- Danielle B0 contributionsOur private tour was incrediableOur whole experience with our guide Mourad Belaidi was amazing he took us all o er and ensured we were given loads of informations about Carthage the romain baths and the Medina… he took us to a shop with lots of rugs and displays as well as an essential oils shop. Our day with him was simply amazing I would highly recommend himWritten February 1, 2025

- Haja K0 contributionsVery good and memorable experience. The Saharansky agency is the best. From the start till the end. They picked me up on time from my accomodation as planned, very punctual. 9:00 is 9:00. Not a minute late. Then once arrived to desert, i ride a personal camel. At lunch time, we arrived at our camp where a personal tent was ready for me. The camp is huge with comfortable facilities. The afternoon we went out again on camel until sunset in the desert. Everything was good. Thank Mounir, Marzouk, Amda & Mourish( the 🐫)Written January 26, 2025
- 646GeoffS0 contributionsDesert WildernessWe selected this tour to get a unique glimpse of remote Saharan desert wilderness and in comfort. It was well organised throughout. The driver & then 4X4 guide were amiable & efficient. The drive into & around the desert was just what we were hoping for & we got some wonderful photos & memories, alone in the vast wilderness of blue skies & keen winds with shifting sands. The lunches in Matmata were good & the drivers were always at our service to stop whenever. The camp itself was strange: it certainly IS remote & very well positioned with great views up the sands for sunrise & sunset. THe staff were friendly & helpful & the food was indeed delicious. The camp itself is NOT however LUXURY! We had it to ourselves which added to the feeling of remoteness but the tent was very cold so we asked for gas to get the heater on for an additional sum. The bar & restaurant were tatty, stained & faded &, worst of all, we were awoken at 4.30am in the morning as one of the staff blared out very loud music from his company 4X4. Nobody stopped him & only apologised at breakfast. A bad end to our stay & needless stupidity! We were both glad that we took this trip but it could so be improved & the camp was certainly not luxurious!Written January 26, 2025
- Camper319248605200 contributionsThe guide makes or breaks this tour. We were lucky! My girlfriend and I went on a 3-day trek into the Sahara desert from Douz over New Year's Eve. Our goal was a silent, relaxing start to 2025 close to nature. All of our expectations were fulfilled. Everything was perfectly planned and executed. The food was amazing, and the accommodation was nice and exactly what you would expect. However, the success of the entire tour depends on your guide. We were lucky to have Amir. He is a young Bedouin who is one of the few people who still lives as a true nomad. You can sense his love for the Sahara. He shared many stories about his passion for the desert and his dedication to preserving it. Unlike some other guides, Amir treats his camels like his own children. While some guides treat their animals poorly (even hitting them). Amir's gentle care for his camels was wonderful to witness. This was extremely important to us, as we wanted our vacation to be as sustainable as possible. If you're planning a similar trip, ask for Amir - he's the best choice you can make.Written January 8, 2025
- drsksingh0 contributionsSmall group tour from Hammamet to Carthage, Medina Tunis, Bardo museum and Sidi Bou SaidBouhdid our guide and James our driver picked us pick 5min early. Great start. Boudid is very friendly and genuinely looked after our small group all day. He is very knowledgeable but even more so passionate about his countries heritage. It’s quite infectious! The tour itinerary felt just right. A full day of sight seeing without feeling rushed. Boudid took us to many shops which is staffed on these tours but neither he nor most of the shop keepers made us feel uncomfortable when we didn’t show interest. The lunch was a Tunisian wrap which e all enjoyed. The car was a people’s carrier and we were a group of 5. Tunisian history is fascinating and Bouhdid’s guidance was very much appreciated. We ended the tour at picturesque Sidi Bou Said. After a drizzly start to the day, we enjoyed a glorious sunset from its viewing point overlooking the bay of Tunis.Written January 5, 2025

- Roger L0 contributionsBest Trip Ever - Underrated CountryAn absolutely wonderful experience!! Boutheina and our driver took care of us extremely well and went above and beyond to drive us to a Star Wars film site near Tozeur that was not originally on the itinerary. They listened to our requests and delivered extremely well. Boutheina, the guide, was extremely well-versed in all of the sites we visited and kept good company as we traveled with her day and night throughout the Sahara. I would rate 5.5 stars if I could. Truly amazed by this country and all the excellent things it had to offer!Written December 23, 2024

Reservation process on the web was not easy, they took a long time to answer BUT once we were answered they were very friendly and we customized a pack of activities in the Douz Desert amazing. Very funny. Mounir was a spectacular Guide and all his team attended us very well both on the quad bikes, as well as in the desert dinner and the dromedary ride. The payment process on the web very easy.
Thank you very much.

Really good experiences, highly recommended.
The tour on quad is amazing. Quads are really new and the experience of driving over the dunes is top.
Camel tour for seeing the sunset is amazing. Probably one of the best I've seen in my life.
And finally just to highlight the extraordinary service provided by the tour manager in Douz. A very nice and resolutive guy.
