          The best tour ever!!! 5/5*
WOW this tour has made our holiday. Clayton was our tour guide. He went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and answered all our questions and more. He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The Little Al’Le’Inn was truly special. The staff were super friendly and made us all feel welcome. The food was lovely. The atmosphere was really chilled and pleasant. We visited a number of souvenir shops and they were really cool. The staff again were super welcoming and chatty. Thank you so much for making our holiday so unforgettable. We will remember this forever. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you Clayton. H & B, Liverpool, UK

When knowledge oozes out from your driver with a pun !!
We took this full day tour driven by an exceptional guide cum driver Michel. Trust me, this guy was no ordinary driver. He has lot of knowledge on most of the subject related to habitat, vegetation, history, artefact's, (can tell you the poses too while clicking pics) and when I say knowledge, man its deep. It would not be a fun trip without him believe me. If you guys want to do this tour Michel is MUST HAVE as your driver cum guide !!

          AREA 51 🛸
We had the best day venturing out to Area 51! Our tour guide Kirk was just amazing from pick up to drop off. Kirk was so pleasant and full of knowledge about this mysterious place and all of the other places we stopped along the way. Our lunch at Rachel was delicious and the staff there were so inviting. A great tour that I would recommend to anyone who are “believers” or not all in all it’s just a fun filled day especially if you have the delightful Kirk as your guide! Best wishes to all that run Adventure Photo Tours and to you too Kirk thanks for a memorable day!

GRAND CANYON HOOVER DAM AND BEYOND!
My three adult children and myself chose to do a private tour out to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. From the very first contact with Patsy and Donna from Adventure Photo Tours everything went so smooth! What a great team you have with your booking staff and your guides! On our day of the tour right from the pick up point at our hotel we knew that our tour was off to a great start. Clayton our tour guide greeted us with a huge smile and welcoming persona. Breakfast bars, fruit juice were offered to start our day along with water and snacks for the entire day. There was not one part of the tour that any of us could complain about. The stops along the way, the absolutely spectacular Grand Canyon, the lunch choices and the beautiful lunch we chose which was at Hualapai Point, Hoover Dam with a great tour of the underground mechanics of the dam, then on to see the delightful mountain goats in Boulder City - the whole day was just amazing! Clayton was so knowledgable, polite and caring he made us laugh so much and was an absolute joy to spend a long day with! Absolutely one of the best days my children and I have had! Thank you so so much Clayton for being part of our USA experience you are a credit to your wonderful team at Adventure Photo Tours! Best wishes to you all Julie and family x

Adventure Photo Tours - Avoid at All Costs
The following is my experience of having the misfortune of booking with Will and Donna Tryon owners of Adventure Photo Tours. Our driver/guide Christian was amazing. I recently had an appalling experience on one of their tours. This company claimed to offer ‘luxury transport’, but the reality couldn't be further from the truth. Their disregard for customer health and safety is truly shocking. We were in a minibus for a gruelling 5.5-hour journey to the Grand Canyon in unbearable 47-degree heat. The vehicle had no working air conditioning, despite their advertisement boasting ‘luxury transportation’. This led to severe discomfort for everyone on board; my wife suffered from heatstroke and was physically sick and I also felt very unwell, It's outrageous that they would subject customers to such conditions without any concern. Despite reaching out to the company multiple times via email, we received one non helpful response and then we were ignored. This isn't just a one-off occurrence—reviews (June 2024 headed ‘Terrible. Read my Description’- 1 Star review) reveal that they have a history of ignoring customer complaints and providing substandard transport, clearly they knew about the air conditioning issue some 5 weeks before subjecting us to heat stroke. Will and Donna Tryon seem more interested in offering lip service rather than actually ensuring the well-being of their clients. The phrase “something special” is a phrase they commonly use to respond. The fact that Will and Donna Tryon think anyone would rebook seems rather arrogant! While the owners might reply with what sounds like a well-crafted response, don't be fooled. Their actions speak louder than their words—they simply don't care. If you value your safety, wellbeing, comfort, and overall experience, I strongly recommend you choose a different operator. Adventure Photo Tours is not worth the risk. Avoid at all costs. It is worth noting no other transport we used during our 9 days in Las Vegas had air conditioning problems, therefore they did not have to try to convince us the cause of the problem was a heatwave, lame! If you have had a similar horrible experience and booked via Get Your Guide, contact them as they are a professional company who actually listen, care and communicate! In your response to this review Will and Donna Tryon, please clarify your description of ‘luxury transport’ and enquire if my wife is well and why you have removed the word luxury from your subsequent adverts. Please also explain why you ignore customer emails but not reviews? Shame on you Will and Donna Tryon!

