This is extremely delayed a review from my end, as I did this tour last year in August 2019 -- Took the tour from vegas for a day trip to death valley and our tour guide was brilliant. He was considerate of the heat, kept reminding us to hydrate, took photos of those of us traveling alone so we could have memories and made multiple photo spots (devil's golf course, the sand dunes, The visitor center with the outdoor thermometer, bad water basin, salt flats, the sign board of death valley, artists drive, zabriskie point, and a lunch stop at furnace creek. The stops were long enough, he drove safely and told us loads of history of the area. Extremely knowledgeable)

I did a lot of research and picked this tour, it did not disappoint. It was a small group of 4 people so was easy for everyone to keep to time.

I can't remember the guide's name, think it started with M but he was a brilliant tour guide, he did not push for tips like most tour guides too and he totally deserved the tips though.

This was our second time on this trip, and it was once again amazing! This tour packs in so many great stops in a short time. December was a great time to go as well because the cooler temperatures meant it was possible to hike around a bit and explore. Our driver, Marcus, was amazing and made us feel safe and taken care of the entire time despite some surprise weather conditions! Definitely highly recommended!

This trip really makes you feel as if you are on a different planet! The ghost town of Rhyolite was also super fun! We were picked up right on time from our hotel. Our guide Marcus was very prompt and allowed plenty of time at each of the stops to take pictures and enjoy the views. He provided just enough information on the road about each of the points and was always there to take pictures at each of the spots. There were plenty of bathroom stops along the way. Lunch was pre-ordered Subway sandwiches, and there was also plenty of water and snacks provided for the road. This trip is definitely worth your time and money!

We did a lot of research before picking Adventure Photo Tours for our day trip to Death Valley and they did not disappoint! Communication with the company was always prompt and friendly. The van was very comfortable and spacious for all passengers. The meals provided were excellent and, most importantly, there were a lot of sites packed in without ever feeling rushed. Our guide was professional and gave us a lot of information as well as helping out with photos and taking care of everyone. Definitely recommended!

My husband and I had an excellent trip to Death Valley - small group, no hustle, departed in time, visited all highlights. Our driver Marcus was friendly, told stories during the way, made photos for us and provided cold water all the way. Definitely recommend this tour operator!

Imagine our surprise when were wearing sweatshirts and gloves at Death Valley. The temperature finally made it up to around 70 degrees but the winds were howling and made it feel much cooler. There we were in Bad Water Basin, freezing our butts off in the hottest place on earth. LOL

Great tour, lots of picture stops and leg stretching opportunities. Our guide Clayton made the trip very enjoyable. We highly recommend this trip.

I was in Vegas for a convention and had an extra day to do something by myself. The trip was awesome. It’s not easy to see Death Valley in one day but the tour was going through some of the most amazing parts. Lynda and Scott did a great job. Very professional. Including a little breakfast, lunch and snacks. Recommend the Bobbie sandwich. Well done.

We had a wonderful day with Adventure Photo Tours visiting Death Valley. Our tour guide, Philip, was excellent. He kept us entertained with fun facts and stories throughout the day. He kept the trip moving smoothly and we certainly saw so much more with the tour than if we had driven ourselves. I would highly recommend this tour, and our guide, Philip-you will be amazed at the vastness of Death Valley and the different topography and sights you will see. Jasmine N.

We did this on the 29th of August and as you could imagine as it is in summer we expexted it to be a warm day in the Death Valley which would be right.

So at first to the pick up which was on time and our guide Philip let us feel as individuals and explained to us important things before boarding the minibus.
After us there were two other pick-ups and then we got breakfast which was a cheese stick, a puff pastry, orange juice and crackers which was very nice.

Our first stop was one hour away from Las Vegas on a petrol station where we were able to buy some coffee or go to the toilet (even if our guide recommended to wait until the next stop).

After that we stopped at. Ernie's store and were able to get something to eat even if lunch was included or just get some nuts of sweets (never seen so many different types of that in one place) or just go to the toilet.

Then we went to an old mining town (I forgot the name unfortunately) and then we entered the Death Valley where we stopped at Devil's Lookout, the sanddunes, Furnace Creek Visitor Centre (here we got our lunch), Badwater Basin and much more....
It was fascinating and beautiful even if we felt like we were dying in Badwater Basin because it was so hot, but as I've already mentioned we had expected that.

As you've already read we really loved the Death Valley and the tour conception now to our guide Philip:
You cannot be more lucky than having Philip as your guide who knows a lot of things and always tries to help you with your pictures and simply everything. I mean he know so much even if he is originally from Australia. I really enjoyed the trip with him, because he always let us feel welcome and be an individual and not only a group of thirteen people. He also always recommended to take enough water with us and also always gave us, if necessary and wished, fresh, cooled water provided by the company. He also always tried to make everyone's tour an everlasting memory.
Philip, it was a pleasure to be your guest.

An exceptional tour. Not only were the sights out of this world, but the commentary by Philip was informative and amusing - what this guy doesn't know about geology, flora and fauna isn't worth knowing.
A well organised, informative tour with a courteous knowledgeable guide.
