Your tour begins with pickup at your Las Vegas hotel. Meet your guide, board an air-conditioned minibus and relax on the drive to Death Valley National Park. The first stop of the day is Zabriskie Point, home to a maze of eroded, vibrantly colored badlands that the area is famous for. Explore the area before boarding the minibus for the next stop. Take the scenic route to Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere, sitting 282 feet (85 meters) below sea level. Visit the protected salt flats that are too harsh for most plants and animals to survive. Next, drive up to Dante’s Peak, a mountaintop overlook more than 5,000 feet (1,524 meters) above the valley. Spend time enjoying the views before stopping for lunch (included). The final stop of the day is the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. Browse the books and collect a Death Valley stamp in your National Park passport before heading back to Las Vegas for drop off at your hotel.

The wonders of canyons and valleys.
A great trip. Alex ( not sure of his last name it could be Bregland), was our guide for the 3 day tour. We were a bit wary and weary because we haven’t taken tours that often and I have a few dietary issues, but Alex just seemed to take charge in a subtle and friendly manner and that allowed us to relax. He provided us with relevant and interesting facts along the journey and made plenty of stops for everyone’s comfort. We were delighted with the accommodation and the ease of checking in - Alex did it all so smoothly. The food was organised to provide us with varieties and healthy options. Loved the pot roast in the park, the blueberry flour tacos at Michelle’s place. ( I think that was her name). Also the very entertaining stop off for burgers and shakes in Seligman Snowtop. The Monument Valley was awesome, Bryce’s Canyon otherworldly almost and The Grand Canyon was a wonder. Our helicopter trip didn’t come off. We were absolutely delighted with our guide Alex and the tour was fabulous so we are now looking forward to planning another one with Bindlestiff.

          Fabulous!
I just returned from Bindlestiff's Grand Canyon & more 3 day tour. It was Fabulous! It provided a well-planned itinerary of fascinating places (Zion National Park, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon (optional & a must!), Monument Valley & the Grand Canyon. We were a perfect size group of twelve international travelers in a comfy van plus our delightful Tour Guide, Jade. We had enough time to immerse ourselves in each location and enjoy each experience. When on the road, Jade played upbeat themed music, weaved interested facts into a story and allowed quiet snooze time; plus the rest stops were well-spaced. On the first day we actually were in 3 states!!! Jade's yummy restaurant selections served the needs of each of the travelers' dietary requirements and the overnight accommodations were clean, comfortable & provided a nourishing breakfast. A special shout-out to Jade for her ability to "herd cats" while being attentive to each traveler's personal needs. She engaged with each of us in conversation and was delightful with a good sense of humor. A warm Thank You to Jade and Bindlestiff Tours!!!

Great family tour of some of the most iconic parks in the Southwestern US
We had an amazing trip that we will always remember. Our wonderful tour guide met us in Las Vegas and we set off for Zion national park. We chose the easier river walk trail and still had a great time. We paid extra to do the antelope canyon tour and it was well worth it. The pictures were amazing. Monument Valley was even more amazing in person after seeing it many times in westerns I used to watch. Our jeep guide was very informative and entertaining. Horseshoe bend was just a short trip from the hotel and a nice way to end the day. The final day at the Grand Canyon was breathtaking. We did the rim trail which was a nice easy walk. I think May was a great time to do this tour. Temperatures were mild and the parks didn’t seem too crowded.

          Excellent, well organised tour.
A wonderful trip, made better by having a good tour guide ( Jade ) she was very informative, and made the trip memorable. Each day we were given a sum up of what to expect. We were up early to make the travel out to the different canyons, parks ect. The hotel accomodation was very good. We saw a lot on the three days, it was a full intinery. I particularly enjoyed Antelope canyon. You wont be disapointed on this tour, finally on our return to Vegas we went on route 66. Pick up for the tour is from the Mirage hotel, this may change as it is being rebuilt, and changed. Thanks again to Jade for a wonderful time.

