We first did the Death Valley tour with Mario and he was the friendliest person! Also Monuih came with us and we felt very welcome and comfortable and the tour was both thrilling and full of laughs, if you want pure speed then this tour is what you want. After this first experience we said we really wanted to go and do the south tour and see another part of the island for a longer time (4hours) so we did. All the staff recognised us including Mario and once again we had the best experience of driving and seeing the beautiful sand dunes and ruins on this island. Fabricio and Vagner (unsure of the spelling) were brilliant tour guides once again and made us laugh and feel safe. 100% recommend this experience it enables you to see so much of the island in such a thrilling way :) very happy and will be returning soon hopefully.Written September 12, 2024

The whole team on board were enthusiastic, friendly, motivated and contributed to a vibrant atmosphere. The safety procedures were very clear and each member of the crew was very aware and vigilant. It was very safe for children. Swimming in the sea was very well organised. The entertainment where the crew play music and dance was great to watch, but be ready as they invite you up to dance! It was a lovely cool breeze and a break in the shade from the sun. You could also see the turtles swimming about. If you remember - take your own snorkels and extra towels. It was a great experience and I regret not taking any cash to give a tip - as they earnt it! So I am giving a positive review instead!Written September 2, 2024

- Carmen G0 contributionsAmazing!We had a great time on this trip, the staff was brilliant the whole time, they kept checking on us asking if we were ok for drinks… we had an hour stoppage for swimming and snorkelling. Didn’t see much fish but the swim was nice. We had sandwiches, crisps, olives, cheese and fruit, everything was nice and plentiful. On the way back we had nice music, the staff performed some dances for us and included the people aswell, whoever wanted to join in… Overall was a well spent afternoon with this beautiful crew in SODADE catamaran.Written July 9, 2024

Beat day out by far. We went on the early one which was great as it felt like a day out. The snack on board was good, plenty of free drink flowing all the time including Prosecco which was nice. The crew made you feel at home from the moment we got on the bus. On board was amazing to say the least. After our swim in the sea we settled down for a bite to eat and then the crew came to life dancing and getting the crowd going. Plenty of room on the ship as well. On the way back we were able to catch sight of the flying fish which was also a first. Had we done this earlier in the week I think we would have booked another trip out. The young girl as part of the crew with the red hair was full of joy and was a bundle of fun. No complaints and I hope they run this tour for many years to come

First Class Excursion. What I like most about this excursion - and cape Verduans, generally - is a real desire to help and to look after everyone. First class service. If you’re looking for a first class luxurious experience, look elsewhere. But if you value fun and a ‘nothing’s too much trouble’ attitude, then look no further. Everybody joins in the fun, be it swimming or fishing or a first class “Ladysmith Black Mombasa” style dancing experience. All the crew, and anybody whom they can coax on the deck are treated to a beautiful experience.
We’ll worth any minor inconveniences. Just go with it and have a first class experience.

Nice trip, which must be absolutely great on a warm summer day! For us, it was a bit too cold in Feb, because of the very heavy wind at sea. Also, nothing to see on the snorkeling stop (it is NOT a coral reef where they stop). All arrangements were very fluent, fast and reliable. However Alina, the older tour guide lady, was a bit forced and even unkind towards the bus drivers. She was also pushing the customers for a good rating. This is therefore the third rating we do, but the first one with no one watching. But the entire Solade crew was great! Very frindly and helping, in a fluent and natural way. Pick a warm day for this and you won’t be dissapointed!

Thank you for your review and the comments that is used to improve our services. We are happy that you enjoyed the tour, but we are not sure you got the right information when you booked, since we do not offer profession snorkeling in a special place. The snorkeling that we offer is only an extra, and normally you will only see fish but no corals or anything like on a professional snorkeling trip. About the guide being rude probably there was a misunderstanding as we checked both with the guide and driver and they told us that everything was ok and nothing like this happened.

