- Your adventure begins with pick-up from your Las Vegas hotel for your ride to Red Rock Canyon. All park entrance fees are included as part of this tour. After a short lesson by experienced professionals, don your helmet and mount your scooter. Follow your guide, zipping through the canyon, past red bluffs and dramatic sandstone and limestone cliffs. Reach an elevation of up to 7,000 feet (2,133 meters) on a loop road. Stop at scenic areas for photo opportunities and listen while your guide tells you about the canyon’s history, geology, and wildlife. Choose to take a desert walk or climb if you’d like. Finish up the day with a ride back to your Vegas hotel.

Scooter Steve and Clem were our excellent tour guides! I had never ridden a scooter before and their parking lot lessons and their encouraging words made me feel comfortable. Nothing better than riding in the Red Rock conservation area in the open air with such beautiful scenery. You stop at several areas for photo ops and learn a lot about the terrain and the people who used to live there. Even with the cold weather ( in the 40s, but they had jackets and gloves for those needing them) I highly recommend this trip if in the Vegas area.

Scooter Steve ranks up there in my experience with great guides all over the world. From the moment of prompt pick up he was immediately engaging- making each guest feel special. He was a wealth of city knowledge and just as much with the Red Rock formations, history, animals, plants etc. He and his partner were highly attentive, made sure everyone was having a good time and the blocking of traffic by the trailing van, great feature! This is a must do in my books!! Don’t miss out.

Thank you to Clem and Bubba for a tour that was efficient, enjoyable and just the right balance of information and focus on the fun. Everything ran to time, the moped riding was two hours in total and no trouble stopping off for a coffee on the way back. Usually groups of up to 12 but on this cold December day we were four. If you’ve never ridden a moped, fear not. As easy as riding a bicycle. Temperature no more than 3 degrees C in the canyon and the wind certainly numbed our faces but scarves, windcheaters and mittens kept us warm enough. Scenery great and nice break from the Las Vegas strip.

My husband and I booked this tour because we wanted to see Red Rock Canyon on our trip but we didn't want to rent a car. Best decision! Scooter Steve picked us up exactly when he said he would in the text he sent earlier in the morning. Steve pointed out interesting places on the drive to the canyon. He is quite funny and I really enjoyed his jokes. I was nervous about riding the scooter but the practice time helped put me at ease. Scooter Steve and Clem were very friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly love what they do. They offered to take pictures of us at each stop and suggested the best places to get them. They even had us pause the tour shortly so we could see a tarantula crossing the road! I had the best time and highly recommend doing this tour!

My family and I went out to Vegas, and decided to try this experience out. I could definitely say it went above and beyond what I had expected. They provided us with wind breakers and gloves because the temperature was insanely cold. And because of this they also gave us hot chocolate! In the many places I’ve traveled, Scooter Steve is such a patient tour guide with a great sense of humor. I went from not knowing how to ride these scooters on the mountains, to knowing how to ride one like a pro in under an hour. I had so much fun, I can’t even begin to describe it. Give this a shot, you won’t regret it.

My husband and I booked our Red Rock Canyon Scooter Tour just the day before the tour. Steve was very prompt to the pickup location although my husband and I went to the wrong place. He was very patient with us even when we slowed pick-ups down by 10 minutes. He was very informative and entertaining during our van ride to the canyon and at every stop on the scooters. Bubba followed our group in the van and was kind enough to let me use his personal gloves after I originally refused the pair at the start. Who knew it would get so chilly through the canyon?! The views were absolutely gorgeous and Steve knew exactly where to get the best shots. I definitely recommend this tour.

Scooter Steve and Bubba were amazing hosts and teachers! We started off with training and they didn't move on to the tour until everyone felt (and looked) comfortable with their rides. It was a chilly but sunny day. We saw a coyote, a tarantula, antelope squirrels, and scenic vistas that will remain with us for life. So many photo ops! Steve & Bubba were more than willing to take group photos -- they all came out great! This was such an amazing experience... We rode and didn't die! We didn't even fall down! Definitely sign up for the gorgeous natural scenery and wear layers. (They had a jacket available in each scooter.) Only our hands got cold, but as mentioned, it was a cold day in the desert, not typical for May in the Vegas area.

We loved this scooter tour! Firstly, their customer service is great. My husband was sick the morning of our booking and we couldn’t go, we still absolutely wanted to though so we made a new reservation for the next day without asking for a refund since technically we were canceling only an hour before our tour. When I let them know that we couldn’t make it but we made a new reservation for the next day they refunded me the 2nd reservation and honored the original payment for our new booking. They really didn’t have to do that so it just shows that they’re trustworthy and decent kind people.
Riding the scooters was easy, even for me! I barely drive and it’s been years since I’ve ridden a bike. Our guides gave us time to practice in a parking lot until everyone was comfortable enough to hit the road. Red rock canyon in Nevada is beautiful and the road is easy to navigate. There are two lanes and the scooters take up one lane so you never have to worry about driving behind or in front of cars. We had plenty of space and other vehicles on the scenic loop respected our space.
The tour was a good balance of wind in the face, photo Ops and learning opportunities, without ever being cheesy or boring. Our guide Clay led the group at a good pace and Rochelle rode in a van behind us so the group could easily stick together without worries of falling behind.
There’s a storage compartment beneath your seat so you can ride comfortably without a purse or backpack on while still having all you need with you. You can meet the tour at the parking lot of red rock canyon (just let the booth attendant know you’re there for the tour and they’ll tell you where to park your car) or they’ll pick you up from your hotel if you’re staying on the strip. It’s a short ride to the strip and a great change in scenery!

The scooter tour reminds you what it's like to be a kid and just have fun. From scootin' around on the scooters, to Scooter Steve and Bubba delivering great jokes and info, to the fresh air, it's hard to pinpoint which was the most fun. But put them all together and you get an enjoyable half day that leaves you smiling.

Been to Vegas 5 times now, this has been my favorite activity so far. Scooter Steve and Bubba were awesome, patient in teaching us “the rope”, the entire tour was entertaining from the time at hotel pick up to drop off. Filled with history and lots of Las Vegas info. Great pictures and views on the tour, I just can’t say enough about how satisfied we were!!!

Thinking they plan for a certain number of riders and only have a set number of scooters available for each trip. Agree you should give them a call and perhaps they can help.
Can the scooters only carry one person? We have a 15 y/o who will only have a permit at the time of our travel.

Hi ,balla , the scooter is designed by 2 adults ,the wight is not more then 250 pounds , ,so if you heavy ,simply book a scooters for two and ride you own ,go solo ,you love it ,this information is update ! good luck !
