Taos Highlights Small-Group Driving Tour
$81.38
Overview
This 3-hour small-group driving tour highlights the top 4 tourist sites in Taos:
*UNESCO World Heritage site - the traditional and living Native American village of Taos Pueblo
*stunning Rio Grande Gorge from high upon the Gorge Bridge
*Taos Plaza with every building listed on the National Register of Historical Places
*most photographed church in North America.

With transportation in our new and tidy van, hear stories from our experienced and personable local guides. You'll quickly grasp the quirkiness that make Taos the most unique town you'll ever experience. The best tour offered to get a handle on Taos in a short period of time.

Note: Taos Pueblo closes to visitors for ceremonies and other traditional occasions, sometimes without notice. In the event the Pueblo is closed, we substitute a stop at a 200 year old Spanish colonial hacienda.

Winter Schedule: Saturdays. Groups of 4 or more, 7 days a week.
What to Expect
Your tour of Taos's most famous tourist destinations begins at 1:00pm at the Taos Plaza Gazebo. The Gazebo is the largest structure on the Plaza.

Major tour stops include the Historic Taos Plaza at the heart of Taos, St. Francis de Asis Roman Catholic Church in Ranchos de Taos and the 'Most Photographed Church in North America", Taos Pueblo living and traditional Native American village on the UNESCO World Heritage list, the stunning and impressive Gorge Bridge towering over the Rio Grande. And the Taos Plaza, where the tour starts and ends.

An average of 3-hours should be allotted for this tour which may vary depending upon traffic conditions and destination lengths of stay.

Unforgatable

This is the best way to meet with native Americans, to learn about the culture and about the miracle world what they still have all around.

Iconic landmark outside of Taos

There is a good that this has been designated as a World Heritage site. It showcases a Native American landmark that has to be seen to be appreciated. All of it is very interesting. The pueblo, the chapel, even the cemetery. Very unique.
