          Brilliant Wild West Trip
This was booked for our final night in Vegas to unwind and it was perfect. Horses were gentle and calm and well looked after. We were given well informed instructions by our guide Leo about how to ride as we were beginners and who was amazing telling us loads about the wildlife in the area too on our trek. Denny our driver who collected us from our hotel and dropped us back and cook (very funny guy and great chef) We would highly recommend this trip. After our meal we had a bit of fun with lassoing a metal bull! All in all a brilliant experience and feel like you’re in the Wild West! Would we do again? Definitely yes!

          Stunning trail ride
Wow. What a trip. Picked up from hotel right on time by Denny who shared lots if interesting information on the 45 mins to the ranch based in the most beautiful of settings. Caesar and hector gave full safety demonstration and then we were saddled on gorgeous well looked after horses. The trail ride was spectacular although only an hour or so was perfect as the ride back with the sun set was just stunning. Food cooked by Denny was fabulous. Steak/ magicked baked potato and corn followed by apple pie. What’s not to like! Nice touch was the intro to the bull and a go at lasso rope. Ride home was quicker as less traffic. Perfect evening. Would recommend to anyone.

          HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! TERRIBLE OWNER RESPONSE!
Booked this ride for seven of us. We were very excited about doing this during our recent trip to Vegas. We all planned and bought cute outfits and hats and boots. The day before our ride I called to confirm our pickup location (and thank God I did). The first man I spoke with told me I didn't have reservations and maybe I booked with another company. I explained to him that I booked with Wild West and I had the confirmation email and we were going the following day. He was rude and said he would speak with his boss. Well the owner called and stated he had booked us for the wrong date and we were basically SOL as he was "sold out all weekend". I explained that i had booked this in January. That didn't seem to matter to him. His response was that he was "sorry and people make mistakes". Well buddy you disappointed 7 people. He said he would refund the money but that's all he could do. If I made these plans and bought 7 tickets FOUR MONTHS in advance, wouldn't you think he would cancel others instead of us?! I can't believe he would run his company this way. To make matters worse, we had an opportunity to go to a great event at this same time, and we turned it down as we had these plans already. What a HUGE disappointment! Next time we're in Vegas, don't worry, we will book with ANOTHER COMPANY!! Such a horrible experience!

          Fabulous trip!
This was a fantastic trip. The driver and cook, Denny, was very informative and friendly and made a great dinner. Caesar and Charlene were both fabulous. They put anyone who was a little nervous at ease. Provided some basic instruction and basically provided the rules eg don’t let the horses eat the grass :-). The horses were lovely and the trek was a great combination of flat and a little up and down (nothing steep). For my husband and I this was the perfect end to our trip to Las Vegas and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My 8 year old daughter and I did this, and it was great. Tour guides were informative and careful with her.
The views were great, took lots of pictures. My daughter was in the back with a guide for safety reasons. I wish I could remember the guy who was with her. So informative and very attentive. Lots of encouragement to my 8 year old. He was great.

My wonderful ranch/horse expedition in the wild west.
The staff was very nice and helpful. It was a pleasure to ride with them. They were very informative and pleasant. The cowboy was smart and nice looking. The instruction for pick up were an experience but was able to find the place.

Rode through the desert on a horse with a name.
Ride through the desert on a horse with a name… “Gunner”. Chanel, our guide, was knowledgeable and fun to chat with. She knew all the answers, and had lots to say about the area. Joe, our driver and camp chef, was just as nice, he too shared stories about whatever folks wanted to talk about. As an added bonus, be sure to try your hand at lassoing after dinner. They will teach you and it is certainly thrill when the lasso hits its mark. The horses all seemed gentle, even if you’ve never ridden one before, it’s worth the trip.

Amazing experience. Very enjoyable, would highly recommend.
An amazing experience from start to finish. My 6 year old daughter was extremely nervous about riding such a big horse, but Cesar was brilliant with her and did everything to calm her down. She went on to thoroughly enjoy herself and says this was the highlight of her trip! The BBQ was awesome, very tasty. We also enjoyed watching and trying to lasso, and having our photos taken with the Bull. The setting was perfect too. Some truly amazing memories made, and we as a whole family would highly recommend.

