    DISAPPOINTED
DISAPPOINTED. This was not about Michael Jacksons songs...it was about a hard rock tribute. We were in seats 1 and 2, Row B, our favs, so, as always, we had the full show. We now have seen all the cirque shows, and although the performers worked hard, like all cirque shows, we did not know it was hard rock. This was a Christmas gift for my wife, and she doesn't care for hard rock; she was looking forward to MJ favorites.

    Michael Miracle on Stage
I was lucky enough to be invited by an old friend to the Michael Jackson Circus show. The show did not disappoint. As a long time fan of Jackson I was thrilled to see the complexity of the dances on offer in this illustrious show. The music, the tempo everything was like a brushstroke of Picasso. Bravo!

    Real Entertainment!
There were so many kinds of entertainment here, it's hard to focus on "the show". Michael Jackson One show at Mandalay Bay was a real top level production. Some music from MJ that I hadn't heard previously, and the talent and performance was well choreographed and sequenced. Amazing acrobatics and talented dancers. Some loud parts, family friendly though. We had seats 'upstairs' but they were essentially at the same level as the last row of the 'downstairs' seating - so the seats were quite a bit less expensive. Perfect as far as sightlines go. No real need to ante up for the most expensive seats in the house unless you really need to be close up. Because there's so much going on during the show, it was great to be able to see the entire stage - and since the cast uses the entire theater as part of their stage - the ability to see what's coming in from above and down the aisles makes a much better viewing situation. Sitting any closer and we'd have missed quite a bit of what was going on in the show. To be clear, almost the entire theater is the stage.

    The One and only
Perfect marriage of MJ artistry with Cirque’s professionalism I suppose shows like this and Beatles’ Love will have less acrobatics and Cirque, but something has to give Lots more dancing, and listening to many of MJ hit songs They threw everything but the kitchen sink into the show - MJ 3D avatar, glow in the dark costumes, shadow performance

Thanks MJ and Cirque du Soleil to make this dream
I don’t understand really the people wrote bad reviews about this show. I would like now why you paid the entrance. The show is simple amazing. You will see the complete MJ story with the most popular songs in the career and magician and acrobatic complement. If you dont like this you haven’t a happy life and you lose your money Please go if you like in MJ Thanks MJ and Cirque du Soleil to make this show. I was so happy

    Excellent show!
I really enjoyed Michael Jackson’s music and I thought the performance is very good. It was only a single stage and I wish it was more immersive as other shows I’ve from Circ de Soleil.

Only if you really like Michael Jackson
The show is essentially Michael Jackson songs with performances that sometimes worked well with the music and sometimes did not. Some dancers were very good, but some were just OK. There were some interesting dance routines, and the videos of MJ (especially as a young boy) were interesting. The acrobatics overall didn't seem as talented as in some other Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas. The "acrobats" in black with lights suspended in rings over the audience did little more than "hang out" overhead. The "pole dancer" was talented, but what does pole dancing have to do with MJ's music? (It seemed really out of place and made it less of a family show.) Then there was the goofy "plotline" of the four "visitors" and the various MJ wardrobe pieces, which seemed like "filler" and was boring. If you go, bring earplugs to dampen the decibels (which rival a rock concert). From my experience, MJ ONE is not the best Cirque show in Vegas unless you really, really like MJ music. Instead, try Mystere at Treasurer Island (for classic Cirque du Soleil with the most impressive acrobatic acts), Ka at MGM Grand (for impressive staging and acrobatics--including battle scenes that involve acrobatics on an amazing hydraulic stage--and a semblance of a storyline, albeit mostly "dark"), or "O" at Bellagio (for impressive and unique staging, including a 25-foot pool and water-themed acrobatics).

    Disappointing
As much as I hate to say it, we left disappointed. As a massive Michael Jackson fan, and my first time at a cirque du soleil I expected better. We just did not understand the story line of a young guy running around in a beanie hat the whole show, and lots of teenagers dancing? Needs a lead character that actually is a Michael Jackson impersonator.

    Amazing
Absolutely amazing. The music of course was brilliant. The special effects were outstanding along with the acrobats dancers etc. It is costly (as are most things in Vegas) but in my opinion well worth it. If you get the opportunity don’t miss it.

A must see win in Vegas
Absolutely amazing, outstanding and breathtaking! I’ve now seen this show twice, and it was just as wonderful as it was the first time. I highly recommend it to everyone. It is a little costly, but you will not be disappointed.

    Terrible
Absolutely the worst Cirque show I have ever seen. Very boring. The only thing that was good was the shadow.

    Left us wanting
The show was good. However, the storyline was unclear and involved 4 random people for no apparent reason. I was expecting more acrobatics. But it was still quite enjoyable and who doesn't enjoy MJ music.

    Kind of dated, uneven show
Some of it was quite good -- the entire audience actually gets snowed on in one set for one thing. But much of it is mediocre and jaded. Adding trampoline acts to Thriller made it worse, not better. All in all, not bad, but not my favorite show in Las Vegas, and not cheap.

