- Choose between a daytime tour or a sunset tour, and then meet a driver at your hotel (or the nearest road access point) for transfer to Vlychada Marina. Find a comfortable place on deck while the crew raises the sails, and set out across the Aegean Sea for a photo stop off Red Beach, whose high cliffs and sand are a brilliant hue. Next, continue towards White Beach (pass by) and stop at the bay of Mesa Pigadia for a swimming and snorkeling break, slipping into the water with great views. Keep your camera out as you sail past Indian Rock and the Venetian Lighthouse, and then navigate right into Santorini's broad volcanic caldera. Swim to an undersea hot springs, sail past the still-active Santorini Volcano, and anchor off Nea Kameni for a swim and a meal. You'll enjoy a hearty buffet lunch or dinner, washed down with Santorini white wine and soft drinks, before sailing back. to Vlychada for the return transfer to your hotel.

We, an international party of 10, boarded the "Caldera" with Cpt Nikos and sailor Pablo. We were welcomed by 2 warm and friendly faces who did not waste any time in giving a safety (including COVID-19 related) and house-rules briefing.
Cpt Nikos made sure that his role and responsibility as a captain was understood but more importantly he ensured that everybody felt safe and well looked after. That was about the only serious 10 minutes of the trip as the fun started immediately after.
The trip went perfectly along schedule in a natural and stressfree rythm, where Pablo looked after our needs. After several visits and swims, he catered a buffet for the guests while even accomodating my Vegan diet as much as possible. Very much appreciated!
The afternoon was accompanied by timeless music and non-commercial classics apropariate to the moment: swim, dinner, sunset and cpt. Nikos gave us the best possible sunset experience as the last boat out of the port. His professional experience and personal story, combined with anecdotal intermezzi was fascinating, and provided more insight in the history of the island, making the experience even better/memorable.
Would we repeat the experience? DEFINITELY, and of course on the CALDERA with cpt. Nikos and Pablo. Thank you so much

As soon as we arrived at the caldera 2 catamaran, Ilias , Zikos. ,Borhan, was very friendly and made us feel very welcome , We had 10 people on our sunset cruise , leaving at 3pm .we was informed of the Itinerary by the captain And he was full of fantastic stories about the Island and it’s history, The food was amazing , and you had plenty of time to swim in the sea during the cruise, The best part of the tour was the unbelievable sunset , listening to chilled out music as sun faded away , this tour is a must and the guys make it extra special, we will definitely book this again when we return

We went to the boutique in Oia and we met Peter. I definitely recommend to go meet him, he was honest, took into account the weather conditions to advise and organise the 7 days we spent in Santorini.
The result : we spent a incredible trip and we had the best weather condition for all of our activities.
This is included walking from oia to fira without missing any reknown place, half a day in a catamaran. He also rented a car, allowing us to visit the island, going to famous beatches.
In summary, Peter was perfect, you should not hesitate, he is located in Oia (just ask Spiridakos in Oia) and everything was done at a very competitive price.
Peter if you read this, thanks again for everything !

Petro, Despina, and Pabli were our crew for this cruise. They really worked hard, to ensure we had a good time. There was good food and drink, some careful dancing, and enjoyment of the sunset.
The visit to the sulfer springs was very brief, but adequate. Many boats were trying to get in and out due to it's popularity, and there were some waves adding to the challenge of getting in and out.
The sunset was beautiful, true to the commitment of having a sunset cruise. Total cruise time was about 5 1/2 hours.
* With the pick-up, the driver did not enforce mask-wearing of four people. This was a troubling situation traveling with partyers in their 20's - often prime carriers of Covid. They could keep disposable ones in the van and charge 4 Euro for this situation. For that reason, one star taken off the review.

