The High Roller was great, and would definitely recommend doing it at night when all the lights of the city are on and not during the day. Similar pricing to most other attractions in Vegas, which are a little high (with a captive audience things could be cheaper), but this one is definitely worth it.
Avoid using the kiosk to purchase tickets if you can and the line at the box office isn't too long. The screen is quite dirty and takes a lot to work properly. The online ticket purchases are also confusing to work out if you're trying to purchase both adult and youth tickets.

I have to say that my friend and I lucked out, no crowds, no line, easy check-in and we got a whole pod with only one other couple to ourselves (pods are big). I had made reservations well in advanced on a Monday, open time slot (hoping less crowds on a weekday). I did not opt for a bar pod, as I knew we were going right to dinner after.

We wanted to see the sunset. We got there around 7:00 p.m. A little confusing to find the entrance with a prepaid ticket already, but we finally found it, checked in, went to the platform and was directed to a slot to wait for the pods to come down, and the doors to open while still moving and walk on. The trip takes about 1/2 hour and you can see a 360 view of Las Vegas.

It was nice and well worth only because we had no lines/crowds while watching the sunset in practically our own pod.

We ordered our tickets online and decided against the Happy Hour ride since drinks were allowed to be brought on. The difference in cost was equivalent to two drinks per person. I didn't think that would be feasible for a 28 minute ride. It also meant we could decide last minute what time we wanted to go. They sell drinks right before you board so that worked out great. There were only seven of us in the ride and it was very comfortable! We went around 10pm on a Tuesday and it wasn't crowded. Great views of Vegas at night.

My wife and I purchased tickets ahead of time online, which I highly recommend. It likely saved us at least 30 minutes or more in line around 8:30-9:00. The views from the top are also incredible. The problem is that they cram a bunch of people on there with you and now you're subjected to the annoyances of whoever you're with for 30 minutes. For us, they put perhaps the two worst parents in Las Vegas with us while their baby cried the entire time and their toddler threw things around the cabin. Needless to say, our experience was a bit ruined by it all. They should put families in their own cabin to prevent this from happening.

I bought tickets from the kiosk prior to opening so that we were ready to go for opening. Unfortunately despite the transaction going through and being confirmed on the screen of the kiosk the tickets and receipt never printed. I took a photo of the screen using my phone including price paid, confirmation number and tickets purchased.

Once open we got in the queue and explained our issue to a member of security who assured us that the Box Office would be able to print off our tickets. We stood in the queue waiting approximately 25-30 mins and when we got to the front of the queue we went to the box office and was told despite having the cpnfirmation number we would have to be refunded and purchase the tickets again. I do not really understand this as I could prove they had been purchased, they could prove they had been purchased as once I provided the last 4 digits of my card they found the tansaction so why could the tickets not be printed???
At this point I was not prepared to pay again as this was no fault of ours so requested a refunded which was processed, I have been advised it will take 7 to 10 business days to hit my account...........incredible!
We have been on the High Roller before on a previous trip and enjoyed it which was why we booked again but won't be doing it on future trips after this fiasco.

We rode the High Roller on a recent visit to Las Vegas. We had a good time riding the Ferris wheel. It affords some of the highest views on the strip. The Ferris wheel actually moves very slowly. If you look at it from a distance you can't even tell it's moving. This works out well as it delivers a long ride with plenty of time to take in the views. The full trip takes around 30 minutes.

The cabins are actually quite large. Up to 40 people are placed in a single cabin, so it's not exactly private. However It did not feel crowded while we were riding. The cabins are air conditioned and comfortable, which is fairly important given the heat in Las Vegas. There is also a nice video and audio presentation that changes throughout the trip.

Tickets are around $30 each, which is a bit expensive. However, given the cost of building and operating the wheel, this seems reasonable. Prices are cheaper before 4pm.

Overall we had a great time riding High Roller. I highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in fun activities and nice views.

First of all-DO IT! It was not regrettable and I would honestly do it again. Unless you get in a helicopter, the views here you will find no where else.

My issue however is the fact that they do not give itemized receipts to show what you are paying for. I.E., taxes and fees. I asked for one and was told: 'we don't give out those kinds of receipts' when I asked why are the prices on your board different from what I am being charged. Unfortunately the gal in front said she didn't know. Honestly, I take accountability for not wanting to make a scene concidering there was a line of people and it was getting late. I felt rushed and just paid it and thought I would figure it out when we got back to the hotel. I never was able to piece the prices together and ended up calling Caesars C.S direct.

There are fees associated- which had I had an itemized receipt I would have understood the breakdown. Over the phone I was told there is a processing fee for each ticket. I believe it was $4.50 per ticket on top of the $34.75.
In essence, I paid an extra 19% on each ticket if you break it down to include LV tax@ 7.75%.

Ultimately, it is what it is and to be fair I would do it again. My only wish is that there was transparency from the get-go.

This was a great experience. We purchased our tickets through the Vegas.com website (they offer great discounts). It was me, my husband and our little boy. It takes 30 minutes to go all the way around and you get up to 550 feet. The pods are pretty large and you have space to move around. There were two other families in the pod with us. The only thing that is a little stressful/scary is that the pods don't completely stop for you to get on. So it's sort of moving along as you get on. (Perhaps they do fully stop them if someone is in a wheelchair). They take pictures in front of a green screen before you get on. The pictures are available for purchase at the end of your ride. I recommend this as a fun activity for families or really anyone who wants a unique experience. The view is amazing and you really can see all over Las Vegas. We went in the early evening.

Pretty good! The ride is 30 min long with a good view of the Vegas skyline. You’ll be put into a fixed gondola with about 15 other people or even more during busy hours, so expect to share the view at times. There can be a significant wait (20-30min+) once you get from ticketing to actually get into the gondola, so be prepared for that. Buy tickets in advance to skip the line. I recommend going later at night (they close at midnight) for the best view and shorter lines

I went at 3pm and it wasn't crowded at all. I got in super quick and there were only 4 other guests in the cabin with me. The cabin had seats to sit on, but you could also walk around and have great views in all directions. The ride itself takes 30 minutes. I haven't been at night, but it looked like that's when it gets really busy as I saw a line of people just waiting to get tickets.