          Fantastic Fascinating Tour!
We pre booked this trip from the UK before our arrival to Vegas, booking process was excellent, done via phone call at a time convenient for myself being in the UK. We were picked up on time from a nearby hotel, Captain Kirk our tour guide is truly something else! He was amazing from start to finish, very informative throughout the whole trip, bearing in mind this is a full day tour he continuously amazed us with his wealth of knowledge and fun facts along the way! As we were picked up early in the morning Kirk took us to the Welcome to Las Vegas sign to get some pictures as there was no queue at this time of day, this was a lovely surprise and gesture and really made the day more special. The trip was truly fascinating, it’s a lot more than just going to Area 51, we saw “Janet” airways at the airport, stopped at a couple of fantastic gift shops to pick up some unique alien themed goodies, had a lovely lunch at the Alien inn cafe, this was included in the price plus tip which again was a lovely touch, there were photo opportunity’s here too. We also stopped at a dry lake which was fascinating and eerily quiet! Throughout the tour we had numerous photo opportunities at various locations which are lovely memories, Kirk was always readily available to take the pictures and knows the best spots and angles. Throughout the tour Kirk would offer water and snacks which was fab with it being July, and he was very good at including everyone in the conversations whilst in the tour bus, Kirk wore a headset which was fantastic as everyone could hear clearly what was being said and he would regularly check that we were all ok, plenty of toilet breaks throughout the day so nobody was uncomfortable and being informed of how long till the next break was very handy! Air con in the bus worked a treat and at no point anyone looked hot or uncomfortable. I would highly recommend this tour company and trip, it’s truly fascinating and if you’re lucky enough to get Captain Kirk as your tour guide you’re in for a fantastic day of fun!

Hollywood VIP trip is amazing. Thanks again Christian
My wife Tracey and I (Mick) decided to arrange for this company to book us on their “Hollywood VIP Tour”. And we are so glad we used this tour company as the day was spectacular. The driver/guide Christian has a fun and friendly manner, taking time to make sure all of his customers had a great time. Stopping off at Californian sights etc. and using his local knowledge to explain each area's photographic sights and exhibitions. Thanks again Christian, you were great ! The vehicle we travelled in was a mid sized luxury van with AC. This is a very long day’s excursion, and a point we would like to make to the general management of Adventure Photo Tours is that maybe they should look into having a co-driver to assist the main driver. We found it was putting a lot of pressure on one individual to commentate whilst driving. But, once again, it was a fantastic excursion.

Great experience at a reasonable cost
This is was a great tour which was made even better by Michael who was the tour guide, an extremely knowledgeable gentleman. We were picked up at 6.30am and even told that there was a small delay of 5 mins, the customer service was excellent. The tour is a long day, but they provided us with a simple breakfast and a lunch at the Grand Canyon restaurant which was lovely. Also through the day they provided snacks and lots of water which was very much needed in the 47 degree heat. The Helicopter tour of the Canyon was brilliant and something that I will remember for the rest of my life. Hoover Damn was great and also photo stops on the journey back to Vegas, lots of time to do what you need to do. I believe one couple on the tour complained about the breakfast, the mini bus and not being able to sit together, they did bring the mood down slightly and so they got the cold shoulder from everyone else on the bus. Only negative, the Air con on the bus does not reach the back and in that heat it was unbearable at times, but that can't be the fault of the operator. Other than the horrible couple and the heat, it was a brilliant day and Michael was outstanding. When I go to Vegas again I will be doing the Area 51 tour as I expect that to be as good. Thanks again to the operator and Michael.

