This Review is Two Parts:
1) Tour Itself - Randy was awesome. Other than being an awesome chaperone of our group during a busy holiday weekend as the country is opening up, he gave us tips and best practices on how to be a visitor vs. a tourist. Case in Point - Randy obviously knows the itinerary of the boat (where the boat will go, when the boat will turn, etc). Randy told us where to stand and when to get the best views, pictures, where to get wet, where not to get wet. He also told us where to position ourselves on the way back so when the boat docked, we were the first to exit out of dozens of people. When he gave us "alone' time, he was very clear where and when to meet. However, the highlight of the tour was the Cave of the Winds. Other than telling us how to navigate that breathtaking tour, he assisted me with my proposal to my now fiance and took the pictures when I proposed. Randy was amazing.
2) Vacation Itinerary. Dawn was equally as amazing. Over the Falls Tours also offers transportation services to and from (at least) Buffalo / Niagara International Airport. When I was determining how to get to and from our hotel in Niagara, I also noticed on the website they provided transportation services. My research told me that renting a car for a holiday weekend made absolutely no sense so I decided to use them to get to and from Niagara. It was professional limo service to the point that, at the airport and at the hotel, the driver held a sign with our last name (like the movies) waiting for us and taking care of us for the entire ride and also giving a tour as they were driving. And lastly, when I was working with Dawn on the itinerary, she informed me of a better located hotel with possibly better rates and worked that. After a week, she was able to move us from a hotel located a distance away from the downtown to the downtown right across the street from the state park and at a lower rate.
In short, the tour, the hotel, and the transportation to and from the airport / hotel were arranged by Over the Falls Tours. They even helped with my proposal to my now fiance. I expected a tour and got a total solution from Dawn and Randy. How could I possible not give them my highest recommendation? 6 stars out of 5!

Dayna was an absolutely amazing guide! She went above and beyond to give us a terrific Niagara experience. We visited countless sites, Dayna gave us bountiful information about the parks, the politics, and the history of the entire region. More over, she took a small practical joke to the bank. Not only a tour guide, but for us a new friend. Words really cannot describe the level of service we experienced with Over The Falls Tours and especially the true sincerity of Dayna. We highly recommend them for your trip to Niagara Falls and we will definitely be calling them for our winter trip next year!

We all loved being on “Team Christine”!
Christine was our driver AND tour guide. She managed to keep tabs on a full bus load of tourists amidst unusually crowded attractions. “Team Christine” had such diverse cultures and ages, including one needing a wheelchair. Even though some people got lost and caused quite a delay, Christine responded with patience and a great attitude, and made sure we still saw everything on the tour. She is a credit to Over the Falls Tours!

We had a great day, Marty was an outstanding guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. I was glad they used a larger bus, despite the fact there were just 10 of us; this makes getting in/out so much easier. Also, the Cave of the Winds was closed for repair (obviously beyond the operator's control) and by the time the tour finished, the operator had already refunded a portion of our fee to compensate - very much appreciated. Due to this, Marty 'shifted' and we did the Maid of the Mist ride last (instead of first). This actually worked to our benefit as it was a rainy morning and by the time we got on the boat the rain had stopped (tho' you do get wet anyway, it was a lot brighter and almost sunny). The lunch stop at the bakery was really good, appreciated the opportunity for a better lunch that the tourist stops at the Falls. Finally, Marty's All Stars saw a lot more beaver sharks than Nick's team, from what we heard. 🤪

Our tour guide Marty made the tour fun and informative. He took care of his "All Stars" making sure we had tickets and providing information to get the best seats on the Maid of the Mist. He went above and beyond to help folks that had mobility issues
However, we took a free hop on hop off shuttle the day before with a knowledgeable driver. The free shuttle and the tour offered information about the same highlights on the route. Both picked up and dropped off at the hotel.
The tour cost of $140 per person did cover the Maid and cave tickets and of course the delightful Marty. His sign on the shuttle reminded us he expected a minimum of 20% tip.
Was the 4 hour tour worth $168 including tip? I'm going with no. Buy your own tickets and take the free shuttle.