We had an amazing time with spectacular views. Guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. As a first timer on a horse I was very nervous however that soon passed as the horses are well trained

Get off the strip and on a horse
This was the best part of our Vegas Vacation! From the shuttle pick up with Giovanni, to the trail ride with Cesar and Leo, the whole thing was perfection. Cesar was an excellent host, keeping the banter going and making sure the riders felt safe and comfortable. Leo showed us how to lasso a "bull", we were allowed to take photos with a bull, and Giovanni made the best BBQ dinner to end our night. We will definitely be booking this when we return to Nevada.

Mexican vaqueros are really nice, make good contact with the people and their horses are very well trained. The ride is nice although a bit short and the landscape is not the most stunning of the region. The driver who happens to be cook for the breakfast greeted me in a «special» as I can't use my Canadian phone number for it is way to expensive...I was on time, I had replied message from the site but somehow he wanted more and was unhappy with all that I I was kind of a bit abruptly welcomed. When I said thank at the end of the excursion he did not even reply to me while he didi for others before. The meal was more than below average and I did horse back ride even in very remote canyons in the state and even more in mexico and I was not impressed bu his meal that I wished myself to eat as the pressure to clear the place was obvious...Expansive for what it is, really and compared with what others offer here, with really stunning views, longer horseback ride including info about how to rie the horse as people in the groups are always doing their first ride... disappointed somehow.

Answering below to questions, I can't say as I did not see nor notice so I can't tell. It doesn't mean it was not the case though.

Good morning, Thank you for the review and for choosing Wild West Horseback Adventures. Although you rated us average, we strive to exceed guest expectation. The lion portion of our guests rate us above average, and we accomplish this task by offering a high-quality product, at a fair price, and an elevated level of customer service. Everyone at Wild West Horseback Adventures works hard to create a memorable experience for every guest. The trail ride is 1.5 hours in duration, and we feel that is perfect for our riders. The lion portion of our riders are first time or novice, so anything longer is a bit taxing for the beginner. I completely understand, that for an experienced rider, like yourself, the ride may have been short. Advanced riders may be accustomed to a longer ride, but as I stated the lion portion of our riders are first timers. Regarding the riding location, we ride on a private ranch that is adjacent to the Valley of Fire State Park. We feel the views are spectacular. The trail ride is flat, easy, and scenic, which is optimal for a safe ride. Safety is our top priority, and as I stated earlier, the lion portion of our riders are first timers, and we want them to feel safe, secure, and comfortable in the saddle. Regarding the meal, our breakfast menu includes, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, choice of bacon or sausage, and beverage. We feel this is more than enough for a breakfast menu. Normally guests enjoy the breakfast a great deal, and feel the quantity is more than adequate. Communication with our guests is key to offering great service, and a quality experience. Although guests receive a voucher that advises them to call us before their ride, on occasion they do not call. Which is OK, we understand guests are on vacation want to relax, and have a fun time. We want the same thing for our guests. When we do not hear from guests before their ride, we will reach out to them. When we did not hear from you, we left a voicemail on your cell phone, a text, as well as, an email, but no response. It does make it more difficult on our end when we do not hear from a guest. It is important to talk to our guests before their ride, so we can make sure they know their correct pickup time and the exact location for pickup. This is particularly important to make sure pickups go as smooth as possible. Also, we like to make sure we talk to guests, to answer any questions they may have, and to make sure they have the correct riding attire. This process allows us to operate in an effective, efficient manner, and offer the best product possible. I do appreciate your feedback and sharing your experience. Although we try to exceed guest expectations, we do not always hit the nail on the head. I have addressed your concerns with the staff, and we will apply the feedback where appropriate, and continue to offer the best product possible. Thanks again for choosing Wild West Horseback Adventures. Safe travels. Happy Trails, Jason

Laid back trail ride through beautiful scenery with gentle horses and gracious guides. Hosts provide information about the horses, the ride and the area and ensure that their guests feel safe and comfortable. Delicious hot coffee and breakfast with fellow riders is relaxing and enjoyable. If time allows, there are lassoing lessons and when you rope that steer (a practice/model one not a real one) it’s a real confidence booster! Pick up and drop off organized and smooth. Don’t miss out!