Had a really great day out on the Happy Day boat with Captain Zikos, Katerina and Michalis. Beautiful views throughout, three swimming stops, a standard dinner, and a great sunset view. The price during COVID for the 5 hour cruise was incredibly reasonable, 90 euros per person, which is apparently almost half the price during the standard busy tourist season.
Given how much we got for the price, the things I would’ve improved would probably be impossible without a dramatic price increase, so I don’t have any actual complaints so much as observations that future travelers might find helpful. Again, this trip is incredible value for the cost.
1). A lot of competitor cruises advertise unlimited beer and wine as an option, but here there’s one standard white and no beer. It’s a standard table white, nothing to write home about but easy drinking on the boat.
2). The meal was pretty good and filling given that it’s being prepared in a tiny boat kitchen; as with the wine, it’s a regular meal, good but not fancy: Greek salad, spaghetti, dolma, tzatziki, chicken and some packaged cookies for dessert. Completely reasonable meal for the overall trip price.
3). The staff get a little too freaked out if you swim more than about 10m from the boat, so don’t expect to be able to explore much while you’re in the water. It’s more of a quick dip with some fish watching.
4). The return van trip was seriously bizarre in that the driver seemed to go out of his way to take the longest possible routes between different drop off points, easily adding an hour to what should have been a 20 minute return journey, which no one was in the mood for after a long day on the water. After driving to Thira, instead of just continuing to Meravigli to drop off half the passengers, he cut across to Vourvolous and then drove the far side of the island all the way to Oia, then again instead of taking the direct route down to Meravigli, backtracked and took the same twice-as-long route. It put a damper on an otherwise lovely day.
5) There’s a fair amount of pointing out the obvious: “This [obviously white beach] is White Beach.” “That [lighthouse] is a lighthouse.”

The cruise was wonderful. Pick up was on time (even 10 minutes early!), the catamaran was lovely with enough furniture to relax on and enjoy the cruise around Santorini.
The swimming designated areas were spectacular and perhaps the clearest waters I have seen. Captain Edi and the crew Stella (tour guide) and Borxan (chef) were very friendly and accommodating. Captain Edi is very cheerful and enjoys communicating with everyone. Stella is a great tour guide and is accommodating and helpful with any query the participamts might have/need. Borxan is a great chef, the grilled chicken seasoning was spectacular, as was the wine, tradition Greek salads and the amazing spaghetti.
The highlights of the cruise (afternoon-sunset) were definitely the hot springs and sailing to the Caldera. That journey and the destination are fascinating and incredible. As gorgeous as Santorini is from Fira and Oia, the real beauty of it is seen from a boat off the coast. Seeing the Red beach, white beach and black beach from afar is unreal. The food prepared by chef Borxan was delicious and it felt special enjoying lunch/dinner on the boat.
Lastly, I must thank the driver Alexandros. Despite being truly friendly and accommodating to all the guests, he is a wonderful driver and the drive back to our hotel was relaxing. Alexandros also brought back my towel that I had forgotten on the boat straight to the hotel the next day. I am very appreciative of that, thank you!
Overall, this experience was amazing and unique. I would definitely recommend this cruise around Santorini which highlights all the amazing attractions this island has to offer. Definitely a must for all tourists and visitors!

I should preface this review by stating I have a mild to medium fear of the ocean and boats. Needless to say I had reservations about this cruise. I needn't have.
The cruise was professional, and I appreciated the fact there were only 16 people on the cruise. In light of covid that seems more manageable. Everyone's temperature was checked at the start with hand sanitiser readily available.
There were 3 swimming stops on the tour, and even I was jumping off the boat into the ocean.
The lunch was generous. The only think missing was dessert, but thats just me being pedantic. I have a mild obsession with greek yogurt and fruit salad.
Crew (Petros, Pablo, Despina) were attentive and informative, happy to provide recommendations.
I think the tour could gave done witj another quick swimming stop but otherwise couldnt be happier. As we were leaving the hot springs two crammed tour boats turned up with perhaps 60+ people. Made us glad we spent a bit extra to avoid such a crowded situation.
Would happily do another cruise with thus company.

