    Kind of dated, uneven show
Some of it was quite good -- the entire audience actually gets snowed on in one set for one thing. But much of it is mediocre and jaded. Adding trampoline acts to Thriller made it worse, not better. All in all, not bad, but not my favorite show in Las Vegas, and not cheap.

A Concert, not a Cirque show
Let me start by saying I enjoy Michael Jackson songs and I didn't mind hearing all the music even though it was VERY loud (concert level loud) however, I thought with this being a Cirque show it would have some Cirque-type stunts but it was just singing and dancing. The only part I truly enjoyed was the hologram type projection of Michael in one scene. It was like watching a ghost sing and dance. Other than that it was just ok. I would never want to see this again. And for what it was (not really a Cirque quality show) it was very overpriced.

    Another excellent Cirque show
Second favorite cirque show now (just hard to beat Love). We wanted to try a different show and we both really enjoyed this. While I may not be the biggest Michael fan I did grow up with his music and always enjoyed it. After hearing all his hits in thia show I have even more respect for the talent that was MJ. The show itself was great. The lights, screens and of course the dancers. Mostly dance and not as much acrobatic performances. Not really a negative as this is what we expected. The talent was top notch. I didn't really follow any storyline but I am sure there was one. Nothing bad at all to say. Would recommend this show.

    Awesome show
The show was awesome!!!!! The music was fabulous and there was a lot of dance. It was truly enjoyable for all ages. The lights might be a bit much for some. My husband felt there wasn’t enough “Cirque du soleil” And too much dancing but I loved it!

    MJ would be proud!
As a Michael Jackson fan I loved the song choices and how they used them to connect to a story line, and I really believe he would have been proud of how it represents part of his legacy. I paid extra for the "golden circle" seats and felt like it was worth every penny. At certain points the performers were right next to me and even right over my head! I plan to see it again especially because I was crying so much near the end that I probably missed some details. I've seen other Cirque shows and this is definitely different in a good way, and I was very happy with it. More dancing than acrobatics, however you still see that the talent if Cirque performers is next level elite! You definitely feel like you're at a rock concert, so if you think live concerts are too loud, then yes, you'll complain about the volume here. I left the theater dancing, feeling nostalgic, and in an uplifted and inspired mood!

    LOUD with great Cirque talent
The music volume was SO LOUD they give away foam earplugs at the entrance which is the first warning. I only recognized 50% of the songs but the music was excellent. Would go once; that is enough though.

Badly bitched attempt to celebrate The man. Pooor and vague storyline
A very poorly executed story line which opens and leaves you in the dark and lost as to what is happening. I was expecting something all Michael jackson. Something truly exceptional. Instead I saw 3-4 great and amazing acts that connected to Michael. I feel that he would be deeply saddened by his name being attached to this. The show opens with this bunch of children being followed by Photographer's. Then there are two obscure songs weak weak and the you see the young Michael by act 4-5. I was lost completely. Then there was the a scene of Neverland ranch gates, where of all things Michael said. They play a clip of him talking about children. How rude and insensitive can they be? It was just like watching the HBO documentary that dealt with the pedophile allegations. I was literally in shock. They should have steered clear of those remarks pairing them with the gates. Then this machine that shoots out pyrotechnics that is basically identical to the Pepsi commercial where the same machine exploded too soon and burnt Michael’s scalp causing pain, traumas and pain pill addiction. I can’t imagine Janet or his mom approving this mess I felt it was such an embarrassment. I learned after the show that the four children were chasing his glove, hat and other items as if they were his magic which is nothing farther from the truth. The thriller scene had incredible trampoline action and a scene where they all wore lights on black bodies. There was a dancer with one leg who honestly was amazing. There was also an amazing hologram of him signing. Overall the highlights were seeing his images which one can see more of snd better on any you tube video. The dancers are all acrobats and give great performances but the acts and story or lack thereof leaves one baffled and wondering what any of it had to do with his life snd his genius. Also it was crazy all the cast was mainly skinny white, aíslan and Latino children with only 4-5 black dancers. I feel the mix could have been more well thought out and also found the extremely young age of the cast unappealing. The average age felt so very young. It is seldom that I see something so sadly ruining if the person it was designed to celebrate. RIP dear MJ. Try Ru Paul’s Drag race I’m sure it is more authentic.

    Not Worth the $$$
My SO and I are big MJ fans and paid a lot (even for seats way in the back) for this show. I’ve seen other Cirque shows and this is by far the worst. It doesn’t even seem like a Cirque show. There wasn’t much in the way of creativity or stunts. Add to that an incoherent narrative and storyline that doesn’t make sense. The lights and fog machine could only do so much. Best part was all MJ’s hits being played super loud. Not worth the money and disappointing for Cirque’s reputation.

    Hot Mess of a Concept
According to other reviewers, this show has changed post-Covid. I've seen nearly 70 Vegas shows and a ton of concerts and this show was garbage. Last night 10/16/2022, my husband and I finally went to see Michael Jackson One at Mandalay Bay. We were in section 202, row MM. We were fairly high up but could still see. Show makes zero sense. There is no storyline, it's a convoluted mess that has nothing to do with Michael Jackson. The story could have been about Neverland, or delved into the world of Thriller or even Bad. Nope. Instead we had robot Anubis-looking characters, a pole dancer in bondage wear, a guy in a treasure chest coffin, bizarre tabloids as a backdrop, a creepy moon deity and some sort of alien rockstar? It made no sense. Not sure what was even Cirque about this production other than the trampoline scene, which was so forgettable I couldn't remember what song it was paired with - and I left the show not even 8 hours ago. It wasn't anything to write home about. I did like the part where they had neon illuminated suits like the dancers at iLuminate at The Strat, but iLuminate has better costumes and a better MJ dance. How does Cirque knockoff a cheaper show and still have a worse version of their costumes? The songs they chose to showcase didn't have a cohesive them, and many favorites were left out in favor of some of his more obscure songs, such as his 1995 song "Stop pressuring me" with Janet Jackson. The theater was so cold and the air was turned up so high it felt windy. I had goosebumps in a short sleeved dress. The woman next to me put her arms into her shirt to try to stay warm. I heard other people as we walked out complaining about how cold it was. Show was boring and I kept looking at my watch hoping it was time to go home soon. This show was either changed extensively after Covid to the point it should be renamed and have a new Yelp listing, or people have no discernment or taste and will give anything 5 stars if MJ's name is on it.