A Concert, not a Cirque show
Let me start by saying I enjoy Michael Jackson songs and I didn't mind hearing all the music even though it was VERY loud (concert level loud) however, I thought with this being a Cirque show it would have some Cirque-type stunts but it was just singing and dancing. The only part I truly enjoyed was the hologram type projection of Michael in one scene. It was like watching a ghost sing and dance. Other than that it was just ok. I would never want to see this again. And for what it was (not really a Cirque quality show) it was very overpriced.

I am so glad we went to see this! If you are a Michael Jackson fan at all, this is a MUST SEE. I grew up after Michael Jackson's popular days, but I still appreciate his music.
The show was put to music so well. I would tell anyone that this is THE show to see in Vegas.
We sat in the third row from the front and it was totally worth it, although we had to look up to see the performers come in from the ceiling!
I think even my eight year old would've loved this show. If it's still in Vegas and we ever take him, I'll take him to see this one. (But cover his eyes during Dirty Diana, lol).
Good job to the cast! They are all very talented individuals.

Fantastic show. The story line is good, but the singing, dancing and special effects are phenomenal. There is a lot going on, so sitting at the front is not the best or you will miss somethings going on above you. Best to sit halfway up in the middle section.

My daughter and I went to Vegas in mid February and decided to see this show at the last minute. Bought tickets at one of those discount booths on the strip and they were still expensive. However, we are both big Michael Jackson fans so I figured it would be a nice night out. I've been to other Cirque Du Soleil shows and they were just ok so I was expecting good music but not much else. We were both pleasantly surprised. Everything about this show was amazing. The area before you go into the theater is devoted to Michael with pictures/posters and a very well stocked gift shop. Even before the show starts, you are ready for something special. And the show does not disappoint. The dancing, the acrobats the special effects, and of course the music are amazing. I didn't quite get the story line in the beginning, but it didn't matter, because the entertainment was so spectacular. The show ran for about an hour and a half, and covered a lot of material, including all the hits you would expect, some Jackson Five tunes, and a lot of albums songs which were not necessary big hits, (like Stranger in Moscow). This show is a must for Michael Jackson fans and I highly recommend it. I was in Vegas maybe a week or so before everything shut down and I am very glad I got to see this show. Whenever we can start travelling again, I hope to go back to Vegas to see it again. It is definitely worth it.

It was a good show but I kept thinking "would MJ be proud of this show?" I'm not convinced he would be. Loved his music & the guitar player was awesome. Don't pay for expensive tickets...ushers were moving people in the back rows up to the front 10-12 rows from stage. Show was not even close to being full.

I went with great expectations and excitement but was left disappointed.
I have attended many Cirque Du Soleil shows and have enjoyed them all until now.
Needless to say it's an expensive show at nearly $200 per seat with fees included.

The music was great (loud) the dancing was great but the overall show was a mess. The story was a mess, it was like watching a dance show with kids running around lost most of the time.
Very little resemblance to a cirque du soleil show, with a few exceptions. This was by far the worst Vegas show I have attended in 3 trips.

Save yourself some money and just pay a MJ album at home and enjoy it.

This was my fifth Las Vegas Cirque show and probably my least favorite. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but it just didn't 'wow" me. The dancers and acrobatics were talented and the hologram performances of "Michael Jackson" almost made you think he was there. A lot of MJ songs that I wasn't familiar with were incorporated, with a few of my favorites omitted. All in all, would recommend to see, but other Cirque shows (O, KA, Mystere, Beatles Love) were just a bit better.

We have wanted to see this show for a long time and it did not disappoint! We are huge MJ fans! We bought our tickets well in advance and sat in the first row of section 201 and it was perfect, we could see everything! The music was great, the acrobatics were amazing, the dancing and story telling was perfectly done. They even had a performer who is a single leg amputee; that guy could dance! The lights, the sets, MJ hologram; it was all outstanding! I didn't think it could get any better, then Thriller came on and oh my, it was out of this world!
I would see this show again and again. It was worth every penny we spent on it. Don't think twice, just book it!

If you want to see a strict Cirque show with a high level of and variety of acrobatics this is not the show for you. I thoroughly enjoyed the show-- played various MJ songs, lots of dancing and a few highly talented Cirque performers but not as many or variety as a typical show. Two of our friends that went with us were disappointed and thought the show was just 'ok'. My husband thought it was average and I alone thought it was really good so my rating is an average of all the attendee's thoughts. The volume is EXTREMELY loud so if you have sensitive ears bring earplugs to soften it a bit.

We’d been recommended to see this show, Michael Jackson soundtrack & Cirque de Soleil what more could there be!! A lot!
It was breathtaking in its originality, the skill of the artists & the sheer theatrical showmanship was unbelievable. Not only was there amazing dancing, magic, illusions, aerial & trampoline skills - the list goes in but all linked by a fabulous & clever story line.

One not to be missed!

We booked the Michael Jackson ONE tickets at the last minute. I am so glad I did! This show was a highlight of our time in Las Vegas. We were able to walk to the venue from our hotel. We enjoyed singing along to all of the hit songs. The hologram was so life like. The Cirque du Soleil company have outdone themselves with this production. The Michael Jackson memorabilia at the entrance to the theatre was also interesting.
