Me and my daughter took a dsd here and our instructor Tony a great guy was very good and had the patience of a kindergarten teacher 😁😉 he guided us safely through it all in the time we needed, even though the visibility was not great we saw the reck and a lot of fishes. So I’d will recommend this place to anyone who wants to try/learn scobadiving you are in good hands here 😁👍🙏🏻

Such a great experience! Anáis was truly the best instructor. I was really nervous about the experience and she was patient, kind, and made me feel so at ease. I honestly don’t think I would have had such a positive experience were it not for her expertise and warmth. The briefing was thorough and clear, I felt totally safe and looked after. The dives were at a brilliant location, great to learn and to see the amazing ship wreck. I can’t fault them and I will be returning. Thank you so much Anais and to Adam, trainee dive master :)

Please request Gita and Kadek as your dive master! They are like genie from story, as long as you make wish for spotting some micro creatures, they will find for you. Only disappointment is that we didn’t have much time with them! For sure, Gita and Kadek will be our dive master next trip!

Do not reccomended this company, they will not look after you if something goes wrong, no boats to get to dive sites , so you spend most of tour dive time getting to and from the dive sites. All shore dives which limited your experience. They only care about your money. Manager is an a hole

It was a very dangerous diving experience. I booked via KLOOK. All the equipment was extremely old and showed no signs of maintenance. The BCD was damaged, and the regulator hose was broken, preventing airflow. This led to me nearly drowning during the dive. Fortunately, at about 10 meters deep, I realized I couldn’t breathe and immediately swam desperately to the surface to save my life. I believe that if I had realized this in deeper water, I would have already drowned. Upon returning to the center, I informed the local staff about the equipment issues. A senior staff member from France said it was a common occurrence and that it could just be patched up. He completely dismissed it as a problem, which is extremely irresponsible. Such comments show a complete disregard for safety. I hope to inform those considering signing up to think carefully, especially those with insufficient experience. I believe the center's facilities do not adequately ensure the safety of guests. I don’t want anyone else to experience a situation like mine. Life is at stake, and although I rarely write comments, I felt it necessary to share the truth with everyone.

I’ll start my review by saying this dive centre offers excellent value. For us, 10 dives each, including some remote spots, cost 6.8M Rupiah or around AU$666. That AU$33 a dive including transport to site, fill and guide plus the odd coffee or water etc. The centre itself thrives on Kaos theory, and is a hive of activity first thing in the morning, but it all seems to work. There are small lockers for your gear (100k rupiah key deposit). Generally you’ll be assigned a guide, you’ll suit up and sort your gear and then be transported to a dive site. Often porters lug all your gear to the water. Pretty much everything is a beach entry, which means rocks, so good dive boots are very useful. Post dive you’ll have a surface interval, with tea / coffee / water and a snack and then move to the next site. We did 2 or 3 dives a day. Others did more. A few not so goods: - I had one full tank the whole time, mostly around 180-190 fills. - They ran out of Nitrox a lot, so had to switch back to air. - We used our own gear, and half we did as some of the rental stuff was terrible. I strongly recommend you bring your own regs at least. - The centre seems to cater a lot to French tourists and the guides seem very fluent in French, not so much English. - On some of the dives you scuba for 10 minutes in 6m-10m of water to get to a site. I’d prefer to surface swim that and then descend to save bottom time - but that’s just my preference. - Lastly, and this out of the Dive Centres control, some of the sites are completely jammed with divers. The Liberty was particularly frustrating with OW divers kicking up silt and flapping around. Despite some of the frustrations, we’d dive with these guys again.

It was an amazing experience diving at Dive Concepts. Specially thanks to Sara that made my Open Water Diving Certification experience awesome!!! You rock!! Their experience, good vibes, and master planning skills made us spent the best days diving at the beautiful Nusa Lembongan, see Mantas, Mola Mola, turttles and many more in my first days diving ever!!!! A Total of 2 days & 6 dives with Dive concepts. Our guide James was tasked to assist us with mostly everything that is needed to ensure we had a great dive as a group. He was very professional from start to end. Kudos James! Hope to dive with you again.

A Disappointing Experience - 9 hours taxi Recently, I had an unfortunate experience with Dive Concepts Tulamben. Our driver arrived almost an hour late, which was already a bad start. Without any prior notice, the driver picked up additional passengers, leading to a 2.5-hour detour around Ubud. Ultimately, it took the driver over 5 hours to get us to the dive site, a delay that was never communicated to us in advance. Due to this delay, our planned day trip was reduced from 3 dives costing 1,500,000 IDR to just 2 dives, and we were only compensated with 250,000 IDR. Although the dive masters were skilled, their English was very limited, which made communication challenging. The Liberty wreck dive site was beautiful, but the other sites were disappointing. Overall, this experience was highly unprofessional. I would not recommend diving with this school if you require a long transfer to get there.
