- ajwestwood770 contributionsFun time! This was the best excursion we did on our trip! Rochelle and Clem were excellent tour guides and made the ride enjoyable!!Written November 14, 2024
- 0 contributionsWhat a fun day...This was the best thing we did in the Las Vegas area. My husband and I own a scooter and motorcycle but hadn't ridden them in a while, so this was a nice re-introduction to 2 wheeled travel. There were many with us that had never ridden before, and the guides taught and trained everyone in a very methodical approach how to ride. The scenery was beautiful, the roads uncongested and smooth, and with a lead scooter and a follow van, people went at their own speeds. Lots of great information about the Red Rock Canyon park as well. I could have done it all day. Great people.Written October 24, 2024
- cbovenzi0 contributionsGreat tour!Scooter Steve and Bubba were very informative, made us laugh and very knowledgeable about the canyon. Glad we took the tour and the scooters were super fun to ride.Written October 20, 2024
- Rob S0 contributionsBest part of our 3 days in Vegas!!!So glad we found out about this scooter tour! Scooter Steve and Bubba were fantastic; fun, informative, and best of all, great teachers! Neither my wife or I had ever been on a scooter, but with the instruction provided, we were quickly a confident part of the Scooter Steve Scooter Gang! Beautiful scenery all around, made all the more accessible by being on a scooter...what more could you want! Well, Bubba had all-you-can-drink bottled water and provided a nice granola bar as a snack. What are you waiting for...this is the tour you want to be on!Written October 9, 2024
- Kikitina20240 contributionsAbsolutely Amazing! If I could give this tour and the guides 10 stars I would! Clear communication all the way through! This is the best tour I have ever taken while in Vegas. Highly recommended if you have never ridden a scooter or if you are an advanced rider. There is a short training for those who need it to get comfortable.. then the most beautiful one way loop ride at your own pace. The guides have great personalities and knowledge of the area! Just do it, you will not regret it!Written October 9, 2024
- cavemanboogie20000 contributionsWorth ItSteve and Bubba are true professionals, both friendly and knowledgeable. I not only got to ride a scooter, but I also got to see some breathtaking views and learn a little bit of Las Vegas history. Thanks!Written October 1, 2024
- 0 contributionsDon’t miss this!If you’re in the Las Vegas area, this should be at the top of your list of things to do. The tour guide (Clem) and tour facilitator (Bubba) made it such a wonderful experience. They were both so knowledgeable and so supportive. The scenery is just breathtaking and there was something so special about taking it in on a scooter rather than from the inside of a car. We did so many things while we were in the area and this was, by far, my favorite thing to do. Clem took amazing pictures for all participants and I’m grateful for that but, even without pictures, it’s an experience I’ll remember forever.Written September 22, 2024
- beccah8320 contributionsGreat experience! This was such a fun experience! Gorgeous views and fantastic tour guides. I was a little nervous because I’d never been on a scooter but we practiced in the parking lot until everyone felt comfortable and we were encouraged to go the speed we felt comfortable with. Guide did a photo shoot at the overlook for every couple.Written September 10, 2024

- dfz1720 contributionsWhat a Blast..Fantastic time on the scooters. Beautiful scenery, awesome tour guides and an all around great way to get away from the Strip and see the real beauty of Nevada. Clem and Bubba were fantastic and made the tour safe, educational and fun. Great communication and updates from the team and new and well maintained equipment. Clem was very knowledgeable and Bubba provided for a safe and professional road experience.Written August 31, 2024

- Jurora0 contributionsVisited here winter 2023.It's great that the park has set-up timed ticket sales. If people were allowed to come and go from the park, whenever, it could get jammed with cars or hardly anyone there at all. This was a lovely, colourful park to drive through. Hubby and I got out at 2 areas, to have a wander around. A few people were climbing up on the rocks. Would recommend. My daughter and her friend were there the previous spring, and they enjoyed it more than the Grand Canyon, because they could get out of the van they went in and climb around.Written April 26, 2024
- L E0 contributionsWorth the early morning start in Vegas!5 star day with Clem and Bubba at Red Rock Canyon. Pick up was prompt, they got us riding quickly, they provided water and snacks and they catered to every riders experience level. Clem and Bubba are very knowledgeable about the park and clearly enthusiastic about giving everyone a top notch experience. Clem took some tremendous photos for us, I can't say enough good things about it, it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Thank you Clem, Bubba and Red Rock Scooter Tours.Written April 19, 2024

