- laurafX9880AK0 contributions3 days of wonder in the National Parks!Excellent 3 days! Well worth it. So much to see and very efficient trip for limited time. One of the best trips I've been on. Highly recommend.Written November 4, 2024
- Homer s0 contributionsBest TripThe best trip that I had in my life ! Awesome tour guide and a really great schedule! Those 3 day was a perfect overview of the Canyons and National Parks. It can be recommended to anyone from all countries and all ages !Written October 27, 2024
- T4426VDsabinam0 contributionsWhat an unforgettable experienceWhat an unforgettable trip! The plan was packed which allowed us to see and experience so much! Our guide Johnny was a very careful driver and made sure everything went smooth, we absolutely did not have to worry about anything. Not to mention his great taste of music. I absolutely recommend the trip with Bindlestiff Tours! They have all really well planned and under control.Written October 24, 2024
- christopherj2970 contributionsTerrific 8-Day Private Tour of the Southwest! My wife and I actually did a customized 8-day private tour that involved Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, Monument Valley, and Antelope Canyon, along with a few short side trips. Bindlestiff did a very nice job suggesting the general itinerary, booking the hotels, and keeping us informed as to deadlines and the like. The key to our tour was our guide, Marie Easton, who had also been our guide on an Alaska trip we took in 2023. Marie has driven, hiked, rafted, and camped all over the Southwest so that we knew we were always in good hands. She covered over 1500 miles during our 8 days and showed us the best parts of each national park, as well as some state parks and other points of interest. Even though we traveled a lot of miles, it was easy, comfortable, and seamless. Marie is an excellent driver and great company, with a trove of helpful information as to the sights we were seeing. She also suggested the Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, which was our favorite place to stay on the tour. We are already thinking about the next tour we will take with her.Written October 23, 2024
- stephengB2267TH0 contributionsSouthern USA14-day private tour of Southern USA that as specifically planned to visit different music venues, civil rights, and civil war sites Carefully planned to our wishes. Outstanding guide/driver. Flexible when necessary. Clearly spent a lot of time selecting restaurant options for us to consider. Covered a lot of territory and venues, but always flexible and never rushedWritten October 19, 2024
- D9035OIroberth0 contributionsBindlestiff is a must! This experience far exceeded our expectations. Having Joel as our personal guide was a HUGE asset. Day to day flexibility was amazing. There was a total of 4 of us in our group, and we can't imagine how the experience could have been much better. Many kudos and high fives to Bindlestiff & JoelWritten October 19, 2024
- 282leannee0 contributionsExcellent Tour!Hogan was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the geography, geology, flora, fauna and history en route and in Death Valley. The stretch/bathroom opportunities were perfect. This tour company was kind enough to make me a gluten-free lunch (as I am celiac), which was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour, with this company!Written October 18, 2024
- K6137HZkevinw0 contributionsDeath Valley TourAwesome trip! Highly recommend. Hogan did a fantastic Job! He was very well organized, patient, and gave great insight to the history of the area. You can tell he knew what he was talking about. Will definitely to another tour, hopefully with Hogan.Written October 18, 2024
- T3023IBcindyw0 contributionsTour Family from Rome, India, New York, Maryland, and AtlantaOMG!!!! Amazing tour!!! I highly recommend this tour!!!!! Our tour guide Andre, was highly knowledgeable on the areas and made our adventure amazing. Each stop was out of this world. There was 9 of us in the van that could sit 13, so we had plenty of room. Our group got along perfectly and we became a little tour family for 3 days. It is A LOT to see in 3 days!! We did the camping choice and if I would do this again I would pick the hotel only for the comfort. One great thing about the camping part is that you get to see an amazing sunrise. The easy hikes are long but enjoyable and the moderate hikes are long and strenuous. Don't be afraid to go to lower Antelope Canyon. It is my favorite part of the tour!! Your guide is with you the whole time. In some areas it is very tight and you have to climb over rocks, plus there is a lot of steep stairs. I would not recommend this if you have claustrophobia. My fear was snakes, but there were no snakes. There were too many people from the start to the end for any animal to be in there. I did not see any snakes on this tour. Again I highly recommend this tour!!!!!Written October 17, 2024
- cchemel0 contributionsA tour of many fond memoriesIn almost every respect, bindlestiff and their superb staff have got their act together to produce an outstanding experience. 7 excellent days, well orchestrated with a lot of the drudge of daily accommodation changes taken away from us. Joseph, our guide had many talents and was always accommodating in helping us with our unique food needs. Mario in the office was helpful in dealing with our prepayment difficulties arising in part from a payment system which needs review. The Bindlestiff production was reasonably priced and given my research, managed with reliability and certainty of departure which cannot the said for a good number of their competitors. (A big deal if you are traveling from South Africa to know that your tour will happen as promised.)Written October 16, 2024
- melaniemN802RM0 contributionsDeath ValleyA fabulous day trip- great experience, terrific and knowledgeable guide- comfortable van- I only wish we had more time at each stop!Written October 7, 2024
- Mariah M0 contributionsThe most amazing week ever!Such an amazing, incredible week on this 7 day Southwest Tour. Highly recommend giving this trip a try because it changed my life. So hard to pick a favorite part, but the helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon left me speechless. Marie, my tour guide, was so amazing and kept the chaos of the week feel controlled and not rushed at all. She kept the group having a laugh and having fun all week long!Written September 29, 2024
- RabanePaco0 contributionsA wonderful tour to America's SouthwestI had a wonderful group-tour "America: Highlights of the Southwest". Very well organized, very good, experienced, knowledgeable tour leader. The travel time was regularly interrupted for breaks: lunches (pic-nicks), small sights, gas stops. Sites were extremely interesting and beautiful. Two remarks: luckily I had chosen for lodges / hotels., but what I saw of the camping tour was rather primitive. I think even not a decent camping mattress. The Southwest of the USA it too hot in July with 40 ° C (104 °F).Think about it.Written September 27, 2024
- sohinis5040 contributionsAmazing camping and hiking experience!!I highly recommend this tour for solo travelers, or if you are traveling with family/friends. I had an amazing experience camping for the first time. We covered two national parks - the Grand Teton and the Yellowstone in 4 days. We did a lot of hiking, we drove around the national parks, stopped to photograph wildlife, and then we stayed the night at the campgrounds. The hikes included the trails around the Genny lake, several geysers, canyons, etc. We ended the days chatting around the campfire. It was a very enjoyable experience. The trip was very well organized, and I had a lot of fun! Hailey has been a great tour guide, and she managed everything really well. The temperatures in the park can swing between 90s (Farenheit) during the day to the 40s at night in the summer - so come prepared.Written September 24, 2024
- mandydZ3024MQ0 contributionsGreat experience! The trip was amazing! The pick up was right on time, the pacing of the trip great, our guide was personable and fun. Would book again in a hearbeat!Written September 23, 2024

