        Very interesting
Went on this tour with a guide called Linda, who showed me around the township and her community, and even where she currently resides it really opened my eyes to how people cope in different situations and environments, but most importantly all these people still smile. Do this kind of tour whenever you can.

        Fantastic comprehensive tour
Our Guide Uushona did a great job in showing us parts of the historic city with plenty of interesting details followed by the tour through the township from many angels, inside, from hill above and walking including market visit. No pressure to buy anything, very discreet. We enjoyed it very much, thanks a lot

        Perfectly spent day in Windhoek
We totally enjoyed the cooking class, with an emphasis on meeting local people and eating the local food we cooked ourselves. Lyaloo and Linda are the best!

Learn about the people of Windhoek
This is a great way to spend a morning. Sunny, my guide was professional, punctual and able to answer my questions about the history of Katutura. Highly recommended!

No drumming experience or rhythm needed. ;-)
Slick guided us cheerful through the drumming session, creating a feeling of togetherness. With his enthusiasm he brought the scenery of this beautiful Country and culture closer to us.

        Super tour, great experience!
Our tour of Windhoek and Katutura was fantastic: our guide, Linda, was helpful, kind, and very knowledgeable. She explained many aspects of the history of the town and met all our requests. We connected with the local population, interacted with many people, and it was a truly interesting experience. We highly recommend the tour with Anchor!

Meet some lovely, local, entrepreneurial people in a township of Windhoek.
We adored our host, Iyaloo, who cooked for us and taught us about the food of the region. We chopped and talked and listened to music and drank beer and had a wonderful time. The food is not for the faint of heart!

        Real Namibian life experience.
What a wonderful way to get to know everyday Namibians. We had a lovely time cooking and socialising with our wonderful women guides. Sharing each other’s cooking music, dancing and chatting about our lives. The food was amazingly delicious, The chicken tasted like none other and the mopani worms were the best in Africa.

        Great bar scene
Where do I start. Linda was amazing. Very resourceful and knowledgeable. Knew a lot of great spots and what to recommend. I’m glad I got to get a first hand look of bars I wouldn’t even stop to if I was on my own. Lots of grey hole in the wall places. I felt safe and people were very friendly. I definitely recommend this.

Authentic chance to meet and talk with wonderful Namibians over good food
Linda was such a great guide, explaining about the history, food, culture with personal stories and also asking about us and what we came to Namibia for. She is very knowledgeable and personable. The cooking was very interesting with explanations and joking. Love the mahangu pap and spinach! All was good but that was the best.

Amazing bar hopping experience in Windhoek
Fantastic experience! Andrew is an amazing guide. He showed me typical locations for bar hopping in the City and in Katutura and introduced me to wonderful people who shared a ton of interesting information about Namibia, its history and its people. I would highly recommend it!

        Buzzing bar hop in Windhoek
Was a very well organised trip and unfortunately I was the only traveller but my guide Linda made the trip very enjoyable. We went to 4 local bars and I had a different beer in each bar. It was nice to meet the local people and I must say Linda was an amazing host.

We did traditional cooking with Desmond and it was very interesting to see how the local food is prepared. We were allowed to cook. There was chicken, spinach porridge and mopane worms. It tasted good.
