What to expect
  • This Death Valley Jeep tour begins with a hotel pickup in Las Vegas. First, make a brief stop at the Furnace Creek Visitor Center to gather some maps for the journey. Browse some of the books for sale and collect a Death Valley stamp for a National Park passport, if desired. From there, drive to the Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere at 282 feet below sea level. This surreal landscape at Death Valley features one of the largest protected salt flats in the world — too harsh for most plants and animals to survive in. Then travel down Badwater Road to the Devil’s Golf Course, a large salt pan on the floor of Death Valley, located in the Mojave Desert within Death Valley National Park. The rain and wind continually erode this region, shape-shifting the ground into different-looking terrain with the weather. Finally, experience the most breathtaking view in Death Valley: Dante’s Peak, a mountaintop overlook more than 5,000 feet above the desolation of Death Valley. Pull out the smartphone or camera to capture the breathtaking panoramic views. Interestingly, on a clear day, Mount Whitney, the highest point in the United States, and Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the US, can be seen from here. Along the way, learn about Death Valley’s history, landscape and wildlife, plus the urban legends of ghost towns and long-abandoned gold mines along the way. Lunch is included, so please make a sandwich selection in the Special Requirements field at the time of booking. Choose from turkey, Italian, ham, deluxe turkey (with cranberry and stuffing) or veggie. Notice: This tour is seasonal and only operates from September to May.

Wonderful Death Valley Tour
Mar 2021
This was a wonderful tour. Our guide, Michael was very knowledgeable about Death Valley. He took us off the main drag to areas the buses can not go. It was fun going down the "jeep trails" & seeing the sights that most people do not get to see. We had a very good box lunch too. We also drove through the ghost town of Rhyolite before getting to Death Valley. This is the way to see Death Valley--leave the driving to Pink Jeep Tours & you can enjoy all the sights much better.

An amazing experience with Debbie Graham
Sep 2020
I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful our experience with Pink Jeep and our guide Debbie was! It was the most fun we've ever had!
My husband and I thought that our tour would be cancelled due to the current circumstances, but that was not the case! Our guide, Debbie, was fantastic, truly a gem! Very professional, friendly, and highly informative and professional. She stopped and showed us so many breathtaking viewpoints and she also knew so much about the history of Death Valley. We have done many tours and this was by far our favorite one. Debbie was just so friendly, kind and so good to talk to!

We will most certainly be back and l recommend Pink Jeep to all our family and friends!

Thank you, Debbie! We will use your service next time and we are excited to have you as a tour guide again!

Amazing Area
Oct 2019
Death Valley is an amazing area. It is a huge park, the 4th largest in the US, with the other 3 all being in Alaska. If you can't take several days to see it, Pink Jeep tour is the way to go. We got an overview of the area and it is beautiful. Our tour operator was very safety conscious. Also Pink Jeep provided plenty of water, something you definitely need.

Our tour guide Mike was able to share interesting information on the social history and natural history of not only Death Valley but the areas we passed on the way. Because of the small tour vehicle we could go more places the larger buses can't. Recommend this tour to any visitor who wants to see something outside Vegas

Amazing Tour
Apr 2019 • Solo
Every Pink Jeep Tour I have taken has been wonderful, and this tour to Death Valley was no exception. It was amazing. Jennifer was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Everything we saw was breathtaking--Dante's View, the Devil's Golf Course, Badwater Basin, Artist's Palette, etc. I really had no idea what to expect, so I spent most of the day in awe!

When you book the tour, you make a lunch choice. The bagged lunches included a lot of food! Bottled water is available for the whole trip.

The tour was 9+ hours. It was well worth both the time and money spent. I will never hesitate to take another Pink Jeep tour.

Long held dream realised.

I had wanted to visit Death Valley for about 50 years and I cannot over state how much this trip surpassed my expectations. Jessie the guide was informative and friendly. The bus comfy and the other guests fun to be with. The Valley itself was the star. Well worth putting up with Vegas to take this tour.

FANTASTIC
Apr 2019 • Family
We were recently in Las Vegas and took a day to do a Pink Jeep tour of Death Valley. Our guide was John Holmes. First off, Death Valley is amazing and a must see.
We’ve taken Pink Jeep a few years ago and loved it. This tour was also fantastic. John was an excellent guide. He knew so much about Vegas and Death Valley. And he really acclimated to our group. It didn’t feel like we were on a tour. It felt like we had a friend showing us the area. Really a great guide and a great trip.
