Even though we did not book our services with them initially, Omarz and his team went above and beyond to support us during our safari trip when things didn’t go as expected due to a vehicle breakdown. Omarz was available day and night, including weekends, to ensure that we could continue our journey smoothly. We had an amazing time on our safari; our two guides, Mudi and Abdul were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and they tried very hard to ensure we had the best trip. Everything went smoothly, the boat trip, game drive, and nature walk were all outstanding and I'd highly recommend. On the drive, Mudi was very respectful of the animals, and didn't get too close which we highly appreciated, as we saw other drivers from other companies not doing this which resulted in animals becoming stressed, which wasn't nice to see. We were grateful of his approach, plus it means that you get to see the animals for longer, as they don't run away scared! From the very start, Connect African Safaris really impressed me with their great communication and professionalism. Also, after we had left and travelled to Zanzibar, my son realised that he had left a sentimental item at our accommodation in Nyerere! I contacted Connect African Safaris and they worked so hard, and above and beyond, to get it back to us, and sent it on a ferry to Zanzibar! As you can imagine, this was greatly appreciated, and I have never experienced such commitment to helping others from a company before. A special mention to Sheryl who tried hard to arrange a flight for us, and booked our ferry tickets 😊 Thank you so much Abdul, Mudi, Sheryl and Omah; you all helped make our trip perfect, and one that we will remember forever 🙏🏻

Excellent experience overall and had a great time between the hotel accommodations and the safari. Would recommend for anyone interested in a private safari especially if you’re visiting Dar es Salaam and want to get the most out of your time in Tanzania.

My girlfriend and I decided to take our first wildlife safari during our recent visit to Zanzibar. We really enjoyed the experience of seeing large animals close by, Elephants, giraffes, Zebras, lions, hippos, crocodiles and many more. The lodge was a nice surprise, very clean with running water. Our guide Appolo was so kind and very knowledgeable and took us to so many corners of the park. The Connect Safarus team made the booking process easy and straightforward and Halima our agent travelled with us and she was ready to assist throughout the 3 days. Sheryl at their offices was attentive and easy to communicate with. The price of the tour was also affordable to us. However, when we went the first day there was a lot rain and our boat Safari was delayed by rains, so we had a long and enjoyable lunch at the lodge while waiting.

Connect African Safaris were very helpful during our trip planning, we were very nicely welcomed at the landing strip by our tour consultant Thecla and our guide and jeep driver, Apollo, who took us on a very interesting game drive. He is very knowledgeable and shared with us very interesting information in a very calm and pleasant manner. Following the drive, we arrived at our Tented Lodge for the night. The lodge was much nicer than we expected, very clean and nicely laid out. The food was good and staff were also very kind. The next morning before our safari drive to Dar Es Salam, we were offered a free river tour, followed by breakfast at the Lodge. At the end of our trip we were welcomed to our hotel booked by Connect African Safaris. There we had a lovely dinner with a great selection of international cuisine. Thank you for a lovely ending to our great trip to Tanzania.

The safari tour was really well organized, everything has been taken care of: game drives, accomodations, food. We did a private safari and our driver did everything according to our wishes and needs. We saw amazing animals from super close, had nice lunch in the nature and we also liked staying at Camp Bastian: It was clean and the food was delicious. We also did a hike in the Uluguru Mountains with a private guide and had amazing views and learned so much about the nature and people there. We would highly reccomend Connect African Safaris to anyone!

Having already been on a safari with my wife in Kenya, we wanted to redo it in Tanzania with our daughter, one of her dreams. We were not disappointed by this safari from the start to the end. Firstly, the program discussed and put together with Sheryl matched our expectations. The safari was beautiful and allowed us to see our favourite animals (Lions for my daughter, elephants for my wife, and giraffes for me). We were lucky enough to see more than 20 lions in the park, and above all witnessed a rare scene, the lion hunt: 8 lions chasing a wildebeest. A mythical scene was experienced. It was worth staying for over half an hour watching the scene. It was an experience we'll never forget. Thank to, connect Africa, to our experienced driver and our French-speaking guide Michael for this gift 😊 Connect Africa is an agency run by Tanzanians, which we were looking for, offering fair prices and customer-oriented people. Sheryl was flexible with our last requests and put us in touch with another agency in Zanzibar, Juma, who concocted a tailor-made program that met our expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and safari connect Africa and Juma. Thanks for letting us continue dreaming. We will come back with friends -😊

My husband and I decided to Celebrate our 10-year anniversary with a Safari, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our Safari guide was amazing we saw all the animals we wanted to see. We also told him we saw elephants at the zoo on one of our first dates, so he always made sure to stop where there were elephants because of how special they were to us! Sheryl was also amazing to work with, we had some issues with our time off from work but she created an itinerary that worked for us. She went above and beyond because all the lodges and places we stayed were amazing! They had beautiful views and it always at a perfect location to relax after a day out with all the animals. I would highly recommend it! We are hoping to take our daughters next time we go and will definitely come back to Connect.

This was an amazing experience. From seeing tons of animals (elephants, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, lions, impalas, vultures, and a bunch of different birds) everywhere, to the excellent hotel stay (Camp Bastion, which had a delicious dinner, breakfast, and bar!!). Our guide, Francis, was particularly awesome. He was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and funny hosting (enduring? :) ) us throughout the 2 days. He'd spot any animal he could see and drive up as close as he could without disturbing them. One big highlight was that he was also able to find a group of lions one morning before anyone else in the entire park through sheer tracking/by eye! We also had a flight out to Zanzibar the last day of the safari and Francis drove us all the way back to the airport, which of course saved us a lot of scheduling headache from our end. Throughout booking and organizing the details, Sheryl was super kind and communicative! It made the whole process very streamlined and easy!

Had an absolutely amazing time at Mikumi National park with this incredible team! They went above and beyond & made sure we had the best time. Our safari guide was fantastic and so lovely. We also went to a Maasai village in the morning before we left which was another huge highlight getting to learn and see their way of life. Thank you again, we’ll be back!!!

We had an amazing two day safari at Mikumi National Park with Connect African Safaris. They were so welcoming on our arrival and looked after us thoroughly throughout our trip. We arrived in the evening of our first day and enjoyed an unforgettable sunset game drive through the park. This was followed by a lovely dinner and overnight stay at Tan Swiss Lodge. The following day we visited the Maasai village, which was an incredible experience, before setting off on our journey back to Zanzibar. Our driver Davis was truly one of a kind and made our trip even more special. I would definitely recommend Connect African Safaris to anyone looking for an enjoyable and stress-free safari.

Such a nice experience ! The most is the day of the game drive to see the animals in the reserve. Spectacular ! We saw all animals and the landscapes are incredible ! The guide and the driver were very professional, and knew perfectly the reserve and the small roads. We were most of time alone (without other 4x4) so it was incredible. Sheryl was so kind and very professional as well, such a nice person ! We recommend 100% Connect African Safari ! Thank you Sheryl !

We had a very special experience seeing all the wild animals. Sheryl and our driver Davis did everything they could to make our trip a bucket list experience. We loved it!

My girlfriend and I had the most wonderful experience. Our full tour was so well organized and our guide was so kind and friendly, we miss him already .. We got lucky with the game drive and even saw a leopard. The evening accommodation was exceptional in small and cozy huts ,and the local food was delicious .I highly recommend choosing these safari tours you will have a wonderful time.