It was nice to be able spend the morning on the water, but.....
Collection time was not as specified and then once we got to the port, the catamaran was basically full and we were stuck sitting on a storage box at the back of the boat, whilst others cemented themselves on the sun nets at the front. Even worse, the back of the boat was announced as the designated smoking area - for us and the other nice couple who ended up with us stuck on the storage boxes (all non-smokers), it didn't set the trip up at all, and we were constantly having to trying and dodge second hand cigarette smoke for the entire morning.
Staff and safety briefing was good, and safety processes (including small boat transfer) were all good. The trip out to anchor was nice and good to get some sun on the face.
At anchor for snorkelling, staff told us basically you will struggle to see any fish where we are. And they were right. Think we saw one sardine which must have been lost! So why heavily promote snorkelling as part of the trip?
Alcohol seemed to be free flowing and when some sandwiches and snacks appeared, the hoards came running. We preferred to stay in the water, but when the queues dispersed, there was not really any food left to choose from, so another disappointment.
The journey back took the boat out to sea a bit more to extend the time to get back to port, but in doing do, took us all out into choppy seas, which didn't make for a comfortable experience for everyone, which was made even worse by music being blasted at deafening volumes and the now drunk passengers shouting at the top of their voices and dancing all over the place.
Whilst it is always great to get out on the water, and despite the friendliness of the staff (would have been a 1 star review if not for the staff), we wouldn't recommend the experience - save your money and explore other options.

My husband and I booked this trip and haven't enjoyed ourselves so much for a long time. The crew were great, making people feel welcome, and I was so happy to see everyone enjoy themselves with dancing and tropical vibes music. I even did a bit of granny-dancing at one point! Unforgettable trip, highly recommended. Would have booked for another trip but we weren't there long enough. Thank you for a fantastic afternoon.

This is one of the best boat trips I have ever been on. The staff were fantastic. So lively and the dancing was incredible! We all danced with them. The drinks and snacks included made it very good value for money and the fact that cocktails and Prosecco were part of the package was even better! I'd recommend to anyone and would go again! Special shout out to Kayla who was my dancing partner!!

A great day out. Picked up at hotel and taken to the port. A drink on arrival then drinks throughout the trip. Stopped off for a short time for a swim which was fun. You can either go out into the sea on one side or their inflatable pool on the other.
On getting food it was like feeding time at the zoo. No organisation to it and a mad free for all. That would be the only negative point.
More drinks on way back and some music and dancing with the crew if you fancy it.
The crew are really friendly and enjoy having a laugh with the people on board.

Absolutely amazing trip! This honestly was our favourite day of our holiday. Life jackets provided to take a small boat to the catamaran, fizz on arrival & sailed across the sea. Stopped off for a swim where you could snorkel if you wanted to, it was gorgeous. Afterwards a snack was provided & drinks were unlimited too. Myself and my mum had a dance with the crew on the way back which was a real highlight getting involved and enjoying what they do everyday. A lovely group of people who really made the trip what it was, very friendly and full of energy. We were lucky enough to see dolphins too.
I highly recommend this trip for anybody thinking about doing it :-)

The staff on this trip were fantastic. Alina and the crew were so upbeat and really friendly.
Stopped in the snorkelling spot and there were plenty of different kinds of fish to see.
While I do wish we went to a different area as well, this would have bumped up the time and cost. There was plenty to see here, then returned to the boat for some snacks (sandwiches, pizza, fruit etc) then on the way back there was a dance. Very entertaining and had a great time.
Dinghy to the catamaran was fine; life jackets on and staff made sure you were safe and as comfortable as possible, plus you are only on it for 2 minutes to and from the boat.

This experience absolutely blew me away! The entire trip was second to none...the staff were exceptional, going above and beyond at every opportunity. They truly made you feel at home and they were the friendliest and loveliest people we have met on the island! The boat was amazing and so clean too. Couldn't recommend this more!
