must be seen,beautiful places, you must go on the big catamaran of the coco company, there are excursions on smaller boats that are unsafe and sway more on the waves, after all, it is the ocean

We were late for our ferry as result of a delay in flight. The company refused to reissue tickets without payment, although there were plenty of space.

2 of us booked and paid 150 euro for the 4.5 hour/Half Day Guided Tour of La Digue Without Lunch (Minimum 2 Persons) (inc Union Estate Entrance Fees) and were asked to meet the guide at the end of pier in the Mahe town centre at 9.30am. We waited for over half an hour but no one showed up. The local tourist info office phoned Vision who advised that they sent someone at 07:30am !! However, they said that they would send another guide who duly arrived. The further issues that we faced were - * this 'guide' spoke very limited english * he was NOT a guide. * he was a taxi driver who spent a lot of time negotiating prices with other tourists along the way (wasting our time) and he only charged others US$10 per person to go to the same places that we were taken !! * We were simply driven to two beaches and left to our own devices - certainly no guiding given. * We had to insist on stopping at the tortoise park & vanilla plantations to quickly take photos * No explanations or tour provided - certainly not guided! * we did not get taken to all of the places that were listed * we were taken back to town & told to get out after 2hrs 45mins * No refund offered We were not just disappointed, but quite angry at not getting what we had paid for and also the way we were treated. We spoke with the manager who was not at all interested in providing better customer service.

We booked the reef safari but the weather was against us. However, communication around pick up and cancellation was prompt and communication around rebooking was good. This was also defeated by the weather and the final refund was processed quickly without issue. You find out how good customer service is when things go wrong and they managed issues beyond their control well.

The staff inside the catamaran are really rude and very young to hold this responsibility! We had a really bad experience with these kids, they have an issue with communication with the customers. It is not right to say bad stuff for clients on board after the departure of the boat! If I knew they are rude kids, I would have booked a private fast boat instead of staying more than one hour on a boat with very unreliable staff. I am sorry to say that, but this will be my last time on board with this company!

Just a note that I wish I had looked at reviews before booking this ferry from Mahe to praslin/la digue. It was a big mistake for my family with small kids and ruined the day as all kids got sea sick. We couldn’t face taking the ferry again and had to book flights to return to Mahe. The company also has unreasonable policies around refunds. I would have booked flights instead had I read reviews before booking the ferry.

The bus or van never showed up to get us. I was really looking forward to going. We tried calling and so did our resort but no one answered. I got refunded though. I do not recommend this excursion. I never got a response as to why no one showed to get us either.

Great service and ride from island to island. We purchased our tickets online, handed in our printed copies and got our tickets. Boarding was orderly and the boat left in time. Can’t ask for anything more.

The driver/guide called me at 19:10 on the night before our Vallee De Mai experience and moved the time by 3 hours later, leaving us with no option but to cancel the experience as we had a full itinerary booked on that day. We are very disappointed and upset because the operator gave us less than 13 hours notice to change our plans. This company requires the customer to give 24 hours cancellation notification for a full refund and yet they think it’s fine for them to make last minute changes. So now we have lost our full payment which we booked a few months ago and also missed out on the Famous Vallee De Mai!!

We have used Cat Coco for the past 10 yrs when travelling from Mahe to La Digue. The service in the pre-Covid 19 period was superb and exemplary on every level especially in the business class Lazio Lounge. The attendants were engaged, well-trained, and extremely helpful. Small snacks and beverages were served that made the one-hour journey pleasant. This time, in the post Covid-19 period, it cannot be described the same as excellent or exceptional as it was certainly not. There is limited staff presence, no beverages or snacks offered, and passengers with sea motion illness were not helped at all. Various thoughts come to mind as to whether the owners have a captivated passenger population, and therefore service does not matter anymore. Staff, when present tried, but they were not coping at all. Hopefully, this is a once-off experience, and future improvements will follow.

It's hard to rate a service that is the most horrible experience of your holiday, but the operator can do little to influence that. To cut it short: strong trade winds cause large waves at the ocean, which move the ship like a nutshell in the washing machine, and it all lasts the endless 75 minutes. The serious sea sickness in the most of the passengers is inevitable then. Fortunately, the crew were very nice and attentive and provided the passengers with sea sickness bags, always ready to replenish them. The reason why I rate 3/5 only is the fact that air conditioning in hermetically closed ship was switched off, which made the situation much worse, the passengers were sweating like hell and feeling even worse. What you can do: As I tried on the way back from Praslin to Mahé, you should follow these rules: 1. Take the seats as far back as possible 2. Do not eat anything at least 6 hours before your trip 3. Take as many sea sickness pills according to the manufacturer's instructions Optional: my wife took the medium dose of sea sickness pills only, but together with one pill of Valium, and she was very happy with this measure.

The best part of this experience was the staff! The captain did a great job maneuvering through the turbulent water. It was a tumultuous sail:(

Jose, my guide was very knowledgable on the Valle de Mai forrest trail. I learnt a lot about the palm trees and their history etc. I do think given the small area of this pkace maybe rour should no charge as much of a fee.

The organization of the trip was perfect, the guides were very friendly and took perfect care of us the whole time. The trip was amazing and I recommend it to every one!

The ferry service from Mahé to Praslin was very efficient. The sea was rough with lots of swells and waves. Many passengers got sick due to the heavy swells. The staff was very responsive to assist each passenger when this happened.
