The guide was amazing. Super friendly. There was a lot of traffic but the guide was very adamant about making pic stops and did his very best to get us to Zion for the hike. We didn't get to hike as much as we wanted but our guide didn't rush us because he knew we didn't get to do as much as we wanted. Donna was amazing help prior to the tour too!

Had a really awesome day. Tour guide very knowledgeable and made sure we were pointed in the right direction to be sure we saw /did the best stuff at Zion while at the same time very patient and respectful and open to what we wanted to do. I definitely recommend this trip.

We did this tour on July 5th with Clayton as our guide, he was super knowledgeable and gave us so much information on where we were going. Zion National park is stunning with great photo opportunities, we did a short hike of the Narrows. The buses in the park keep moving and is a good thing as they are not air conditioned. We did some sightseeing outside of the park also, with some amazing views. Lunch was provided and lots of snacks and water to keep us going. Highly recommend this trip!!!

Our tour guide Paul was horrible. I could not pay attention to the tour because I was too focused on his reckless driving and pill popping. I asked him several times to slow down and he would laugh and say don't worry I'm a professional. I won't ever use this company again this was the worst uninformative and scariest tour I've ever been on.

An amazing day!! Our tour guide Bill was amazing. A Las Vegas resident was a waking Wikipedia page. Tons of knowledge about everything along the way. Made a few fun quick stops to point out things of interest. Highly highly recommend this tour.

We booked a day tour from Vegas to Zion. Other than some photo ops quickly noted b the driver during transit, this is primarily a self-guided tour, so if you're seeking a fully guided tour, this is something to keep in mind. The cost includes transfer from and to your hotel, a bagged lunch, and entrance into the park. The park itself offers free ranger-guided tours at specific times, which is definitely an option with advance planning and independent travel. Once we arrived at Zion, we were dropped off with a map and our lunch and the driver returned several hours later to pick us up.

The rating is based not just on our disappointment in finding that the trip was almost entirely self-guided, but also (and primarily) on being at the mercy of a careless and reckless driver/tour "guide." He was distracted, digging into various bags in the passenger seat (over 30 times on the ride there alone) and he took calls and scrolled through his phone for the duration of the return trip (often not looking up from his phone for almost a minute at a time), swerving and veering on the road. At the start of the trip, we immediately felt comforted by a dash cam that appeared to be recording and aimed at the driver; after the fact, we wondered if it was just for looks, because it certainly didn't encourage our driver to be safe.

We have ridden in many a city taxi, taken city buses, and had bad drivers before, but never have we worried about our safety in a vehicle as much as we did on this tour. It was a bad enough experience that we attempted to call someone, but there was no cell service for much of the ride and none at all within the park (something to keep in mind), not to mention the complication of being hours away from our hotel.

As a result, the day was stressful and the experience ruined what should have been a wonderful memory.

We returned in the evening and I promptly wrote an email to the company. The Tour Operation Manager replied with a vague offer to "extend a very special rate on a future tour." He knew we lived thousands of miles away and I'd discussed with staff upon booking that we were departing the next day, so the offer came across as a minimal and disingenuous way of the company being able to say that they made at least some effort to pacify our complaint. Having owned businesses ourselves, there is NO WAY we would send an email and not pick up the phone to personally reach out to a customer expressing a bad experience and disturbing claims about one of our employees. Disappointing, and it really drove home that the company's lack of care and concern for customers may be the very reason the driver felt so comfortable in being reckless with our safety.

Zion itself is absolutely breathtaking. Rent a car, wear comfortable shoes that can get wet, bring a hiking stick if you have one (they also sell them in the park), pack your lunch or dine at the lodge, and bring your camera. Totally worth a visit.

We originally wanted to do the Bryce Canyon tour but that was unavailable for the day we wanted to go. ZION was offered as an alternative. We were picked up at our hotel in Las Vegas around 7 AM. Our guide was Julian and there were 8 people on our tour. The van looked new and was reasonably comfortable. We were back around 7 pm.

On the ride to ZION, Julian identified and explained points of interest along the way. He also spoke extensively about the natural history and human history as well as the geology of the area. He did a great job.

The actual tour of the national park was divided into two parts. First, Julian drove us along a main road crowded with tourist vehicles. He explained what we were looking at and stopped frequently so we could take pictures. The views were fantastic. The second part of the tour was in an area where the National Park Service allows only it's own vehicles. They have a hop on - hop off free shuttle that makes 8 designated stops. The shuttle drivers explain what is at each stop and give descriptions of the walking trails each stop offers access to. Most trails are paved and I saw wheel chairs and baby carriages in use.

The scenery at ZION is awesome. I liked it better than Yosemite because ZION gave me a more personal experience. While Yosemite is broadly majestic ZION is right in your face. You can feel it.

This was our second trip to Zion and it was great. The wildlife alone is worth the trip. We saw Mule Deer, Desert Big Horn Sheep, Rock Squirrels and California Condors.

Some details on the trip. Adventure Photo tours picked us up at our hotel and transported us to Zion National park. The APT driver paid for our entry into the park. We were then dropped off in the park at shuttle stop #2 to catch park operated shuttle buses. (We were given our lunch to eat at our own leisure.)The shuttle buses actually transported us through the park and pointed out interesting facts and landmarks.

Zion Shuttle tip. The buses coming from shuttle stop #1 to shuttle stop # 2 are standing room only. Catch a shuttle bus coming from the park interior that has plenty of room and ride it back down to shuttle stop #1. You will have to get off the bus when arriving at #1 and get in line for departing shuttles. This is best way to get a seat for the long ride through the park. Otherwise you will stand the entire time.

The trip through the park is narrated by the Zion park staff and is very informative. we rode the shuttle to river trail and hiked to the narrows. This hike will take about 30 minutes. Don't be shy about passing people on the trail as you hike. if you get caught behind slow walkers you will not make it to the narrows in the time allotted.

Zion is a beautiful National Park and is well worth the trip.

Drove through the Mojave Desert on our way to Zion National Park, one of the grand masterpieces of geological formations in Utah. The forces of water, wind, and volcanic fire, along with the processes of deposition, uplift, and erosions have created a landscape of great beauty. Our Aussie tour guide, Phillip, was an excellent historian of the area’s within the states that we traveled through, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. He was both informative and courteous as he made numerous stops for breaks and photos.

If you want to Zion then this is the tour! I was picked on time at my hotel by Dennis who explained everything was going to happen. We made a couple of rest stops on the way to Zion to break the journey. When we arrived in Zion Dennis showed us (there was maybe and three other people in our tour) where to find the shuttle stops and restrooms etc.

He provided us with maps and suggestions of hikes we could do before providing us with our lunch and away we went. We had three hours in the park using the shuttles to get around.

Zion use a shuttle bus system, no cars are allowed but we never had to wait anymore than five minutes for a shuttle at each stop. We had time to eat lunch and do part of the riverside walk along with stops at each stop on the way back for photos.

After the three hours Dennis met at the lodge and provided ice cold bottled water and then continued the tour through the tunnel and onto checkerboard mesa.

Wonderful day out, thank you!