We were very lucky to be able to visit Santorini in August 2020 after having to postpone our Santorini Wedding we decided to still travel and make it a special trip. We were not let down.... We were collected on time from our agreed meeting point and taken to our boat. We were on board the ‘Happy Day’ boat with Captain Stavros and his his Skipper Anestis aka Octopus Man (he had crazy hair).
With the pandemic in mind, we felt safe and everything was spotlessly clean the whole time.
We stopped off at the usual spots, enjoyed swimming photo opportunities etc but the most special part was watching the sunset from the boat. It was so romantic and we felt so lucky for the experience - the staff show you the best places to stand to enjoy the best views - I was literally on cloud 9!!
Our BBQ food was fantastic and there was lots of it, you were encouraged to keep helping yourself and drinks were topped up whenever you wanted, wine was included in our trip so we made the most of that.
Thank you to Stavros and Octopus Man for such a memorable day! We are currently in the process of re-booking with Spiridakos for our August 2021 trip with 34 of our Wedding Guests.
With the pandemic in mind, we felt safe and everything was spotlessly clean the whole time.

More for couples rather than a family experience. The music was really low and once people had taken a sun lounger spot it was claimed as there’s so you couldn’t enjoy parts of the boat. The music was quite low and didn’t feel very exciting. Very minimal information was provided about the history and where we were stopping and why it was a tourist attraction. It was very cold on the boat and we all ended up poorly after so I would recommend jumpers. The bbq was pasta, chicken breast and salad. Basic and cold but sufficient for the experience. The staff on board were lovely and helpful. Worth while experience and the sunset was beautiful. The boat was beautiful in comparison to the other boats out there which was a great bonus.

We booked this boat trip in advance and was advised we would be picked up at 3pm. We received a call earlier in the day to report a change in pick up time (an hour earlier). The pick up at newly arranged time was very prompt however the transfer to the port was very hectic as our driver was contacted to pick up new people on the way. We then had a long wait at the port, awaiting our boats arrival from previous trip, and there was minimal communication to inform what was happening, nevertheless we were left inside an air conditioned mini van whilst we waited. We were then met by stephanie who introduced us to captain Adonis who welcomed us and explained we were running late, and would have to rush through some areas of the tour to ensure we got to the sunset on time. Both Steph and Adonis were excellent throughout, providing safe travel and relevant information at appropriate locations. The food was prepared by the crew and tasted amazing, consisting of pasta, chicken, bread and salad, and drinks were regularly on hand from wine to soft drinks whenever we wanted. We visited the red and white beach, and stayed for approx 15-20 mins at each, and then headed to the hot springs. This location was very busy and we could not stay long. We were able to have a quick swim. The sunset was breathtaking and by far the best part of the tour. The transfer home was much better than earlier, everybody was directed into a larger mini bus and dropped off at relevant locations

Hi, local Santorini beer and white wine are complimentary on the classic catamaran cruise and semi-private premium cruise. In comparison, the semi-private luxury cruise offers complimentary local Santorini beer, white wine and cocktails. Please note that cocktails are limited to 2 per person. This was so much fun! Have a blast!

Does the daytime cruise leave from Ammoudi Bay? We see our hotel it listed but want to be sure that the port we are leaving from is Ammoudi. I see it listed as a port option, but it is unclear if the boat leaves from here. We are looking to book for tomorrow, but want to confirm first. Thank you!

So sorry for late reply!!! You need to make sure you book the catamaran cruise form Ammoudi bay because then you see sunset at the right place.
The catamaran cruise people will let you know which cruise to take for Ammoudi bay and it is important to confirm them 🙏

Is there snorkeling on the afternoon sunset cruise? Do you provide the snorkels and masks? We are thinking the first week in October will it still be a 5 hr sail? Thanks

There is but it was after the food for us which for me was a no no.
They provide cheap snorkeling gear which is hard plastic so I wore my own.
As for duration no idea , perhaps email them direct ?

Hi, yes there are enough seats for everyone. You can swim to the beaches and I guess you could walk in there. They anchor for a while. We went in May, to avoid the crowds, and the water was very cold. A few brave souls jumped out, and were back soon after. It was a lovely experience.

Hi Elise, I cannot answer for certain. There were no children on our boat (but that might be as it was school term time?) .
From my point of view there would be no reason that well behaved older children could not go (As a parent I might have been worried if I had smaller children onboard, especially with moving about the boat).
