We visited yesterday and had a fantastic experience. Our Ambassador was Frida who was brilliant and very knowledgeable. She looked after us from start to finish. My wife had a 6 glass tasting with bread, olive oil balsamic, olives and dukkha. I had a classic 4 glass tasting. We also had a glass of MCC each and bought a bottle of Rose. The value was outstanding

After our wonderful experience at the Van Loveren restaurant, Christina’s we were interested in some of the wines the farm had to offer and popped into the wine tasting room and met a fabulous gentleman, Jason. Jason’s knowledge of the family farm history and it’s wines were out of this world. His stories of the farms history and passion for wine is commendable. Jason your passion for your job is admirable. You made our experience a phenomenal one. I really wish the management of the farm recognizes your talent and appreciates you. You costs us a lot of money with the copious amount of wine you sold us. Thanks Jason. Have a lekker day!!!

This is a scam operation. They will take your money and then not deliver wine. They do not respond when questioned about nondelivery. I would not order wine from them.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff, especially Michaela. Did the 7.5 km hike,harder than expected, took nearly 6 hours with a few stops. The view is breath taking and lots of birds. Well signposted,just quite exposed in summer. Had a decilious Expresso milkshake at Christina's afterwards.

We had a Hyperli voucher for a cellar tour, tasting and bottle of wine. We were a little uncertain as to whether this was good value, but we needn't have worried. The cellar tour was very interesting and our guide was very informative. The wine tasting was well organised and really good quality. It was lovely to sit in the garden for our tasting.

What a wonderful experience! We are visiting my partners parents (who are from SA) and went for the food and wine pairings. Frida (our server) was amazing and so knowledgeable about the wines. She even looked up where we can find them in Boston! Loved every minute of this!

The restaurant is beautiful. The wine pairing was exactly what I was looking forward to. We had the Van Loveren wine and cheese pairing & Undiscovered Gems pairing. The service was not great. The staff was busy cleaning the restaurant and it felt they were suppose to do that before the restaurant had opened

On a very hot day we had lunch under the vine. The garden is really very special. But we miss Ouma's sweetcorn fritters.

What a lovely wine cellar and deli. We found the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. We only walked through on the way to the restaurant, but before we knew it we were tasting wine, which helped when it came to choosing from the wine list at Christina's. And yes, we ended up buying a box or two too!

Time is on the side of this family. The farm has been owned by the Retiefs for hundreds of years. One of them had a knack for gardening, because I have never seen a garden like this, except for the Queen Victoria Gardens in Cape Town Centre. The restaurant and wine-tasting facility is situated under three-hundred year old trees and lush, flowering vegetation. An excellent selection of red, white and preserve wines.

This famous and popular wine farm owes it's charm to the Retief family who has been making world renowned wines for a long time. The tasting area is busy and people just enjoy the food and wine tasting experience on offer. We had the Sparkling wines and cakes, just spectacular !!

I always enjoy coming here. They are friendly and very helpful with the winetasting .They are a success story and runs their business very well