Excellent experience! 10/10 Randy was our tour guide and did an incredible job. We got picked up at our hotel. He took us to Goat Island, Three Sisters Island, Terrapin Point, Cave of the Mists, a great Italian restaurant, Whirlpool State Park, and the Maid of the Mists.
Throughout the entire trip, Randy was patient, thoughtful, thorough, and absolutely enjoyable. He made sure everyone had a great time and moved at an efficient pace. We highly recommend this tour, and you should absolutely ask to see if Randy is available as the tour guide.
PRO TIP!!! Bring sandals and a change of clothes (if you can change quick)! You will get wet with the Cave of the Mists and you will get wet with the Maid of the Mists!
PRO TIP #2!!! After this tour, all that's left to do is to hike in the State Parks. We do not gamble or do the bar scene. Don't plan too much time in Niagara Falls, especially if the weather isn't ideal. Bad weather kills the State Park option.

Wow! In a word WOW!! The tour with Team Paul was amazing. Paul was super entertaining and accommodating. History of the Falls sprinkled with a bunch of laughs made for a great time. The American Falls were great and the experience of the Maid of the Midst boat ride into Horseshoe Falls was incredible and is a spiritual experience you will never forget! Tips: Eat a big breakfast or bring a bag with snacks and drink thermos cuz it’s go go Go! No time for snacking or drinks cuz the group will keep rolling if you dip for a quick drink/snack. Also, wear light clothes you don’t mind getting wet.

This 'Over The Falls' small group tour was thoroughly enjoyable with Nick, who ensured, from start to finish, that each one of us enjoyed the tour. He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotels. His personality is warm, with infectious smiles and laughter that engaged us all. He made certain that the group, which ranged from 7 to 75, all had a great time, and bonded. He educated us with the history, anecdotes, quizzes, kept us appraised of the current point of the itinerary, the timing, things to watch out for, and that we were o.k. He effortlessly kept "Team Nick" moving, with food and drinks, and on time for each phase of the tour. This tour was approximately 4 hours, which was just perfect to see and experience the highlights of the Niagara Falls area. I owe a debt of thanks to Nick and the 'Over The Falls' for finding my cell phone and bringing it back to my hotel. They are incredible!!! - Team Nick

Nick was excellent in personality and knowledge and stories of the area. He was enthusiastic and kept the group entertained. He was very skillful in keeping the group together and recognizing and interacting with the members. He expertly avoided a situation when a unknown person tried to join the group on the bus. He handled the situation excellently. We would highly recommend the tour and our guide without reservation.

This tour was alternately rushing through attractions and waiting for other tour goers who disrespected the groups time by constantly being late back to the bus, further compressing the time at attractions. We wish the guide would have left them. Also, several different groups around the city of Niagara Falls were all told to be waiting for a9:45am pickup, so some groups had to wait as much as 30 minutes. Would not recommend.

This tour is on the American side and does not require a passport or identification including a vaccination status. Many people prefer the Canadian side because it is more commercial IMO because the foliage is mostly taken down near the falls and views are less obstructed. BUT, with that said, the American side is more natural and very, very beautiful. My husband and I were able to see amazing views regardless.
We are not staying at a hotel, where should we meet the tour. We are scheduled for the 1130 on July 30 2022

Any of these answers or you can go there and park as well I believe and they can take you on tour from there.
Are there any food stops available this morning? We are on the 10:00 tour

We stopped towards the end of the tour. My daughter was beyond hungry by that time. Best to pack some food, you can leave it on the bus between stops. If you don’t mind the wait, the bakery food was delicious, there may be limited choices.

Are there a lot of stairs involved at the observation tower?
SeeUSA

I do not recall some of the specifics of stairs but I believe there is an elevator. Trip Advisor guidelines do not allow me to post a link, but if you search “Niagara Falls Observation Tower,” it indicates that there is an elevator. ;)
Our tour guide, Marty, was always looking out for people in our group. He took us to a park, as part of our tour, and coached people on the amount of incline in the path, as it was a bit much for some. The guides take good care of their guests. Hope that helps.
