If you were looking for a comprehensive tour of the town by someone with a love for history and talent as a story teller look no further: Alejandro Villar will give you what you need!
The guide was both impressively knowledgeable (he could answer even our most ignorant questions 😛) and had a subtle sense of humor when explaining.

Alex can easily be one of my favorite tour guides: knowledgeable, great story teller and customizes his trip based on what the customers want. We got a great overview of the history of Queretaro. Great tour, highly recommend!

One of the most informative city tours I have ever taken. We covered over 600 years of history and explored critical locations within the city of Queretaro. I would highly encourage anyone visiting Queretaro to take this tour.

If we could, we would give Alejandro more than 5 stars! We learned so much about Queretaro and Mexican history and culture. Alejandro delivered all of this information with great animation and conviction. With his facial expressions and voices, he entertained while teaching us important and little known facts about the city and the country. Alejandro went over and above time and place constraints to give us the best possible experience and to reward us for our interest. This included staying with us at the Templo de Santa Cruz to translate the Spanish-only tour of this fascinating place. The sad part was that we only had two days in Queretaro and toured with Alejandro on our second day. If we had had more time, we gladly would have taken additional tours with Alejandro because he was so fun, knowledgable, and passionate. Highly recommended!!

If you are looking to: explore historic Querétaro, truly understand Querétaro and Mexican history, and be guided by knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly local this tour is for you.

The duration of the tour will be around 4-hours (ours was a little longer because we stopped for lunch together).

Alejandro Villar has a knowledge, passion, and energy for Querétaro, Mexican, and World history. Throughout our tour he exuded great joy in sharing with our group of four. He is english was outstanding, he was very expressive and entertaining, and created a sort of living history experience. Alejandro is an Architect and has a deep knowledge of colonial Querétaro architecture and design and knows the area very well.

Investing a half-day with Alejandro in Querétaro is something to do if you like history and want to get below the surface and truly understand and experience the rich history of Querétaro and Mexico.

He has an amazing knowledge about Mexican history - he is a kind of walking encyclopedia. Alejandro has a great sense of humor and he even could keep my children busy and interested. He speaks an excellent English and I can highly recommend him for any kind of tours. Thanks Alejandro for sharing your knowledge with us.