Incredible Trip, Incredible Group, Incredible Guides!
5 STARS! This was one of the most incredible trips I've ever experienced, from viewing the hanging gardens in Zion National Park, to walking through the sandstone walls of Antelope Canyon, to star-gazing in Monument Valley, and seeing one of the natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon, I cannot recommend this trip enough! It's suitable for hikers and adventurers of all levels, with opportunities to explore more in-depth or leisurely walk through some of the most beautiful landmarks. Our tour guides, Amy and Jade, were part of why this trip was as extraordinary as it was. They went above and beyond to ensure we saw and experienced all the American Southwest has to offer, often doing so with time to spare! They were the perfect mix of patient, accommodating, informative, and FUN! Lastly, a huge shout out to my tour group! I was lucky to have met some amazing young women on this trip, from all over the world. Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!

Most Amazing Family Vacation Ever! The 7-day private tour of the Southwest National Parks (hotel version)
Hard to put into words but this was the perfect way for our family to experience the dramatic sites and cultural experiences of the southwest National Parks! We had the most amazing tour guide (Thanks Marie!) and the agenda was the right balance of keeping us engaged while covering so much ground. Each National Park had its own unique and wonderful qualities and this 7-day tour gave us just enough time to soak up the natural beauty. Also, there are hikes and tours for all ages (we let the boys take on the more difficult hikes while Mom and Dad took the more accessible routes. The pick up and drop off in Las Vegas was very convenient and allowed us just enough time to enjoy a few nights in Las Vegas. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Best way to see the parks!
The 7-day Southwest Highlights tour was amazing! Alex and Amber were terrific guides that helped to give us options to make the most of our time at each tour stop. They also took care of setting up camp most days and prepared great meals throughout the trip. The trip was well organized, and we stopped often during the drive. I recommend this tour to people who want an active vacation, checking a number of National Parks off their list, but don't want to do all of the research needed to make it happen.

3 Day Mini National Park Explorer Tour
Did the 3 day mini park explorer tour to Zion, Bryce, Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon and Grand Canyon. Joe and Adrian, our guides, were exceptional and made the trip comfortable and very memorable. They were knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating to special requests, and very approachable. Great planning, incredible views and hikes, a real window to the American southwest. This was my second tour with bindlestiff and I highly recommend traveling with them!

          Absolutely incredible experience
Having never been to the aforementioned National Parks, I knew I one day had to go explore them. I am over-the-moon happy I chose Bindlestiff Tours (the 3-Day National Parks Mini Explorer) to reach these amazing destinations. Everything from the itinerary, lunches, lodging/camping, driving and educational pieces were taken care of and delivered with passion, care, and expertise. Our tour guide Adriann along with accompanying guides Amy, Alex & Joe were exceptionally knowledgeable, passionate about the field, as well as friendly, approachable, fun and professional. Bonus points for such a thoughtfully put together road trip playlist! Joel was not the friendliest tour guide. Very boring ! And they cut about 10-15 min on each stop and skipped one. They say they gps track the tour but we completely skipped a stop so I’m not sure they actually do. Forget it if you have a dietary restriction bc they will completely screw up.
You can tell when a company doesn’t even try when the item they buy you for lunch is a small side and in big letters states the allergy you clarified you couldn’t eat but they still get that for you. Tour guide was nice enough to buy some chips at the gas station how nice that’s what my lunch a bag of chips and an apple
Dearth Valley on the other hand was amazing

This guest attempted to obtain a refund by claiming that she was not picked up for the tour. This proved unsuccessful when we provided a copy of the waiver that she signed upon joining the tour. She has now proceeded to post multiple reviews under different user names and has been reported to Trip Advisor. Our prior response to Ingrid is pasted below along with a Trip Advisor review from a gentleman called Adam who was on this tour with Ingrid. Dear Ingrid, We are sorry that you found the guide commentary boring. We are known for our expert guides and their passion for giving detailed area information and entertaining stories. It's what's expected on a 'guided tour'. All of our vehicles are geo tracked so we are unsure as to what you mean by a missed stop. Zabriskie Point and 20 mules team canyon are both viewed from the same place and we show that the tour stopped there as advertised, as with all the other stops. We talked with our guide about the lunch options and you were given exactly what you ordered for lunch- a vegetarian boxed lunch and a vegan salad with extra fruit and extra potato chips. We are sorry that you felt this was inadequate but I can assure you that you got exactly what you ordered. Reviewed by L9664WNadamm Mar 28, 2021 ________________________________________ Death Valley from Las Vegas 5 STARS This tour of Death Valley is a must. Our tour guide, Joel, was exceptional in all aspects. From the time of pickup all the way through the tour, Joel did an excellent job sharing history of Death Valley. I learned far more than expected. At all times, Joel encouraged guests to ask questions and share experiences they've had. My 2 favorite points were Dante's Viewpoint and the Devil's Golf Course. Both were super unique and had an "other-than-earthly" feel to them. I really enjoyed Badwater Basin as well. There were several other stops to include going past ghost towns and abandoned mines. This tour was so good I'm definitely up for taking friends or family on this exact tour with Joel and Bindlestiff Tours in the future. This is highly recommend.