Our driver & chef Denny was excellent, I like as we are driving there he takes time to point out and tell us about Nevada. The horseback riding was great, both of our guides were excellent and they take the time to stop and take everyone’s picture. We even learned how to lasso afterwards. I will do this ride again and highly recommend it to everyone!!! Worth the money

The whole experience, a first time for us was great. Pick up was on time, 10 guests in a comfortable 15 passenger ford vehicle. Dan our driver ( and later breakfast cook ) was great. At the ranch Caesar and Channel explained all the do’s and don’t’s whilst on the trek and all the horses looked to be very well cared for which was great. The ride itself was at a very leisurely walking pace with a few stops to look at interesting sights. Caesar and Channel were a wealth of knowledge during the ride and we were accompanied by Caesar’s 2 Australian cattle dogs which was neat. Upon return to the ranch Dan had breakfast of scrambled eggs, pancakes, hash browns and choice of bacon or sausage ready for us. A great way to start the day.

Our outing started off by being promptly picked up by Danny who served as our driver and cook for the day. He was funny and knowledgeable of the area. He made the travel to the destination pretty cool, even pointing out special Air Force jets. Once we arrived at the destination we met out guides. They were stellar, my daughter was a bit apprehensive but they helped her out and checked on her during the entire ride. Our guides were very helpful and made the ride entertaining by telling stories and jokes. We had a family of 5: 1 adult, 2 teens, and 2 younger kids and EVERYONE enjoyed themselves. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience with horses who were well looked after and very well trained. Cowboys guides were very friendly and professional. Pick up from hotel was on time and again very friendly and professional. Cook was great and the vegetarian meal he cooked for me was soooo tasty. Hubby’s full english breakfast was also delicious. Highly recommend for adults and kids alike.

Cesar and the team was very professional
He made us feel safe with the horses and introduced us the the cold brisk air of the Nevada desert . My horse was called collarado ( just thought you might want to know) the 1 and half hr ride just flew by and a chance to experience the desert landscape and valley. The breakfast after wards was rustic . I thought there would be beans involved:) .not that I wanted any . Cesar showed us a couple of small bull and he help us climbed on it and took photos. It was first time I ve ever sat on a bull , great feeling of a majestic animal. All in all would recommend if you want to contrast the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas strip.little tip … prepare for cold temperatures for morning ride . It’s cold .!
Ps love the desert dogs too.

What makes this experience unique is not only the gorgeous landscape/horses but also the amazing crew. Caesar the cowboy shared fascinating stories about the region, indigenous history, etc. He was attentive to every rider, put my mom at ease for her first horseback ride and even offered to take a photo of her on a bull - it made her day! We had some extra time at the end and got a lasso lesson. The cook made a delicious breakfast. The crew really created a friendly environment for all of the guests to interact. Remember to bundle up and wear gloves if you're riding in cold weather. I would recommend this experience to anyone.

Cesar is the best! He takes the time to answer all of your questions, tell stories and give tips for things to do in Las Vegas (and beyond). A fun experience (I‘ve been told the sunset ride is also very special) with the horses and nature.

First off wanted to say this is a great way to start a morning on day one of our first visit to Las Vegas. From the van driver that picked us up and cooked the breakfast meal, to the two wranglers on our ride, my wife and I had a great time. The wranglers were very friendly and courteous throughout the entire ride, making conversation and taking pictures for those that wanted them. Our van driver was very friendly answering questions and sharing his Vegas knowledge and cooked up an excellent breakfast. We would recommend the morning ride for anyone needing a nice quiet break during their stay in Vegas or just want some nice peaceful horseback therapy that’s good for the soul with some great scenery along the way. Would highly recommend for those looking to unwind from the chaos of the strip for a few hours.