          Terrible. Read my description
I booked the Grand Canyon and Hoover damn tour thru you guys for Friday June 14. We were picked up promptly at 6:45 at Paris hotel by Michael our guide. First off Michael did a great job all day. Could have had one or two less nature stops but that feeling was more than likely brought on by the main issue I’m about to discuss. As we left Vegas in the morning we noticed the air conditioner wasn’t feeling proper. Me and my group set in the back two rows in the sprinter 14 passenger van except for my friend Tim he set up front with Michael. Well as the morning went on we got hot in the back. No air flow and not much cooling at all. Keep in mind this was early. As the day went on we started sweating and had virtually no cooling in the background we were beading sweat down the seats and ourselves. It was literally like a sauna in the back. We notified Michael and he was doing all he could do. Air was on high and everything. Us and a group from England were miserable the entire day. Me and my folks from my group are not ones to complain about anything but this was just unacceptable. There was no air flow or anything for the back half of the van. It got to the point that nobody wanted to continue they just wanted to get back to hotel. It was cooler outside than in the van. It was literally like a sauna in the back rows. If we had been a hair closer to Vegas we would have discontinued the tour and took a Uber or something back. Our friend Tim was actually sweating in the front also as the day went on. Just as a gauge of the severity of this. My wife grabbed a shower at the room when we got back and was unable to go to dinner because of exhaustion. I would have expected alittle refund for my trip. I never asked for that but would have expected of them to offer some refunds. The trip basically was ruined. So go with another company next time they would have made the trip right after the fact when something like this happened with some form of refund They told me in a email the cabin air filters were clogged after the fact . That’s not true i am a mechanic by trade and the air was blowing perfect. The ac itself had issues.

          What a great day!!
I loved this tour!! It was so unique and so fun. Our guide, Michael was so knowledgeable about botany, the geology and of course, Area 51. I highly recommend this tour. The people at Adventure Photo Tours were so kind and helpful. The Dry Lake bed (Playa), the Alien themed cafe, Area 51, the Joshua Trees and the beauty of the Nevada desert. It was all there. Worth every penny.

This was an amazing trip. Initially, I had planned renting a car in Vegas and drive myself. Very glad didn't do that as for sure the experience wouldn't have been the same. Marcus, our driver, was very courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took us to a number of spots that we might have probably missed if we were on our own. Marcus' driving made us feel safe. What we saw was unbelievable and I highly recommend this tour if you have never been to Death Valley. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the food arrangements, I believe, could have been better organized. In particular, breakfast was not that appealing (a couple of small biscuits, water/orange juice). At this time of the year (little chillier than usual), a hot beverage (coffee and hot chocolate for children) and pastries would probably be a more appealing choice when hitting the road at 7am. For the price of the tour I'm sure the company can accomodate that. I'm saying this because I did other tours in Vegas and they do what I described. Anyway, excellent experience overall.

Hi, and thank you for your review. We are delighted you had a fun day with Marcus. Yes, taking a tour always gives you information and places you might miss on your own. Thank you for the suggestions, we'll try to make that happen. You've got me thinking of ways we could accommodate your request with the vehicles and space we have. Very good! This was our second time on this trip, and it was once again amazing! This tour packs in so many great stops in a short time. December was a great time to go as well because the cooler temperatures meant it was possible to hike around a bit and explore. Our driver, Marcus, was amazing and made us feel safe and taken care of the entire time despite some surprise weather conditions! Definitely highly recommended!