A very high quality tour company. Having been recommended by friends I decided to take my family on Bindlestiff Tours private Death Valley day tour from Las Vegas. Bindlestiff Tours responded promptly to all of my questions, booking process was smooth - I booked directly with them. Pick up was on time and in a spacious touring vehicle - looked brand new! Our Tour Guide Joel was phenomenal. A walking encyclopedia. Joel made the tour fun and exciting for our two children. We learned alot, had a blast and enjoyed a lovely boxed lunch at the visitor center. Death Valley itself is a fascinating place and we thoroughly enjoyed our day out. Highly recommend this tour company.

A wonderful day trip to Death Valley. Guide Joel is fantastic. His exceptional knowledge of the geology and history of the valley kept us engaged and entertained the entire day. Bad Water Basin Bonus: we waded in the salty water of the intermittent Lake Manly. Joel's suggested readings on the history of Death Valley and Las Vegas have been added to my must read list.

Who knew this was so close? Not me. If it were not for the pandemic shut down I probably still would not. I am so glad we went on this day trip. Rachel, our guide, really knew LasVegas history and kept you interested during the drive with facts you never knew. She packed a nice lunch and knew all the rest stops. The park is literally stunning. One of these days, I would love to go back when it is in bloom. But, the colors in the hills you will not likely see anywhere else. And, the salt flat was amazing. Don't try do drive this yourself. It is very remote and someone who knows what they are doing will. make the trip so much more relaxed. I highly recommend this very professional company. Their staff's main goal is to make sure you have a great time...and it sure was.

Very informative, entertaining tour led by Joel. We opted for a private family tour for only a small additional cost and did not regret it! Joel was extremely accommodating of our family members' desire to do a short run surrounded by the evocative scenery of Death Valley. He also regaled our children with fascinating stories of historical figures from Death Valley's past.

        Amazing trip with Joel.
Everything well planned and executed. Brand new car. Perfect driving.
Besides the great outdoors, Joel's storytelling talents were _the_ highlight of the trip. His knowledge on geography, geology and history of the Death Valley is astounding.
I can understand that one can read a lot. But how he remembers all of it?
Each of his stories is a material for an Oscar-quality movie screenplay.
Some material based on Dante Alighieri :)

I recently went on two tours with Bindlestiff Tours- the 7 day Yellowstone Rocky Mountain tour (see separate review) and this one. Both were amazing. This is a top notch company with fantastic guides. Great customer service team- just great all round. Death Valley was HOT! our guide Khriss was exceptionally knowledge and kept us well entertained and well hydrated throughout the day. Good boxed lunch and adequate time at all the stops.

My son and I were booked on this and the other person did not show, so it turned out to be a private tour.
Joel the guide was extremely knowledgeable and never stopped talking the whole way providing excellent information on everything, even pointing out the burrowing owls!!
The whole experience was amazing and it is a place where you cannot tell people how good it is, they have to see it for themselves.
I would thoroughly recommend it to others.

We would totally recommend this tour. Our tour guide Joel was fantastic; a great storyteller, clearly passionate and knowledgable about the whole area, its history, characters and fokelore. He also struck a great balance between giving us space and time to explore and being there to offer information or answers to questions, with humour and patience! The locations and landscape were breath taking - truly awe inspiring. Zabriske point was a highlight, as well as the opportunity to explore the cascade of colours at Artist’s Palette. It’s the perfect day tour from Vegas and offers a completely different experience from the noise and craziness of Las Vegas.

Our day at Death Valley was simply magical. Joel, our guide, made it unforgettable with his captivating storytelling. Amidst the stunning desert scenery, his witty commentary kept us engaged and entertained. The provided lunch and water ensured our comfort, while Joel's insightful historical anecdotes added depth to our experience. Highly recommend this tour for a memorable adventure!
