Bernice was very nice and was a fun tour guide. The vehicle was nice and airconditioned, and the driver was very accomodating. I would reccomend other people totake this tour if they come to Accra.

From Shai Hills to the peaks (Mt Gemi) and valleys with water falls and canopy walk in Amedzofe, a trip to the Wli waterfall (tallest in West Africa) with the fruit bats and the Mona monkeys, this was a fun and educational weekend. I did a solo trip to Ghana for a month and Sampson was able to help me out multiple times! He made me feel comfortable in his hometown of Boabeng and taught me a lot about it. He organized a fun trip to Mole National Park and we saw a ton of cool wildlife. Although he didn’t go with me at the end of my trip he made sure I had a place to stay and was taken care of in Cape Coast. If you’re heading to Ghana, I would definitely book with him!

I visited the Monkey Sanctuary in Boabeng, which became one of my best experience during my volunteer year in Ghana. The monkey's are amazing and the tour guide gives a lot of interesting background information about the village, the monkeys and the beliefs of the people. You should take some money with you because they sell wonderful paintings of the forests and the monkeys in a tourist shop. And please, bring bananas and groundnuts, because monkeys have a rule which is called: no food, no friendship! ;) Take your time especially if you are a backpacker to stay some time with this amazing community and be patient if you wanna continue your journey from this a bit remote area... I have waited a bit till someone took me to the next destination. (It was Sunday! So I don't want to complain here! Just an advice). The tour guide or someone of the organization team will help you to arrange it. Just ask! If you have a car, no problem, you will find a way. There are some places in the village where you have network. Don't be afraid to ask for it, if you wanna make a call! To come to an end: my big THANK YOU for this wonderful time. I was also able to visit one of the festivals in the surrounding because my guide Sampson took me there. It was quite interesting and great to see this piece of Ghanaian culture and to taste a cashew fruit along the way (there are cashew trees in the surrounding). I never forget Boabeng! The tour was absolutely amazing as well as the tour guide! We were well taken care of and was able to enjoy the beauty of Accra in its entirety, we had a very eventful day filled with so much information. Tips for future travelers: Whether or not you believe you need a tour guide, you NEED to hire these guys. I can't even begin to tell you how much of a difference this group made for my class trip. They took us to Mole National Park, Elmina, Cape Coast, and more. They also are the friendliest people I have ever met. If you have one conversation with this group, you will instantly realize that this touring group is exactly what you are looking for. I can't wait to go back and have them show me even more!