    A great time!
I really enjoyed this show. The combination of video, dance, lights, and the hologram at the end made for a fun show! The Thriller and Billie Jean performances were extra cool. I would go again!

Should have been so much more
Um... not what I was looking for. Let me start by saying that I love Cirque du Soleil, and MJ, so I figured if you put them together, that would be pretty awesome... right? Oddy I felt like this show fell flat. The "clowns" I normaly love in these types of shows that help tell the story and move the show forward felt far less compelling than I have come to expect from this company, and the Cirque acts felt underwhelming. Of course the music is mostly original MJ recordings so they are amazing, but the rest just felt a little gimmicky. Could have been transcendent and in the end fell short.

    Outstanding!
Loved everything about this show from the showroom (completely renovated) with large, comfortable seats to the show itself. Did a great job incorporating Michael's music with the signature Cirque athleticism!

It was a good show but I kept thinking "would MJ be proud of this show?" I'm not convinced he would be. Loved his music & the guitar player was awesome. Don't pay for expensive tickets...ushers were moving people in the back rows up to the front 10-12 rows from stage. Show was not even close to being full.

I went with great expectations and excitement but was left disappointed.
I have attended many Cirque Du Soleil shows and have enjoyed them all until now.
Needless to say it's an expensive show at nearly $200 per seat with fees included.

The music was great (loud) the dancing was great but the overall show was a mess. The story was a mess, it was like watching a dance show with kids running around lost most of the time.
Very little resemblance to a cirque du soleil show, with a few exceptions. This was by far the worst Vegas show I have attended in 3 trips.

Save yourself some money and just pay a MJ album at home and enjoy it.

This was my fifth Las Vegas Cirque show and probably my least favorite. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but it just didn't 'wow" me. The dancers and acrobatics were talented and the hologram performances of "Michael Jackson" almost made you think he was there. A lot of MJ songs that I wasn't familiar with were incorporated, with a few of my favorites omitted. All in all, would recommend to see, but other Cirque shows (O, KA, Mystere, Beatles Love) were just a bit better.

We have wanted to see this show for a long time and it did not disappoint! We are huge MJ fans! We bought our tickets well in advance and sat in the first row of section 201 and it was perfect, we could see everything! The music was great, the acrobatics were amazing, the dancing and story telling was perfectly done. They even had a performer who is a single leg amputee; that guy could dance! The lights, the sets, MJ hologram; it was all outstanding! I didn't think it could get any better, then Thriller came on and oh my, it was out of this world!
I would see this show again and again. It was worth every penny we spent on it. Don't think twice, just book it!

If you want to see a strict Cirque show with a high level of and variety of acrobatics this is not the show for you. I thoroughly enjoyed the show-- played various MJ songs, lots of dancing and a few highly talented Cirque performers but not as many or variety as a typical show. Two of our friends that went with us were disappointed and thought the show was just 'ok'. My husband thought it was average and I alone thought it was really good so my rating is an average of all the attendee's thoughts. The volume is EXTREMELY loud so if you have sensitive ears bring earplugs to soften it a bit.

We’d been recommended to see this show, Michael Jackson soundtrack & Cirque de Soleil what more could there be!! A lot!
It was breathtaking in its originality, the skill of the artists & the sheer theatrical showmanship was unbelievable. Not only was there amazing dancing, magic, illusions, aerial & trampoline skills - the list goes in but all linked by a fabulous & clever story line.

One not to be missed!

We booked the Michael Jackson ONE tickets at the last minute. I am so glad I did! This show was a highlight of our time in Las Vegas. We were able to walk to the venue from our hotel. We enjoyed singing along to all of the hit songs. The hologram was so life like. The Cirque du Soleil company have outdone themselves with this production. The Michael Jackson memorabilia at the entrance to the theatre was also interesting.

Over $500 later for 4 of us to go we were very underwhelmed. Expecting more of an impersonator not a story line that was hard to follow. Many songs that we had never heard of and many old songs we were hoping to hear didn't get played. We were ready to get out of our seats and dance and have some fun and until the very last song we never felt the urge to get up. Sad...

Felt like this was a huge missed opportunity that took its own artistic perspective too far away from what Michael is known for. Stunts were lackluster, majority of signature dance moves were in the background a lot of the time, shadowed by mediocre gymnastics, trampolines and B-tier Michael Jackson dance impressions. There was a few moments of brilliance that were 100% Michael (hologram portion, dark light-up suits) but overall not worth the price or the time.

This show was like watching a high school production with fancy effects. The story line was silly, there was little to no actual cirque de sole acrobatics, the dancers were very weak and the characters in the show made no sense. It is mostly just dancing and only a few of the dancers actually put effort into it. Maybe we got the B team that night. The only reason i enjoyed it is the music and that's because i love Michael Jackson. They should not advertise it as a cirque de sole show and definitely should not be allowed to charge cirque prices. .