Bindlestiff Tours out of Vegas are a superb way to see much more of the fabulous area without all the aggravation of car rental and this Ghost Town tour was a great example of seeing the most wonderful old west towns that are just stunning and the photo's are memorable .
Early pick up at your Hotel followed by a great photo stop at Hoover Dam then on through CHLORIDE , OATMAN and EL DORADO ( yes it really does exist !!).
Just wonderful including Clark Gables honeymoon suite in Oatman !
The advantage of these tours is the fantastic superb guides and Mike was a great example of this . Soooo knowledgable friendly helpful funny and an all round good guy who you can't help but like , just sets the right tone , the genuine artivle , no smulch required .
This tour is sooo good i'd do it again tomorrow .Highly recommended .

Las Vegas 4 day stay at the Mirage & tips
My wife and I had a good time in Vegas, we stayed at the mirage, which we found to be in the center of Las Vegas Blvd. making it easy to get to just about anywhere, plus access to the free tram. ( there are two trams one is free the other you pay for) a cab from the airport to the hotel $30.00 about a 20 minute ride. Check in at the hotels are around 4pm, so if you get there earlier, you won’t be able to check in, so check your bags with the bell men. Since we arrived early we had a 4 hour wait, so we used the time to scope out the hotel and we’re the pool was located and it’s hours of operation. At the Mirage the pool opened at 9am but people got on line 1/2 hour earlier,in order to get a free chair before everyone rushes to get one,
otherwise your stuck having to pay for one. You’ll also will fine that some people just put their towels down on the chairs and then walkway not to be seen for hours.
Best times for the pool and chairs early morning or after 230 pm.
Another tip bring a small collapsing cooler, to bring to the pool ( no glass allowed)
Once our room was ready, we just called down to the bell men and our luggage was brought up very quickly. Once we unpacked, we went across the street to Walgreens and purchased waters and other drinks, snacks,to keep in our room in ice buckets, otherwise things can get expensive.
If you’re looking for reasonable food cost, I would recommend going to the miracle mile shopping mall it’s about a 20 minute walk from the mirage. Breakfast at the hotels for two can run from 60 to $80. At the miracle mile we got, two eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, for $5.00 at la Salas which opens at 8am across from there is Blondies, also good deals on breakfast and lunch, there is also a place in the miracle mile we’re anything on the lunch menu is $5.00 we saw it and there was a line for it,so we ate at earl of sandwiches, two small hero’s and free refills for two cost us $21.00, wear comfortable shoes there’s a lot of walking.,hotels seem close to each other but believe me there not, my wife and I were doing about 20 to 25000 steps per day that’s 10 plus mile’s per day
Suggestion bring or buy at cvs or Walgreens, liquid I.v. Great for exhaustion and hang overs, it works quick you mix it with your water.
Also be careful of individual trying to sell you VIP concert passes, it’s a scam, only a promotor can give out VIP passes, and thief usually free.
Hope I’ve given you some insight, Enjoy Vegas.
I found the best time was Labor Day ( Sunday to Thursday) we found it less crowded.

We took this trip on a Saturday, with our guide Joel. The whole day was very interesting, Joel being a mine of information. He clearly does a lot of research and reading, and is more than willing to pass all of this on. The ghost towns are absolutely fascinating, and a total contrast to the madness that is the Las Vegas strip. The only reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is a lot of driving in between each town, although the amount of time spent in each one is about right. A really enjoyable day out.

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed our Ghost Town Explorer Tour despite the distance between locations. The desolation of the towns may have contributed to their ultimate downfall. Joel is a fantastic guide and it sounds like he was able to entertain and educate you with his knowledge and stories. We hope to see you again!