Have to say we were both a bit nervous about riding a scooter, having never done that before. Steve picked up us right on time at the designated pick up point at the hotel. The Van is clearly branded with Red Rock Scooter Tours, so you can't miss them! A short drive with a few more stops to pick up additional riders and we were there! Steve and Matt were great teachers and within a few minutes we were comfortable and ready to go. This is an amazing way to get a feel for the Red Rock Canyon, with multiple stops along the approx 12 mile loop. Each stop was expertly guided by "Scooter" Steve who led the way on his scooter, with "Moped" Matt following up as safety driver in the van in the rear. Steve was full of interesting facts and stories about the area, with something new at each stop. It was a cool day and we dressed for it, but gloves and jackets were also provided just in case you needed another layer. Bottles of water were provided at each stop, as it did get dry out there, even if it was cold. Amazed by the scenery at each turn and stop. A wonderful way to see the area. Once the tour was done, a quick trip back in the van to return us to the hotel. Will definately do it again!!

We loved this scooter tour! Firstly, their customer service is great. My husband was sick the morning of our booking and we couldn’t go, we still absolutely wanted to though so we made a new reservation for the next day without asking for a refund since technically we were canceling only an hour before our tour. When I let them know that we couldn’t make it but we made a new reservation for the next day they refunded me the 2nd reservation and honored the original payment for our new booking. They really didn’t have to do that so it just shows that they’re trustworthy and decent kind people.
Riding the scooters was easy, even for me! I barely drive and it’s been years since I’ve ridden a bike. Our guides gave us time to practice in a parking lot until everyone was comfortable enough to hit the road. Red rock canyon in Nevada is beautiful and the road is easy to navigate. There are two lanes and the scooters take up one lane so you never have to worry about driving behind or in front of cars. We had plenty of space and other vehicles on the scenic loop respected our space.
The tour was a good balance of wind in the face, photo Ops and learning opportunities, without ever being cheesy or boring. Our guide Clay led the group at a good pace and Rochelle rode in a van behind us so the group could easily stick together without worries of falling behind.
There’s a storage compartment beneath your seat so you can ride comfortably without a purse or backpack on while still having all you need with you. You can meet the tour at the parking lot of red rock canyon (just let the booth attendant know you’re there for the tour and they’ll tell you where to park your car) or they’ll pick you up from your hotel if you’re staying on the strip. It’s a short ride to the strip and a great change in scenery!

I’ve never driven a scooter before although my better partner has a motor bike, but this did not matter as all guidance given by scooter Steve was spot on to make sure everyone both novice and expert was safe and had fun. This trip around red rock canyon was one of the highlights of our Vegas trip. We didn’t need to queue to get in, everything was provided for you, Steve and Matt looked after everyone so well, providing great insight at the various stops around the canyon as well as humour and fun. Stunning scenery see whilst pottering around at 25mph this was absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended please book this tour you will have so much fun and see some stunning parts of the canyon.

We were in Las Vegas on business with an open day in our schedule. We have seen and read about the special place called Red Rock Canyon, so we wanted a fun way to tour. Scooters appealed to us from our days touring the southwest on a motorcycle, so it was a must do. Red Rock Scooters Tours was a first class choice, everything from making our reservation to our hotel pickup. Clay was a wealth of information on the drive out to Red Rock. Once there, we met up with Justin, owner of RRST, and our naturalist-guide for the tour. A quick orientation with the scooters (extremely easy) and we were off. We had four stops in the park where Justin provided awesome historical, geological and biological details of the area. And the area was beautiful, inspiring us to plan a return some day. Although it was cold, RRST provided wind jackets, insulated mittens and refreshments (the hot chocolate was killer!). We had a great time and recommend RRST to anyone that wants a fun and fascinating day trip to Red Rock Canyon.

