I was a solo traveler and was able to pay for 2 to receive a tour of the Red Rock Canyon at the 1 pm window. I've been going through a lot of personal struggles and the Vegas vibe really was not filling my cup.
I had the great fortunate of having Julio as my hiking guide. Julio was kind, compassionate, knowledgable. He supported me in pushing beyond my fears with heights/climbs and was so positive and encouraging during the drive and hike. He went above and beyond by assisting to carry my camera and water, as I had no pockets, and even got some once in a lifetime pics of me climbing as I was traveling solo.
Julio took the experience from being an 8 to a 10+. The view, conversation, and positivity were fantastic and seriously had me feeling 200% at the end. Definitely the best part of my Vegas trip!

This hike was a great experience all around. Julio was the best guide ever. He did a really great job tailoring the hike to the experience level of our group, which went a long way to making it the enjoyable experience that it was. He is knowledgeable, professional, fun, and attentive to the needs of the group. Our hike was just over 2 hours (about 4 hours total trip when you count the 30 minute drive to/from the Las Vegas strip) was the perfect, refreshing half-day getaway in Las Vegas.

Thanks for taking the time to write us such a great review! I'm very pleased to hear that Julio took great care of you and your group. You came at a perfect time, October has great weather for outdoor adventures in Las Vegas. I hope we can host you out here again soon, or on one of our multi-day tours; there's lots locations to choose from. Thanks again!

I encountered Chris and his tour while hiking red rock canyon. I was not part of the tour group, but I followed immediately behind them going through a tricky part of calico trail, and got to watch Chris lead his group. He was patient and courteous to the beginners in his group, and gave the more experienced among them more leeway with some guiding counsel.

I would consider using this tour company for a future unfamiliar hike, and I’d endorse them as a recommendation based on the leadership I witnessed.

This was a well organized hiking trip. Julio scaled the hike to the participants-allowing the fast hikers to take a more adventurous hike and the others to have a safe but enjoyable hike. There were 10 of us in the group and we did a lot of hiking. It is hot in August so be prepared with a hat, water, sunscreen, and proper shoes. I wore hiking boots and wool socks and was glad I did so since the terrain is up and down hills and somewhat slippery. The pickup and drop offs on the strip were efficient. Also, Julio accomodated bathroom stops, but once on the trail there are only natural bathrooms. Also, if you've been up all night partying in Vegas, this would not be a good way to cure a hangover. The three of us enjoyed the natural beauty of Nevada's Red Rocks.

Irving was our guide and he so friendly and really went out of his way to make everybody feel comfortable. You have options as to which trail you want to take and he gives excellent advice to help you choose. We picked number 2 and the views were out of this world! Coming from indiana you don’t get to see mountains so it was definitely an experience that was worth the money. Irving made it all that much more enjoyable with his knowledge of the area and his friendly demeanor and he even went out of his way to take pictures of me and my boyfriend for us. I would definitely do it again!

Despite a later than planned pick up (they were 40 mins late due to another guest not being ready) we had a great time on this tour. Red Rock Canyon was beautiful and just 30 mins from Las Vegas allowing most of the half day tour being spent actually hiking or admiring the stunning scenery. Our guide Irving was excellent, relaxed, friendly and informative and gave us a great overview of our walk options which allowed us to pick the most appropriate one for our group and the conditions that day (freezing!). Would highly recommend both Escape Adventures and making time to escape Vegas and hiking Red Rock Canyon.

Great to escape the smokey casinos and get out into the fresh air at Redrock Canyon. Our tour guide, Irvine, did a great job, engaging with all members of the group as we climbed and scrambled our way to the top. Fabulous views and great exercise, thoroughly recommended!

Irving was our tour guide and he took us out with great knowledge and reassurance during the 100+ degree weather. He was incredibly friendly and energetic, but mostly patient with us and our needs to take breaks every now and then. We will definitely be coming back in cooler weather to take another tour with Irving!

3rd tour with Escape Adventures was a blast. Went out to Red Rock Canyon for a hike with heavy emphasis with scrambling up the terrain. Our guide, Julio, knocked it out of the park. He took us to a cave, and at our request an off the beaten path scramble up to various ridge tops. A ton of fun for us and something a little different for him too. Julio checks all the boxes for a guide…professional, fun, competent, knowledgeable, etc, etc with the desire to make sure you are enjoying yourself while keeping you safe. We keep using Escape Adventures because they are great.

Get away from the strip and see some beauty…Red Rock Canyon is gorgeous.

It was a great experience given that I could get out and see something different apart from the Strip. The view was amazing, the Hike was not difficult. Our guide Kirk made us feel welcome, comfortable and looked after the group throughout the hike. I would love to do a longer hike next time, if Escape can arrange longer one !

The park is only 30 min away from the strip, there is no reception in the park, a guided tour is recommended , especially you go solo like me. Met a nice family in the group, they were celebrities and interviewed by the CNBC news anchor :-)
