreamcatcher go past us and definitely felt as if we'd been short changed. Made the most of the day ourselves but I would Def advise to speak out if you are put on a different cruiser