Great time with Scooter Steve and his sidekick Cautious Clay! Trying to reserve for a single rider with their website was tough and I ended up calling to secure my scooter slot. Steve picked me up at an adjacent hotel at 7:50 (glad I was 10 minutes early for 8am scheduled). Clean, comfortable, 30 minute van ride with informative Las Vegas trivia out to Red Rock Canyon. Scooters themselves looking a little worn (faded paint, ripped seat) but they ran like a dream. Company provided warm jackets (as a size 24 woman I was glad I brought my own) gloves, and helmets. Also offered water and perfectly timed hot chocolate. Temps were in the 40s and 50s but wind in the canyon as well as the wind from riding the scooter made it a brisk experience in February. Stopped for several informational nuggets and photo ops along the way and a very interesting "nature walk" (don't worry, gravel and dirt surface but about 50 yards total). Steve and Clay made everyone feel included and took their time with scooter school so we all felt like pros before hitting the blacktop. I was grateful as I had never ridden a scooter before. Now I can hardly wait to ride again! Enjoyed getting one-of-a-kind commentary about the history of the canyon, its early settlers, indigenous flora and fauna, and geology that I could not have gotten renting a car and heading out on my own. Flush toilets are available at the visitor's center (which we did not visit) and latrines at scenic outlooks along the 13 mile loop.

We were in Vegas for a stag weekend and I booked this for our first full day having read the reviews on here. The majority of the group thought the idea of driving round a 13 mile road was boring. It surprised everyone and far exceeded my own expectations. Scooter Steve was a fantastic tour guide giving us insight into the deep history of Red Rock Canyon. The scooter tutorial from Steve and Moped Matt were great and within 20 minutes we all had the hang of it.
We then headed off on our trip around the canyon with a few stops and photo ops along the way. Steve and Matt were happy to take photos for our group.
The canyon itself was a thing of beauty and I’m included to visit again but hire a car and spend more time on the stops along the way.
We were blessed with great weather for the first week of February. Jackets, helmets and gloves were supplied if needed and they also had water which was a godsend.
I’d highly recommend this tour and would definitely like to do it again with my wife. Thank you Steve and Matt!

We had such a great time on this tour. Do not miss it! I had never driven a scooter before, but they made learning quick, easy & fun. My husband is a pro and I was afraid he would be bored waiting for me to learn, but it was perfectly timed and we were surrounded by spectacular scenery. “Scooter Steve” & “Mo-ped Matt” made the entire trip fun & informative, giving instruction & encouragement throughout. The beauty of this canyon and the experience of driving on a scooter with full views was one of the best experiences ever! Can’t wait to do it again!

Scooter Steve ranks up there in my experience with great guides all over the world. From the moment of prompt pick up he was immediately engaging- making each guest feel special. He was a wealth of city knowledge and just as much with the Red Rock formations, history, animals, plants etc. He and his partner were highly attentive, made sure everyone was having a good time and the blocking of traffic by the trailing van, great feature! This is a must do in my books!! Don’t miss out.

This was our first trip to Vegas, so there was no shortage of things to see and do. We decided to try something away from the strip and this was a great choice! Scooter Steve and Moped Matt were awesome. We were picked up from our hotel on the strip and taken right to Red Rock where they started us on the scooter tour. Steve and Matt ran through some basic scooter skills for 20 minutes or so to make sure the entire group was comfortable and ready to go. The tour was roughly 13 miles, mostly on one-way roads. Max speed was about 35mph on some of the long straightaways. The views were unbelievable! We made four stops at various points and Steve and Matt were eager to assist in taking pictures for everybody at all the best spots. Scooter Steve was full of jokes and we loved his dry humor. He even hit us with a ton of knowledge about the city during our drive back to the hotel afterwards. This was an awesome tour and we would absolutely recommend it to everybody!

Best thing that we have done in Vegas! Being a little older and new to scooters, my GF was a little intimidated at first. Rochelle took the time to get her really comfortable and even stayed right with her the whole time. My GF has been to Vegas many times and she said that this tour was the most fun that she has ever had in Vegas. Clay was really cool and friendly. His knowledge of the area and trails as well as the local plants and animals was impressive. I learned quite a lot. This park is full of caves and Native American paintings and Clay took the time to point them out to us. Fortunately, we had a car and stayed all day after the tour and explored the park and had a really great picnic. We will be doing this tour again!!