This trip really makes you feel as if you are on a different planet! The ghost town of Rhyolite was also super fun! We were picked up right on time from our hotel. Our guide Marcus was very prompt and allowed plenty of time at each of the stops to take pictures and enjoy the views. He provided just enough information on the road about each of the points and was always there to take pictures at each of the spots. There were plenty of bathroom stops along the way. Lunch was pre-ordered Subway sandwiches, and there was also plenty of water and snacks provided for the road. This trip is definitely worth your time and money!

The tour was very well organised, covered a lot of ground. Fantastic scenery, informed commentary and a group of friendly people. All good! Very hot and awe inspiring, this needs to be considered for the faint hearted! Also a fair degree of physical fitness is needed as there is some walking / hiking to take advantage of the views & scenery ! Chris Burke May 2023

Hi Chris, Thank you so much for the detailed review. Yes, Death Valley is truly an amazing place. I've been there so many times and it never gets old. Please come back there are so many great places yet to see. Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners

Imagine our surprise when were wearing sweatshirts and gloves at Death Valley. The temperature finally made it up to around 70 degrees but the winds were howling and made it feel much cooler. There we were in Bad Water Basin, freezing our butts off in the hottest place on earth. LOL

Great tour, lots of picture stops and leg stretching opportunities. Our guide Clayton made the trip very enjoyable. We highly recommend this trip.

I was in Vegas for a convention and had an extra day to do something by myself. The trip was awesome. It’s not easy to see Death Valley in one day but the tour was going through some of the most amazing parts. Lynda and Scott did a great job. Very professional. Including a little breakfast, lunch and snacks. Recommend the Bobbie sandwich. Well done.

We had a wonderful day with Adventure Photo Tours visiting Death Valley. Our tour guide, Philip, was excellent. He kept us entertained with fun facts and stories throughout the day. He kept the trip moving smoothly and we certainly saw so much more with the tour than if we had driven ourselves. I would highly recommend this tour, and our guide, Philip-you will be amazed at the vastness of Death Valley and the different topography and sights you will see. Jasmine N.

We did this on the 29th of August and as you could imagine as it is in summer we expexted it to be a warm day in the Death Valley which would be right.

So at first to the pick up which was on time and our guide Philip let us feel as individuals and explained to us important things before boarding the minibus.
After us there were two other pick-ups and then we got breakfast which was a cheese stick, a puff pastry, orange juice and crackers which was very nice.

Our first stop was one hour away from Las Vegas on a petrol station where we were able to buy some coffee or go to the toilet (even if our guide recommended to wait until the next stop).

After that we stopped at. Ernie's store and were able to get something to eat even if lunch was included or just get some nuts of sweets (never seen so many different types of that in one place) or just go to the toilet.

Then we went to an old mining town (I forgot the name unfortunately) and then we entered the Death Valley where we stopped at Devil's Lookout, the sanddunes, Furnace Creek Visitor Centre (here we got our lunch), Badwater Basin and much more....
It was fascinating and beautiful even if we felt like we were dying in Badwater Basin because it was so hot, but as I've already mentioned we had expected that.

As you've already read we really loved the Death Valley and the tour conception now to our guide Philip:
You cannot be more lucky than having Philip as your guide who knows a lot of things and always tries to help you with your pictures and simply everything. I mean he know so much even if he is originally from Australia. I really enjoyed the trip with him, because he always let us feel welcome and be an individual and not only a group of thirteen people. He also always recommended to take enough water with us and also always gave us, if necessary and wished, fresh, cooled water provided by the company. He also always tried to make everyone's tour an everlasting memory.
Philip, it was a pleasure to be your guest.

An exceptional tour. Not only were the sights out of this world, but the commentary by Philip was informative and amusing - what this guy doesn't know about geology, flora and fauna isn't worth knowing.
A well organised, informative tour with a courteous knowledgeable guide.
